I love Warby Parker's style in glasses and sunnies. But the customer service here in this store was nothing compared to what I experienced in North Carolina. It was pretty empty with 2-3 customers before us. And 3-4 employees. And no one greeted us. We were waking back and forth for a while, and no one every helped us until I approached someone who was already helping someone. And when I was waiting for her to finish someone finally asked if I needed help. It was a quick transaction. They acted like they didn't care. It was just another purchase. Just when I thought customer service was slowly depleting in Miami, Warby Parker is one of the retail establishments that got my hopes up. I read the reviews before considering this place because I normally go to the big box stores for my glasses. I'm just so happy that I decided to give them a try. I walked in and was immediately greeted by a consultant. No pressure here. He let me wander around after briefly explaining how the pricing works. Frames (with single vision lenses) start around $95 and goes up to $195 for titanium ones. If I want prescriptions sunglasses, just add an extra $100. Simple enough. I love the retro design of their frames. I spent about an hour just trying on different frames cause I just wanted the right shape from my oval face. I selected a couple, Burke and Gilbert. I asked a couple of staff for their opinion and both said go for the Gilbert for my first pair. I handed over my existing prescription, then a technician was called to measure my Pupillary Distance. He noticed that my prescription also had progressive lenses info but it's going to cost an extra $295. I just opted for single vision so the frames complete with lenses were only going to cost me $95. I ordered, paid, got an email receipt and was told my glasses will be ready 7 to 10 business days. I also was given the option to ship them at home or pick up at the store. I selected store pick up and 4 days later, they were already ready. I went to back to pick them up, tried them on and absolutely loved it! The technician also advised me that if I ever need adjustments, just come to the store anytime and they'll do it for free. Simply impressive! Big box stores should pay attention to Warby Parker's practices on how to give the best customer service! When my husband decided he needed glasses, we started shopping around. I had remembered seeing this store and I've heard great things about this brand, so we decided to drive to Wynwood and make a day out of it! For the very reasonable price of $95-$150ish (depending on the frame), it includes an eye exam with prescription given, lenses, and the new glasses of your choice. The price tag you see on each frame is the bottom line price that you pay and includes all of the above! Even at places like Costco, and other discount eye shops- the prices don't come close to being this awesome. The service here was outstanding. We had a brunette girl with braces, and I am so sorry to have forgotten her name. She was lovely, and super easy to work with. My husband knew the frames he was interested in trying on because he looked online, so she brought out those and a few others she thought he'd like. He selected his frame, and she ordered the glasses which are shipped directly to your home in about 10 biz days. Easy peasy, not only in the process, but on your wallet as well. Time has passed and the glasses are very poor quality. The screws come loose or come off and you visit the store and there is no one to help you. The girl who helped me is no longer in this store and the employees who are now there are lazy and have little or no experience. The frames that they sell are good looking but they are crap because they break in less than a year and when you come to ask for help, they tell you that they have neither a screw nor tools to fix them. And worst of all, they don't make an effort even pretending that they are interested in helping you. I bought another pair of glasses and they went wrong because the employee did not want to measure my face or the distance of the eyes because he did not feel like it and I had to spend time getting out of work early and waste time in taking them and returning them, for something so simple; to do the work as it has to be done. Honestly, I do not recommend these eyeglasses brand, unless you just need them for 6 months and to play around. I initially checked out their website, and many of their frames offer a try at home option, but not every style is available so I decided to stop by the store. Customer service here is excellent! Maria helped me out during my visit. I initially was looking for glasses similar to my Ray Bans, but their styles didn't look quite as good on me. Maria then started pulling frames based on my preferences and I was able to find a style I liked fairly quickly. After choosing my frames. They sat me down and began taking measurements of my head with the glasses on. Once they finished, my glasses were ordered and shipped to my home in about 2 weeks. I'm not sure if they have a one-hour wait option for some of their frames like some of the bigger eyeglass companies do, but for the price of their glasses I don't mind waiting the 2 weeks. Warby parker is one of the few eyeglass companies that sells affordable glasses! For $150 you get frames and your lenses. In the USA you can order up to 5 frames at home to try on so you can chose the one you like. In Canada we don't have that option so anytime we are visiting the USA we try on glasses in store and then order on Warby Parker's Canadian website. Even though sales representatives know we won't buy in store since we are Canadian they always give us excellent service, which we really appreciate. I really liked the layout of this Warby Parker in Wynwood, it was spacious and the glasses were laid out in an orderly fashion. Metal frames were placed together and plastic frames in another area. Wide frames were always the top rows, followed by medium in the middle and narrow being the last 2 rows. Beautiful store, excellent service and affordable eyewear! read more

