Said that basically all other chiropractors were ineffective and that only he had the experience to actually heal me. Unfortunately my experience was the opposite. Very expensive as well...charged individually for each of three services that day as well when other chiropractors i have seen charged just one fair fee for a comprehensive service. Also very unprofessional in his choice and manner of discussion and banter. I have since found a very good chiropractor who is kind and really seems to care, and does a way better job in healing as well.

I was having major shoulder problems-my left arm would just drop like I'd had a stroke, lots of pain in the front left shoulder. I spent 1.5 years with 2 different local shoulder doctors, MRI's, MRI's w/ dye contrast, X-Rays, weeks and weeks w/ PT, more weeks w/ a Pain Mgmt Clinic, 3 shots of cortisone...still in horrible pain and unpredictable weakness and dropping of my left arm. I couldn't even lift my arm above shoulder height without pain. Finally I went for a massage w/ Carol, massage therapist in Dr. Szekley's office. He looked at my X-Rays and MRI's for about 2 seconds each film. I was getting sarcastic that he wasn't taking my situation seriously. He said, "I don't think it's your shoulder, I think it's your neck." I had plenty of neck movement with no pain and just about lost it with my frustration. He told me very specifically that all of my symptoms pointed to neck issues, specifically between the 5th and 6th cervical vertebrae, probably with a bone spur. I was thinking after all this time w/ shoulder specialists-why did he think he could diagnose....as if reading my mind, he said, "for $10.00 I'll X-ray your neck right now and you'll know for sure." I said, "For $10.00 you're on!" Sure enough-in a few minutes, the X-Ray was done and there it was- a V-shaped space between the 5th and 6th cervical vertebrae and bone spur pinching a nerve. My neck was very straight-no curve to it. He has a neck-correcting device in his office that helps to correct the curve of your neck. Bingo-in less than a year-all pain and weakness was gone. By recreating the neck curve, the pinching of the nerve was gone. I'm back to working out with weights 5x weekly. Now I go to Dr Andy for treatments for my lower back. I injured my back in 4 places when still in my 20's. I need periodic treatments every few weeks to keep it stable, but I'm back to doing things I couldn't do in my late 20's. I'm now 66! One happy camper!

I politely said that I would come on a later day, if the doctor wants to take extra time with his other patient. However, the receptionist wanted to charge me for full treatment. I said "this is unfair", for which she replied that I have to any way pay full price for the visit. I offered to pay for the massage, I repeat I offered to pay, which she declined.
