I went to this place because I'm a firm believer to support businesses in Kingwood. Last summer I went there and noticed the marble slab was NOT cold. By the time they made my cone, it was melted and running all over the place. I promised myself that I would not go there. Well I tried it against today. To my amazement, the slab was still not cold. Lucky for us, there was no line, so we were able to make it to the car before it was running down my hand. But t it was still too warm and made my single cone soggy and difficult to eat. When I got to the store, there was nobody by the counter and I had to wait for some guy to come out the back. I order 2 best value cups ($9.24 each), 1 regular cup ($8.31), and 1 regular shake ($9.24). The ice cream was very overpriced for the taste and quality. All the ice cream was icy and tasted like it had frostbite, the ice cream had a grainy texture; overall very unpleasant to consume. The regular shake was also unreasonably priced for the size, quality, and taste. I used to frequent this place before but after today's experience, I will not be going back to this Marble Slab again. read more

VERY STINGY OWNERS! 1. They do not give out samples because the "ran out" of sample spoons. 2. Their waffle cones and waffles bowls are significantly smaller than the other marble slabs. 3. Some of their ice creams are stale. Some have frostbite on them. They do not taste fresh. 4. The owners take the tips and do not give them to their employees . Pretty unethical. SHAME ON YOU!!! Even before covid I'd expect employees to wear gloves while handing any type of food. Now with covid this employees were not wearing gloves nor a mask which she was talking over the ice cream. I understand masks are not mandatory but when handling food in the open and talking right over them you'd think it would be a common courtesy to wear a mask. I definitely will not be back. read more

I went to Marble Slab today and got a oreo shake, it's basically milk with a hint of oreo. He put more milk than anything and barely any oreos .. No whip cream, no chocolate syrup ( like in the pictures displayed on the window and on the menu) My cousin got the birthday one and she asked if it came with any whip cream and he goes "Oh.. you want whip cream?" like duhh i payed 8$ for a SMALL shake!! Nick the manager was rude and I explained I came twice in a week and spent 40-50 range and wasn't receiving points for the purchases. He proceeded to discount only 2.00. He claims that his new systems wasn't allowing him to have customers to receive rewards credit for the purchases and he also was charging for each mixing because he claimed system wasn't updated. This is plain robbery. He also said there system had been like this for 10 days and it wasn't programmed yet. He should be shut down until he is operating properly. I won't be visiting this location anymore. He was also very stingy with mixings. This is not cheap ice cream my friends. I would reconsider visiting a different location. read more

Showed up at 8:41 pm on a Saturday, store hours say open until 10pm. Greeted by 3 looks of disgust by the staff, then one of them rudely says "I do believe the open sign is off" (can you say snarky?) Then another employee says "Yeah we are closed...!" So I pointed out that it was only 8:41 and her response was "well we close at 9, we are out of all toppings anyway." I want to thank Marble Slab in Kingwood, TX for making my Mom's Birthday special. She turned 70 and has COPD, so she really can't get out right now. Her favorite is Coconut Cream Pie, but she told my dad she wanted an Ice Cream Cake I called and the young lady said they don't have that on their menu, but let her take a look at the recipe. She told me she could make it. When I went to pick it up, it was beautiful. I was so impressed. When we got it out for my mom, she was in heaven, she said it was delicious and very refreshing. So, in the future, you want something that is or is not on the menu, it never hurts to ask. I was so happy to see my Mom smile. Thank you. read more

This is my first time going to kingwood location and the lady that was working today is super rude. I soonest I walk inside the store, she say welcome" with her head down, no eye contact, did not make my ice cream the way I want it, requested to add a topping to my ice cream, and she look at me mad, frustrate it. Her whole actitud was rude, so I requested my money and she said " Bro I am sorry to piss you off" . This is a business and therefore they should have employees that make customer welcome, and make the ice cream as it suppose to be. The lady was so rude but the ice cream is so good. Had such a bad experience!! I believe it was Megan and Jerry/Jared working and they were so impatient with my 7 and 12 year olds. My 12 yo misunderstood Megan when she asked if she wanted toppings because she was talking so fast. When my daughter said she was sorry and would like toppings, Megan was so rude and made my daughter feel so bad that she just said to put them on the top. Megan turned her back on my daughter and told Jerry/Jared "you need to take over". My daughter ended up getting hardly any toppings and what should have been a fun experience made both my children feel like an inconvenience. Both mine and my husbands toppings were not cut up so we had one whole big piece of cookie dough "mixed" in. The 12 yr old's cookie dough was handed to her to eat out of her hand. The ONLY reason I didn't walk out was because my son was promised ice cream and had been looking forward to "customizing" his ice cream for the 2 days leading up to our visit. I have never been treated so rudely or made to feel like my family was inconveniencing them. Let me finish by saying that it's not as if we were holding up a line of people...we were the only people in the store. Will NEVER go back. read more

This is my second time into this location and the first was good, which is why they get two stars. However, I just went in and got my normal coffee ice cream with caramel and marshmallows mixed in. The employee was nice and mixed it all in, only problem was the caramel had clearly gone bad! I asked but she said it was fine, so I took a bite and it was very obviously bad! So I asked the owners and he blamed "new employees" and had his wife remake it...she put the same bad caramel in and after telling her that's not how it should be she finally agreed and got a new bag. At this point I asked for a refund and thought I'd just leave without anything, but they told me no. She then got barely enough ice cream to fill the small cup and mixed it with caramel, realized it wasn't enough and just scooped more ice cream on top--still barely filling the small cup. She handed it to me and I asked about the marshmallow mix in that she forgot and she put 6 marshmallows on top of the ice cream. I am so disappointed, I really wanted to support them reopening after the flood but it looks like I'm better off saving my money and getting some blue bell from the grocery store. read more