She told me that although their online website selection is seperated by men's and women's their in store collection is considered unisex. After she explained this to me she let me browse the store without being bothered. The store itself is very cool. It's themed to appear that you are in a swimming pool! All the glasses are on a wall in the back and seperated by sunglasses and regular glasses. After trying on all the cute ones I saw (which must've been half of their glasses) I finally decided to go with the Dahl frames. I presented the sales associate with my prescription and my frame selection and she quickly checked me out. My glasses are going to be shipped straight to my house! Their selection was very affordable, the Dahl frames that I chose were under $100 included my prescription lenses! That's interested of! Although they didn't accept insurance there, the associate informed me that I can submit my receipt to my insurance and they might compensate me for some of it depending what insurance I have. Oh Warby, I can't begin to describe how happy I am that I no longer have to order home try-ons and can now stop by your shop whenever I want to satisfy my need to see my face in new frames. I actually went in recently to get a pair of prescription sunglasses because, why not? It's Miami and sunny. And I finally feel "adult" enough to rock sunglasses without looking silly. They have quite a variety of shades to pick from and I landed on a pair that I liked but was not totally sold on. The sales associate who was helping me reminded me of WP's great return policy which basically goes like this...order a pair (prescription and all) and if you don't love them when you receive them, return them for a full refund no questions asked. After that reminder there was absolutely no reason for me not to get them, so I did. A few weeks later I received the frames in the mail and, unfortunately, I was not in love. I wish I discovered Warby Parker far sooner. I ordered the sample box of frames online to be delivered to my house where I could then try on 5 pairs of glasses. Unfortunately, I couldn't find any favorites, so I decided to go to the store in Wynwood since there are so many more options in-store. I didn't just find an awesome new frame for my glasses, I also got new spiffy sunglasses. The service is really friendly, and the glasses are all lined up on the wall, free for you try on any pair that you like. All of the frames for glasses (with prescription) and sunglasses (without prescription) are $95. The sunglasses cost a little more money to get prescriptions in them. The lenses are polycarbonate lenses (a good standard), but if your prescription is a bit stronger than the average bear, they have 1.67 and 1.74 high index lenses which is really great quality. The lenses are also scratch-resistant, and anti-reflective, and all of their sunglasses are polarized. I ordered my prescription glasses online, sent a picture of my prescription with it and they arrived in the mail about 10 days later. I love them and if I get any scratches on them within the first year, they send you a new pair! read more

I came in here and there were three sales associates free and ready to help me. They complimented my shirt and asked me where I got it. I don't know if it was a sales tactic or what, but I'll take a compliment. And besides, I've already been a customer for years. I planned on buying anyway, even if it was the same pair I already had in a different color. The first time around, it was via mail order before they had a location here in Miami. Now I just pop in whenever I get tired of my current pair of frames and want something new. It's nice that you're not beholden to just 6 or however many frames you can pick for home try on, you can try on everything they've got. I was happy for the sales associate's assistance because I get option fatigue. I'll try on two glasses and look at two more and can't tell: "Do I like these? Are these good? Do these look good on me? I don't know." So I told the guy to just pick a few things he thought would look good on me, and I liked most of them. Sometimes I would try on something and say I didn't like it and he would disagree, but I would also try on a pair, say I like it, and he would say, "Those are too small for your face," so I felt like I was getting an honest opinion. He was also a friendly guy. I did bring my mom with me and we narrowed down the choices to two. I tried on both, and I found my pair!! The Hadley frames in opal tortoiseshell. For the quality and style, I think the prices are very good. I've gotten sunglasses ON SALE from big retailers and paid very reasonable prices, but then I get sticker shock when I go to my eye doctor to get prescription lenses which often cost over $200. They have all plastic (or acetate?) frames for $95 which includes prescription lenses. The ones with metal cost $145. I have a very strong prescription, so I pay a little extra ($30) for thinner lenses. If I went to any eyeglasses store in a mall, I could easily pay $200 for frames and another $200 for prescription lenses. I walked out of the store not feeling bad about how much I spent. And checkout was easy too. The sales associate helped me out with an iPad mini so there was no waiting in line (it was moderately busy at the time too, maybe about 8-10 people trying on glasses). PS we walked into probably a dozen stores, and this is the only one where the employees actually complimented me AND offered me help. Everyone else assumed I was poor? Not that there's anything wrong with that. Maybe you need to carry a Birkin in some Wynwood stores to garner a little respect from the staff. Fortunately, that wasn't the case here. read more

If you are one of my kind, we spent thousand of dollars yearly on contact lenses and glasses of course and if you don't have vision insurance the nightmare is even worse. I have two different prescriptions on my eyes one is -6.50 and -6.00 usually is a complete nightmare to get anything cheap and most of the time have to spend double the money, however today was the exception I spent only $175 on the most expensive frames without insurance with the thicker lens!!! $175!!! I'm in heaven I will get as many pairs of glasees as I want at this price, you can get cheaper frames usually starting at $95 and they have many many styles. As far as for their staff they are great this company are doing things right, once I walked it I got immediately greeted and their employee went over how he process goes as far as pricing, gave her my prescription, chose my frame then proceeded to fitting and I was out!! And I completely failed to remember it this time around when hubby was offering to buy me some new pairs. I have insurance so I usually do it through them and the known partners. They also offer warranty on your glasses in case they get scratched within one year at no cost to you. They also have a lifetime warranty for glasses that are bent out of shape/ wonky. Once I found the ones I loved they let me know they would be contacting my eye doctor which was great. My eye doctor actually is with Bascon Palmer which can be a huge pain to get information from. Warby was not able too...being professional they contacted me via email. I was able to send my measurements, I was worried I wouldn't receive my glasses on time for my trip.
