Words can not begin to express my extreme frustration and disappointment with Marble Law. I needed some legal advise and to file some paperwork back on September 27th. I had to call back at a later time to schedule another meeting before filing paperwork due to the change in my circumstances. I have been cancelled on three times! Each time I sat around for an hour waiting for the attorney's phone call. Several hours later I'd get a call saying how sorry they were and schedule me out another appointment a whole week later. It is now November 8th and even the Senior Partner that was supposed to call me, never contacted me, not even to reschedule. I hired Marble after leaving my verbally abusing ex husband. I was given a lawyer by random pick. We have never once met in person until recently at a temporary orders court hearing. Marble has not been a good company and my lawyer didn't care about my case. please rethink hiring them. Some exam of why. my lawyer would never contact me by email or phone until the day before something was due like financial statements. He would never keep me informed of what was going on with my case ever. I would email my lawyer and not get a response back for days. I filed for temporary orders to get my son and he didn't even call me until the night before to talk to me about what is to happen or what he was going to ask me. The day of the temporary orders hearing he did bother to tell me that the other side had evidence to use against me. He never asked the proper questions. We were walking out of the court room and I asked him when the child orders were to start and he was like "oh yeah"! Walked back into the court room and asked the judge. Give me a break!! He should know what to ask and what to do. Have complained to Marble Law about how unhappy I was and they just ignored my request and told me "well he had other cases". I have paid over $7000 just to file for divorce and file for temporary orders. I have not received the service that I should have. It's already a difficult time going through a divorce but to have a company not have any sympathy or support or not keep me in the loop about how this is to work is not fair. I've been using marble for about 2 years. It's a worse scammers company I ever met. They hold my deposit. They text you contract not email you. Everything's done through texting or phone calls. They don't want no receipts. When they want their money they contact you when you need to get a hold of them. They ignore you. I wanted a subpoena serve. They ignored me. I had to call them to remind them I about my subpoena never got served. They made me sign something on text not email me and they stole my $1,000 saying that they gave it to another company that I owed. Not asking me that I want my money back on my account again. I needed another service to go to court. I gave Marble deposit for $2,500. I didn't need to go to court so I wanted a refund back to my account I used. I paid cash Now they're holding my money hostage again. They want me to sign the contract on text not email because they want to keep my money and add some kind of service fee for nothing they haven't done. The lack of communication after they get their money is horrible. Took just shy of a month before I even heard from someone about my needs. Lawyer closed items that were not completed with me and did not have a review of my situation. It took 3 emails and finally an unhappy comment from me on a Facebook post to even hear from someone at Marble. They are discount lawyers and offer a low level of service. I will also add that I had to ask for the same mistakes to be corrected multiple times on my documents. Names spelled incorrectly or just the wrong name entirely. SSN's entered for the wrong person. For a profession that requires attention to detail, this was a massive red flag to me. If I could give a negative star I would do not waste your money. I waited a few months before I wrote my review and for those that lost money I am sorry. I obtained this firm on a limited scope basis in July 2024 I was going through a very nasty divorce. The attorney I was assigned was SOFIDIYA, ITUNU OLAYEMI she is easy to speak with and prompt in responding that I will say. She convinced me I needed to urgently address an issue and draft a document which was another $4,000. Thinking it was necessary I paid it. She was clearly intimidated by opposing counsel and talked me into agreeing to a ridiculous visitation schedule said it will only be for a month because we go to trial in a month. Yes we were planning on her representing me at trial. The day after the last settlement hearing she emails me and says I won't be able to represent you in three weeks cause I have a family emergency. I'm human and compassionate and said ok will your firm give me someone else I received no response from her. I frantically looked for another attorney all told me the same thing they needed more time and recommended I request a postponement. I reached out to SOFIDIYA, ITUNU'S boss telling her the bind they put me in and if they can at least help with drafting the postponement, I told her I found something that could void things she said that's more complicated. Then proceeded to tell me I can file the postponement myself. I did, it was denied. The day of court I asked for reconsideration due to my attorney leaving shortly before trial I was granted the postponement. The judge even said that's not a good firm. I found another firm Rusz Legal Services