I moderated a panel last week and a panelist I was being introduced to said, "yes, the woman with the most amazing head shot." Yesterday morning we did our 5th(!) family mini session shoot with Stacey in a garden next to the Capitol. It's wonderful to get these beautiful shots of our children growing up -- and have some shots with me that I love that aren't selfies! Years ago Stacey took an iconic (among our family and friends) photo of my son sulking off to the left of the Washington monument when my husband and I were were standing to the right smiling while pregnant with our daughter. We had a candidate withdraw their acceptance of their new job, and so we informed Sam a month in advance that we no longer needed his services. He let us know that he "cannot issue refunds" even when work is not rendered. This was written nowhere on the invoice he sent us. Upon review of his website, I see it is buried in his terms and conditions page. Why someone would choose to do business this way, I have no idea. I could not in good conscience take my customers' money and then refuse to refund it even if I performed no work. Sam feels differently.

I got headshots done back in November, and they came out incredible! I was very nervous (tried to…read moreplay it cool), and Moshe made the process easy and comfortable. He gave a lot of tips and guidance. You won't feel rushed, even when you ask a lot of questions, which I think I did (again, I was nervous). I received my photos with the touchups back quickly and still get compliments to this day. The headshots are a great investment, as I tried to take various types of photos that would align with different areas in my life (i.e. nonprofit professional, author, and small business owner.)
