Each visit has become repetitive--especially regarding my interest in Lasik eye surgery. The answer has always been an immediate "no," without meaningful discussion or updated evaluation. Instead, the focus consistently seems centered on selling glasses or contacts, both of which are noticeably overpriced. Last month, I asked about the new eye drops, Qlosi. Dr. Yu initially told me that I was not a candidate. When I followed up with the office manager, I was told that the doctor had not yet met with any pharmaceutical representative regarding the drops. This contradiction left me feeling misled and disappointed. Honesty is the foundation of patient care, and I should never have to question whether I am receiving accurate information. It has become clear that the priority is sales--not patient well-being. Because of this, I can no longer continue my care with Dr. Yu. My family, several friends, and I will be discontinuing our visits. It's unfortunate to see a doctor's lack of transparency and compassion drive long-standing patients away.