their communication is slow but they get the job done they filed a motion and that complicated action was granted in less than 30 days no court appearance. I wasted thousands with Marble money they knew I didn't have I was honest up front with them. Don't waste your money with Marble Law Firm in Maryland go to Rusz Legal Service they can fully represent you or do limited scope. At first really nice when you speak to a marble representative(of course they want your money) spoke to the lawyer witch I feel didn't pay any attention to me but said he could take on my case! Later texted me asking to speak with someone else and info on there case! Should have been my first red flag, but then I paid and it took him a week to reach out to me!! Second flag!!After I called complaining. Then when he finally called he was all over the place not paying attention to me and faught me every step of the way! Didn't do the paperwork the way I wanted because according to him the judge was wouldnt care about really serious matters I wanted addressed. He was way too confident and didn't back it up at all! I Initially spoke to a So called "case manager" Laura C . I was told that that all of my court needs would be handled by an appointed attorney by the name of "Stephen chicportich" . I made an initial payment of $5,701.00 (out of 6700.00) to retain service's 0n May 12th 2022. I was also appointed a case manager by the name of Eric diment the same day. I was contacted by a Paralegal supposedly representing the attorney who filled out all of my court documents improperly! I was lied to and told by the paralegal that all my documents were e-filed for me on dehave of the attorney. ALL DOCUMENTS WERE NOT E-FILLED! I found that out myself by going to the courts and doing research on my own case! documents were not filed and the declaration that was filled out by the paralegal States " superior court of California COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES" !? .... I live in San Jose California!!!!!! ( bay area) . The documents were not filled out right and there are 2 separate court cases ! (Which should have been run concurrently due to the fact that the custody case will affect the outcome of the child support case which I told the perillegal!!) all documents were filled out under one court case number! This is my updated review for Marble Law. Laura H. never reached out to us. My rating has changed from one to four stars. Why? Ms. Kenya. She reached out to both myself and my son. She listened to all of our concerns, along with Marble's behavior towards our case. She began working towards a solution, contacting their financial department, getting a full refund, and canceling our contract. She gave us her contact information along with keeping in touch until everything was finalized. As I read the reviews, she stepped up on many occasions and cleaned up the mess and lies, and started the refund process. She is reliable, responsible, respectful, and honest. She should be the operating officer of both departments, management and finance. She spent manpower hours making sure everything was done correctly, without any mistakes. If I could give the experience a 0 I would. There's no other way to put it - my attorney flat out sucked... his communication sucked.... Never on time with any paperwork - anytime something needed to be done I found out last minute... For reference - imagine if someone handed you ALL the evidence from the OJ Simpson trial, and the ONLY thing you use to prove OJ Simpson did it is the Bronco Chase, nothing else.... That's how incompetent and a shit show of a show my lawyer was. I actually negotiated my own settlement in the end and still had to pay my lawyer almost 10k.... You can find a better attorney anywhere including your local community college or University... you may be able to do a better job yourself vs. dealing with Marble Law to be honest. I would take whatever option(s) you have before choosing Marble Law. I am not happy with my case. I see 1.5 stars yelp but 4 stars Google. Are those fake reviews on Google? Big discrepancy. I feel my case has not been handled properly and tic toc I get the short end of the stick because of it. Filed divorce 13 mos ago and it's still pending and I have no eta of what the status is. It was supposed be complete in November but they filed the default papers without including the house which is a BIG deal so the courts rejected since didn't match original paperwork. Big oversight. So they and re file and re serve. The paralegal told me this and the attorney denied it. I Google the attorney assigned. Only licensed since 2019. Is this why perhaps? Or is he over extended? Make it make sense. I feel like I want a refund since have start square zero basically over. I chose this firm based reviews Google which do not match reviews here. I don't even know where start but I can start by saying this law firm should be ashamed of themselves. I started out by simply hiring people for a smooth non problematic divorce, no kids. You would think this process would be easy but instead "marble" made it hell. I had to cancel the settlement negotiations out of my case so it deducted a balance leaving me with money owed back (Still haven't gotten it back yet) but on top of that they are still charging MY CARD for an account I already paid off. I tried to get in contact with my "case manager" but it seems as if she changed her number so I can no longer reach her?? Knowing that she told me she'd