For dessert, we had the creme brûlée and the profiteroles (which is like a giant fried ice cream dish!), and both desserts were delicious as well. We both had a glass of rose, our entrees, and desserts, and the total bill was less than €60, which I thought was really reasonable for as good as it was! "and what to drink?" A drink sounded like just the thing. So, I took his suggestion of gin and tonics his way and made with his favorite gin, Monkey 47 - Schwarzwald dry gin, from Germany... which I had never heard of before. I watched as he burnt a rosemary sprig and tucked it under the glasses until they filled with smoke, then he turned them over and mixed the gin and some Fever Tree tonic.
