For the most part, Sound Check Bingo has been our go-to where we and a few friends would participate. Beer, food and bingo.....a true win-win. Before coming out last night, I placed a reservation for a table given Fridays would turn out a crowd. Turns out it was the best call since a lot of them were occupied with a big crowd. We ended up with high chairs which wasn't a problem at all. As far as beer goes, I ordered a Light Speed lager which went well with my pizza selection. And Sound Check Bingo was pretty fun with the crowd being engaged. They even had one dude who rapped to Ice Ice Baby. Priceless!! None of us won any rounds, but being out like this was truly worth it. Just like many, many visits, this one did not disappoint. We'll definitely be back soon. Till next time :)

It wasn't completely packed for a Saturday afternoon but staff was really busy with customers. The vibe was one that made us comfortable for the most part. After a few minutes of looking over the menu, we were ready to order. My selection was the Tavern Monte Cristo which consisted of chargrilled chicken and ham as the protein with Gouda cheese and cider aioli fried in a tempura batter with tavern fries. The meal was served hot and ready and tasted great. And having the cranberry coulis as a dipping sauce really added some taste. My only gripe with the sandwich was the amount of protein. I'm not sure if I ate most of it when we dined in, but when I ate the rest for dinner, it was more breading than anything else. Still good but they could've included more. Nonetheless, I was full. The crust was seasoned well and it was just the right amount of cheesy. The patio view is always nice. They didn't like the kids being outside in their patio (freezing, no one out there) etc. The one server was getting destroyed. She had just like 6 tables, but a 16 top. I felt badly for her. Our drinks correspondingly took about 20-30 minutes each time we tried to order. She was nice when she could get to us. At one point a person who said they were a manager, I think she said her name was Hannah, came over and said the kids couldn't be going around (again, I had boundaries not by any other patrons etc. from what I could see they were honoring them, but who knows), anyway she asked if we could keep them by us, which is fine. I then asked her if I could put in a beer and app order as I had been waiting for our server with an empty beer for at least 20 minutes. Instead of taking the order and ringing it in, she said she'd send the server over and disappeared never to be seen again. 5 minutes Iater the server was able to get free from her big table and get our beer orders and food in. Several items were forgot, but at this point we were kind of over it. Just not really your typical relaxed brewery vibe. Felt like they wanted it to be more of a sit down restaurant. That big long story to say it's not a spot for kids. Overall food and drinks are solid. Beer is solidly middle of the pack for Peninsula. Management needs some work.

We've been here several times because it is a good central location for my husband's coworkers to meet. The beer is okay and the staff is average. I wouldn't come here out of choice but they have a lot of events here; we also came for an oyster roast. They have a large outdoor area with a small stage for live music and a food truck. I don't go out of my way to come here unless there's another event going on so I'm sure I'll be back. The positive is that there is tons of parking but be careful when you're leaving because the traffic outside this area is insane! Especially if some road are closed.