contact me back giving me advice for the next steps after canceling the service and never got back to me. So I came into contact with stephanie and she told me she'd flag my concern so someone can get back to me?? I have other bills to pay and don't have time to wait around to be contacted. I literally don't understand how hard it is to get ahold of someone for a FRAUDULENT COMPLAINT? At the beginning of the year I was set up with a case manager, who went MIA on me for 3 months then proceeded to tell me she got a new position and was no longer my case manager?? I paid them $5,000 for what they call "stage 1" I was told that would get me to court, never mind that they originally told me it was $2,000. Once I had to turn in paperwork, I was told that I needed to file all that out myself. Then days before court my lawyer emailed me to wish me luck with everything as they will not be representing me! I called the clerk, and they told me that my lawyer never revealed themselves as my attorney. A review is not going to change their marketing tactics.  To charge $49 for a strategy session" is a deal if the pitch person isn't so busy trying to seal the deal as they don't understand or have a grasp of the law and jurisdictions or a more knowledgeable supervisor to structure their answers to prospective clients. I spoke with Nick at length regarding my needs and the specifics.  He sent me a link to pay [for the strategy session with a Georgia lawyer] that did not work.  I called 4 times, texted twice and attempted to leave a message using his number that Marble Law voicemail system didn't identify was for him specifically. After a month I scheduled another case review with Jordanne. AGAIN I was very specific in terms of my needs and my experience with Nick ....but the morning of the day I'd agreed to pay per my conversation with Jordanne miraculously Nick calls and the Q&A begins all over again. He scheduled the consultation with an attorney in Georgia and 30 minutes after the appointment time I texted Nick and his response was overly apologetic saying the Georgia attorney emailed to say they were stuck in court and that I should reschedule. Audibly disgusted when I asked why no one told me...he quickly offered the next available with a Georgia attorney who was very polite and professional and after asking me all the same questions I'd answered 3 times before he informed me I needed a lawyer in New York. Needless to say I was livid. I voiced my complaint to the attorney knowing it was out of his control but that he should know how poorly HE'S being represented. read more

let's just say after I hired them I started questioning if they were a real company. Communication was horrible to say the least. They are an intermediate between you and a lawyer they find for you. Mine lived in a different city and only spoke with me for 5 mins, didn't get all details of my case so of course didn't handle my case at all. Only took my money. I had to ask my bank to open a case to get my money back from them. It took one month, while I needed that money to hire another attorney to help with my horrible divorce. A true nightmare. Although my lawyer was very responsive, even on weekends, I was misled. It cost 3k just for the lawyer to file a case for me (which I should/could have done myself), and that is all she did. Kenya is the best QC specialist that I've ever dealt with, in any company or industry. I'm extremely thankful for her and the fact that Marble employs her. If Kenya was the overall service then I would rate Marble 6 stars. The only reason I updated my comment to 3 stars is because time, effort, investment, and lack of procedural preparation have critical effects on the real lives of real people. I believe in accountability and I hope Marble does improve this. I have absolutely no doubt that professionals like Kenya are a major step in the right direction. She promptly responded, completely investigated and resolved my grievances, with personal empathy and care. BEWARE!!! They are the biggest scam. We have paid $1,400 so far and receive no contact from anyone. Any time we call for an update or to escalate not hearing from someone the team ignores us. Our case manager Eric will not respond to us even though we call text and email. When you call their help center they just say they are submitting a ticket but no one actually helps you. We just want our case settled and no one responds. The lawyer is just as crooked and refuses to reach out and her secretary just says she is out of office. They assigned me an attorney who ended up making fun of my religious beliefs (wicca). It made me quite uncomfortable, especially since this person was representing me in a child custody case. They did not file paperwork or follow up with the opposing counsel. I ended up having to switch representation. When I filed a complaint and asked for my money back, they did not respond for a long time, the said they had filed the paperwork and finished the case, which was very untrue. After that, they either changed phone numbers or fired the representative handling my complaint because the number was disconnected and she never responded to another email. I talked to a person that told me that in order to schedule an appointment to talk to an attorney I needed to pay 49 dollars which I did, and the schedule was set for 7 pm cst 12/20/2023 and it is now 8:01 pm cst 12/20/2023 and no call what a sham, should have known better than to trust anything internet based.
