He seemed knowledgeable and took the time to show me various floors and had answers to all my questions. I instantly trusted him which is why my disappointment later was greater. I was specifically looking for vinyl floors as I have a senior dog that often has accidents. V said there are waterproof laminate as well and that he would show me what they have and I should focus on the quality of the floor instead of vinyl vs laminate (European being the best) Most of the floors I liked were out of stock so I went with my 4th favorite (laminate). Everything was smooth at the beginning. When I went to see the floors in my new apartment, I saw the box of flooring and to my surprise it had no mention of it being waterproof ... There were few issues along the way so I got concerned and contacted the manufacture directly instead of Phoenix Flooring. The response was that it was not waterproof nor water resistant and that they would NOT recommend their product for my purpose ... It was shocking and totally puzzling. Why would they recommend something completely opposite to what I am looking for and specifically indicated as priority? I was truly disappointed but I was moving in on Dec. 20, 2020 and it will take weeks to order new floors and arrange for installation which was simply not an option for me. On top of this, in one of the rooms they installed the floors in a different direction as to what I asked for. When I called V, he said the installers thought that would look better ... The direction of the floor did not make sense at all and most importantly, there were no discussion with me that they will lay it differently than what I requested for. It was however corrected. They were 3 days late from the initial deadline set which meant I had to move in and deal with the noise and dust for the first few days which I was not happy about. I would like to note that the contractors were all pleasant, worked hard and did a good job. But it is also important to note that there were at least 6 contractors (demolition, leveling, floor installers) + V going in and out that had keys to my place so you need to be aware of that. (keys going around the contractors) Quality of work - 4/5 Customer service - 2/5 Communication during project - 2/5 Deadline - 2/5 Pricing - 3/5 Although the floors are beautiful, my overall experience was rather disappointing.

The shower is beautiful with the heavy glass walls and both a hand-held and regular shower head. The installers were efficient and all the work was done in just one week! I told them I would sign any forms to absolve them of all responsibility and that I just needed someone to come try to clean it one final time. As this is a delicate fabric and would require special care, I believed by there website claims fine and delicate fabrics were there specialty. I was told that I would get a call back. 10 minutes later I received a callback from reception once again and was told sorry they don't do that work.........? ( You haven't even seen the job) I asked if I could talk to the manager she spoke to to possibly explain further and was rejected. She told me she had fully explained the situation already. I then asked if I could please speak to a manager again and she said "Well ........ you could leave your number but I'm not sure when she would be able to get back to you"????? Im sorry but is this how business is done? Your receptionist with no field or sales experience, completely brushing me off before I could even have a conversation with one of the technicians or managers to see if we could work together on a solution to a consumers problem. I am shocked at how this company would allow there front desk person to blow off potential customers before even a conversation. Thank you for showing me that you as a company have no faith in yourself or workers to further expand your business and capabilities. For anyone thinking about using this company I would hesitate. A company that is not willing to do the VERY small amount of work to research or at least converse over a new problem with a potential new customer shows me that cutting corners and taking the easy road is the way this company likes to do business.
