They were a…read morelittle disappointed because today was snow cone day and I picked them up before they got theirs. Being a good father, I decided to take them to get a slush puppy from the Chevron in Ridgland on the corner of Highway 51 and Ridgeland Avenue. While we were in line to pay, my six-year-old reached down to get a lollipop from the shelf underneath the counter directly in front of her. After going through the normal routine of denying her the lollipop and asking her politely to put it back she reached down to put it back where she got it from. It was then that I noticed that beside the two boxes of lollipops is where they displayed all of their sexual pills, condoms, and other adult novelties. I politely paid for my slush puppies and took my girls and put them in the truck. I walked back in and gave the owner a piece of my mind about his display location of sexual innuendo. The SOB laughed and said that he had never had any complaints before. Well, if you know me you know that this did not sit well with me. Let's just say he will never forget my face. I am asking all parents boycott this gas station so that we can retain the innocence of our children one step at a time.

The lady who worked there, don't know her name she had glasses. She followed me in the bathroom, followed my dad out to his truck, kept eyeing me down, I felt like I was being attacked when all I was doing was getting some coffee. I've never felt so uncomfortable ever in my life. The hostility was insane. The guy coworker didn't help either, he was also looking at me like if I'm a criminal. First off, im a CHILD OF GOD. The lack of respect and humanity was real. I said Goodmorning he just stared at me like if I'm an alien. I didn't understand but it was a horrible feeling. I hope no one has to go through what my dad and I went thru. God bless. I hope they can have more humanity for this world and more empathy. Thank you.

I had to speak with the store manager on today to get the issue resolved. I spoke with Tanesha(not sure how to spell it) store manager, at approximately 10:50am. When Tanesha came out she did NOT greet me, I had to speak to her first. Tanesha's entire vibe was hostile and this was our very first encounter. I explained to Tanesha the reason why I was there and never once did she apologize for my experience, never once did she extend her empathy for my troubles or anything. Tanesha was ready for confrontation, just as her shift lead was the previous encounter. All I wanted was my refund, as I did my previous time. After I finished explaining everything to Tanesha and I showed her my electronic receipt, Tanesha just walked off for a whole FOUR MINUTES and never said a word as to where she was going. She walked back up front and proceeded to give me my refund. Tanesha asked me to put in my rewards number, scan my electronic receipt and asked for my address; gave me my refund and that was it. Tanesha did not say have a nice day, thank you for coming, or anything else a CUSTOMER SERVICE MANAGER of a national store would say to a customer after a traumatic experience. Tanesha had her employees at the front like she was about to curse me out and throw me out of the store. Tanesha was ready for a battle with the wrong person. Her shift lead initiated, instigated, fueled, and ended an entire UNNECESSARY argument about a refund and Tanesha was upset and hostile with ME. I am confused at this entire situation. I feel BULLIED and I am unsure if I am in any eminent danger dealing with such individuals. All because I ask for a refund of my own money. I received an email stating that Tanesha would speak with me about the incident with Leslie and she did not mention the incident. This store needs NEW management and these TWO BULLIES should NOT work for Walgreens. I do not feel safe with people like that working in an environment where myself and my children have to go. I NEED HELP FROM SOMEONE OTHER THAN LOCAL MANAGEMENT.
