They have a limited edition charcoal chocolate flavor that really hit the spot. They don't have a great deal of tables so be sure to grab what you can if there is a line. I dig how they literally open up the scoop and mix things in and then roll it back up. It's an extra step that makes a difference. read more

At first I thought the store was closed because the overhead sign was turned off. Staff are like ninjas, they appear when you walk in and then disappear right after you get ice cream and pay. We came in and the only thing we wanted was the marshmallow creme in our ice cream. Jake was extremely rude, hardly spoke to us, blue all over his mouth, and his hair was down. He proceeded to sigh when my boyfriend asked for the oreo ice cream with the mellow crème included (it's in the description). Jake told us that he would have to fill up the bottle and we said that's fine we can wait or even just get a little on top. he finished mixing the ice cream without the mellow crème and threw the cup on the counter. he then asked what i wanted and i told him i also wanted to add the mellow crème and if he wouldn't mind just getting some, he then looked at me and told me "it's an hour before we close so no i'm not going to." we said okay and we went to pay, the girl he was working with was so sweet and apologized for his behavior. while we were paying he threw my ice cream up onto the counter and walked away. The girl he was with was phenomenal and very helpful. Jake told us he was in a bad mood because he had to decorate 4 cakes today. If decorating cakes mean shitty customer service then maybe he shouldn't be doing cakes. read more

Marble Slab has always served the best ice cream in town, in my opinion. The new ownership is amazing! The interior is super cute. Last night I ordered through Waitr who failed to pick up and deliver the ice cream to my house and waitr headquarters ended up refunding my order. The owner of Marble Slab called me to let me know that the delivery driver never showed up, apologized on their behalf, offered to wait 15 minutes past closing for my driver, and when they didn't show, left the ice cream for me to pick up with a sweet little "have a good day" note. Ice cream is my favorite dessert, but I wont go back to this Marble Slab. The staff wasn't welcoming. After 2 sample tastes, John said, "We're out of sample spoons," The next customers wanted samples and he gave them a regular size spoon. Then I bought a medium size cups at 5.50 each. It wasn't even filled to the top. I paid 17.89 for 3 ice creams, for that I got lousy service and small to medium sized portions.
