Service was outstanding, the place was spotless, and the food came to the table looking and tasting just like the menu stated. Best wing's I've had in a very long time! It's all you can eat and they have a great selection of dishes; not just sushi. The menu is slightly limited at lunch. No sashimi and fewer special rolls. Paying the extra money for dinner is well worth it in my opinion. Normally you'd think lower quality or small cuts of fish, but Fusion is as good as any sushi I've had in Calgary. Highly recommended.

This is not my original review, and…read moreI wasn't planning on leaving a review at all, but I honestly felt so guilty about leaving a dishonest review that I am editing it to be more accurate. I want to give credit where credit is due, which is why I am giving 2 stars instead of 1. I planned to order the chicken fried chicken, but mistakenly ordered the chicken fried steak instead. Management was understanding of my mistake and agreed to swap for the meal I wanted. However, when I was brought the chicken, it was extremely undercooked. I feel comfortable saying the inside of the chicken was still raw. Again, I understand that mistakes happen and I was not planning on leaving a review at all. At this point I had lost my appetite and was exhausted, so I ordered a dessert. I felt like I needed to pay for something, at the very least. When I finished up and asked for the bill, my server informed me that I was not required to pay anything. Again, I was very grateful and appreciative. However, in place of payment, my server requested I leave a positive review. This is what my original (dishonest) review reflected. This wasn't a simple request, though. My server stood over me, gave me thorough instructions on how to leave a review, and insisted I mentioned him directly. He ensured that I knew how to spell his name correctly multiple times, and offered to take my phone to write it for me. This was extremely uncomfortable. The only reason I came to Denny's in the first place was because I had a difficult day at work and wanted a simple meal. I would have much rather paid the $10 for my dessert than be pressured into lying on Yelp. I would have rather paid for the two entrees I was brought. I've omitted the name of my server but I am sure both he and management will see this, as they seem to keep a very close eye on their reviews. I would strongly recommend you change your strategy when it comes to requesting reviews. I would not have left one in the first place if I had not been strongarmed into doing so. I'm editing my review instead of deleting it because I want people to be aware of what they might experience at this location. I will not be returning to this Denny's and will be mentioning this experience to anybody considering eating here in the future.
