However, once I got there, he didn't seem to know what to do with me. He asked me if I could get on my stomach... uh, no. Anyone with a single ounce of experience working with pregnant patients should know I can't get on my stomach on a regular bench. He then said, "hmmm, I'll have get creative," which was another mark that he didn't know what to do with pregnant patients! Even though my first experience was pretty much useless, I was in so much pain and desperate so I decided to give this place a second chance. However, the second time was even worse. I was first put on a heat pad for about 15 minutes while he worked on another patient, and then seen by the chiropractor for a grand total of 7 minutes while he was bopping around 2 other patients at the same time. During my 40 minutes in the office, the chiropractor saw FOUR patients total. Clearly not spending that much time with each patient. Office staff and chiropractor are friendly people, but it's clear they double/triple/quadruple book in the same time slots intentionally. Definitely not worth the $ to be seen for less than 10 minutes.

I have had 2 incidents of being in significant pain from what felt like an injury due to the kinds of exercise I participate in and within the 1st wk of treatment, I was returning to those same activities at the same level I was at pre-injury. I would also like to say that you will receive very personalized care because he truly cares that you are free of pain. The office personnel, particularly Susan, are unbelievably kind and accommodating! I can't say enough good things about what I have received here.

I play basketball, practice yoga, run and weight train 5-6 days a week. Due to the dramatic shift in activity, I began experiencing some pretty intense tightness in my lower back. The tightness quickly began working its way into my hips and left hamstring, making it difficult to get out of bed or walk around some mornings. I was extremely worried, because this was the same feeling I had as a sophomore in high school, when I tore my hamstring. No amount of stretching or rehab was enough to fully alleviate the pain, and I was tired of walking around like Quasimodo. I knew I had to do something to get back to normal. I placed a call to Dr. Galzarano's office, because its located just a few blocks from my house. I was happy to find out how easy it was for me to get an appointment, and I was able to schedule the exact time I wanted. His staff is friendly and I experienced next to no wait time while I was there. His prices are also reasonable; you won't have to break the bank in order to get treatment. In regards to Dr. Galzarano, I was impressed by his knowledge and professionalism. After a quick examination and a few questions, he was able to diagnose and treat my problem. He thoroughly explained what I needed to do in the future make sure this didn't happen again-- which due to my lifestyle is a definite possibility. I've been back a few times since my initial visit, and my back/hips/legs haven't felt this good in years. I'm back in the gym and no longer cringe every time I have to sit down to get some work done.

Chiropractic work is of course no "quick fix," but honestly, my husband and I look forward to our weekly appointments like nothing else. It's SO NICE having such an excellent business in the neighborhood and I wish more people knew about it so they could take advantage!! Dr. Rachel has a confident but relaxed demeanor, and is equally easy with carrying on a conversation or meditatively going about her work while you relax. Plus, I am usually afraid of dogs, but like Dr. Rachel, her pet, Charlie, is calm and gentle and easy to be around. Dr. Rachel's adjustments are often more subtle than that of past chiropractors of mine, but they have profound results, from relaxing specific tense/knotted spots to somehow loosening up my whole upper body, making even breathing easier. Since starting with Dr. Rachel about a year ago now when we moved into the neighborhood, not only have my carpal tunnel and overall pain levels have gone way down, but I sleep easier, digest easier, and experience way fewer cramps and headaches. Plus, she lets you pay either by appointment or with a monthly package, which saves you a little money. Go to Mt Airy Chiropractic!!

Some of the concepts could be a little "woo woo" but I am really into that so it's fine. I bought a ten pack and I will be buying another one soon, probably this week. Mt Airy Chiropractic is different in a couple of ways. I was given a detailed assessment and tons of information on my personal treatment plan. Unlike other chiropractors, Dr. Rachel does not just forcefully adjust you and send you on your way. There are some spots she checks every visit, and other areas she monitors as needed. The environment is always very welcoming and relaxing. I cannot complete the review without mentioning CHARLIE. Charlie is a dog who is the mascot/ greeter for Dr. Rachel. He is a sweet boy who knows his audience well. I am always a little cautious about new dog friends and he respected that. We are now quite close and I love seeing him. I believe Dr. Rachel has a ton of knowledge and all you need to do is ask.

My mother recently started attending appointments with Lyceum Physical Medicine within the past…read moremonth and really liked her treatments there, so she brought me to her new patient meeting a week ago. I was offered a complimentary consultation which we scheduled for the next day. I was given a short video to watch about the practice and how it works before Dr. Faust came in to see me. We went over the reasons I was there (lower back pain as well as shoulder tension among other things). After a short exam to see my movement, or lack thereof, I met with Gina. She wrote me a script for an X-ray to see the full extent of my issues and we made an appointment for me to come back in a week to see the treatment plan they put together for me. Today I came in to find out the treatment plan they put together for me. Dr. Faust went over the treatment plan with me and gave me an alignment. Connor had me to some stretches that would ease tension on my spine and lower back. Gina did some small needles in my pressure points to lessen tension. Then Connor hooked me up to a tens unit to get the medicine deeper into the muscles. My consultation appointments took about one hour (first one) and 2 hours for today ( which included treatment). Even though I just started there, everyone is so friendly and really seemed to care about my health and making me 100%! I highly recommend them whether you have any health issues or just want to make sure your body is operating at 100%!

I learned this the hard way. I would give them zero stars if I could. Called and told them I wanted physical therapy for my sprained ankle, scheduled an appointment. When I came in, they told me the pain didn't come from rolling my ankle, but from a hip misalignment, and they wanted me to do x-rays. Since then, a LICENSED physical therapist diagnosed me with a tendon sprain caused by rolling my ankle. Thank God I didn't keep walking around on it, like they would have had me do. Maybe they're perfectly good chiropractors, but I take serious issue with being told that they offer physical therapy (which they said over the phone, told me in person, AND it says so on their website) when there is no physical therapist on staff. They are looking to make money off of you however they can, even by offering services they are not licensed to provide, and milking your insurance (and your co-pays!) as much as they can.

Ultimate Health and Chiropractic Center does precisely this! Dr. Ari is a well-educated and highly trained health care professional who brings tremendous experience to his practice. He treats his patients with kindness, compassion and respect. His examination is thorough and precise, identifying the trouble areas and treating them effectively, efficiently and comprehensively with great care and consideration. Dr. Ari has such positive energy and is very encouraging. I always leave my appointments better than when I arrived, physically and mentally! Of great value to me is the fact that Dr. Ari invests significant time and effort in continuing education and professional development by attending conferences and seminars, keeping abreast of new techniques and medical practices supporting both chiropractic and wholistic health. He is constantly shaping his practice to provide the very best care for his patients. Additionally, I like the fact that Ultimate Health and Chiropractic is a small, hands-on practice. I never feel hurried through my appointment. I feel seen, heard and cared for. This is a rare occurrence in a world where corporate medical groups measure success by the number of patients seen per hour and the highest fees charged. If you need chiropractic care, I guarantee you will not find any better than Dr. Ari and Ultimate Health and Chiropractic Center.
