First off, they are great at what they do. When we had our inspector come inspect the house, he was very impressed with their work. He even asked us for their business cards after he finished the inspection. I think that is a very good sign that we got a high quality house. Second, we had issues with our bank getting the mortgage done on time which pushed our closing date back a week. However, Marc and Pat let us do a temporary lease for basically nothing, so that we could go ahead and move into our house. They knew that we had already had movers scheduled for the day after we were supposed to close along with furniture and appliances being delivered that weekend as well. They also had a nice house warming gift for us when we moved in as well. Lastly, even after we closed on the house, they have been very responsive. Anytime that we have had a concern or issue about the house, Marc has sent someone to check on it either the same day or the next day. I have heard from a lot of friends that after they close on the house, it is next to impossible to get any kind of response from their builder, but this is definitely not the case with Marc. Buying a house is such a big decision. When we decided on our house, I couldn't help but wonder if we made the right decision. After working and getting to know Marc and Pat, I can confidently say that I am very happy with the decision we made. Not only did we get a wonderful house, but it always feels great to do business with good people.

As a real client of City Cottage Builders, I can confirm that their product is top of the line…read more Here are some of the reasons why we bought our house from them: 1) the quality of the materials they use is outstanding and they do not cut corners like many builders do 2) they have a strong focus on preserving the neighborhood's charm (not like the other builders in the area) and are respectful to the community and its residents 3) floor plans are well thought to fit any type family 4) their designs are traditional yet with many contemporary accents 5) most of the contractors that work with them have been around for +10 years, this not only tells how experienced the crew is but also, what is the likelihood for contractors to stay loyal for so long to a builder?? They must be doing something very good treating their people. Overall we are really happy with our home and with the whole experience with Marc and his team.
