He first said he would be available next day for the job, then said he was only available same day at 50% premium and was busy for next few days. When we asked if there was any discount, he hung up and wouldn't pick up the phone after. A simple no would have sufficed and been alot more professional. In the end it worked out for the best, received excellent and professional service from a St. Catharines plumbing company at significantly less than Universal Plumbing.

I felt their price for the work outlined was excessive but I had no other choice if I was going to get my wife and newborn son back home. With the terms agreed upon they began the work the next day. Much to my surprise, Hypro did not show up. Two Ulraniane fellows, who could barely spoke a stitch of English, showed up and dug a 3' by 6' hole. No equipment, just shovels. I was able to determine that they were sub contractors to Me Rooter, who was contracted by Hypro to do the work. My issue arrises form the fact that the guys did not complete the work as agreed upon with Hypro. After a few calls I was assured that the work would be completed properly. It wasn't. I won't bore you with more details but it wasn't what I was promised and paid for. Hopefully it the pipe doesn't settle too much and stands up to the weight load.

A few quotes later (which beat all others by a lot) and the toilet was fixed same day. Oh, from the time I phoned initially to the time of arrival was a mind-blowing less than60-min - on a Saturday...lols. Another thing, the lady who answered the phone was Super-Sweet and did NOT start with what is your first and last name like the other 3 outfits I phoned previous; that drives me bonkers. Maybe I'm just old as dirt, but I will definitely be using them again for another issue pending, a/c this time. Well done Hy-pro. Thank you.
