My ex-wife had falsely accused me of domestic violence, she'd promised she ruin my life and now she was attempting to do it. In our first meeting, as soon as Mr. Childers and I began speaking he put me at ease, and unlike some lawyers he was easy to understand, and he took the time to listen to me. I made it clear that I would not plead guilty to anything since I had done nothing wrong, and Mr. Childers agreed he would fight my case until it was dismissed or we won at trial. In court, at our first hearing with witnesses, Mr. Childers was able to cross-examine my ex-wife exposing her lies, it went so well that at the end of the hearing he was able to convince the judge that my case should not be a felony and it was reduced to a misdemeanor, this was a big win but we weren't done fighting. For some reason, the DA would not budge on my case, so we had take my case to trial. I have never been through anything like this before, it is stressful, but it always made me feel good that Mr. Childers was confident in my innocence and in his ability to convince a jury of it too. My trial was nerve wracking but also so enjoyable watching Mr. Childers skillfully expose lie after lie after lie being told by my ex-wife. He used text messages I had given him and confronted my wife with them after each lie, and with others he used voicemails, taking my ex's own voice and using it to expose more lies. It seemed like Mr. Childers was running circles around the DA. Every time the DA tried to do something my lawyer was prepared and knocked it down time after time. As I sat through the trial, especially Mr. Childers final argument to the jury, I knew I could not have made a better choice for my lawyer, I knew I was getting my life back. I was right, the jury took less than an hour (45 minutes) to find me not guilty. At the end of the trial I knew that I wasn't just a case to Mr. Childers but he actually cared, and I'm grateful that he worked so hard to help me. I'm sorry this is such a long review, but so much happened that I don't know how else explain it. Let me finish by saying, I can say without any doubt that if you need a lawyer, you have to hire the best and there is no question that Mr. Childers and his firm Childers & Associates are the best.

In 2016 our son was in need of a family lawyer, we live in Los Angeles and had to attend court in El Centro; searching found Mr. Lenderman and our sons gave him a call. After agreeing to opening a case they emailed him some paperwork and the secretary sent a file with another person's name and private social life to him and billed him for that person's paperwork. He called them back and asked them to send the right application and they did but sent him the application under his brother's name. After fixing the first mistakes and getting his information the lawyer was "ready" to represent him in court. This was an easy case, a young couple whose relationship did not work with a little baby in the middle, our son just wanted to be able to see his baby and pay child support. He received an email with a date and time to show up in court to set up the custody, the drive is over 220 miles so we had to leave in the middle of the night in order to make it on time; we were caught in a snow storm, almost ended stranded in the mountains and arrived to the court house tired, scared and just ten minutes before time. Waited for almost an hour and when the lawyer did not show up our son called his office and the answer was "we are really sorry but made a mistake, the court is not today but tomorrow" What? this was all written and emailed, clearly stated the date and time and they simply said sorry??? Our son explained that three persons had to stop working that day, spent money and drove all the way there for nothing but all she could say was she was sorry. There was nothing to do but to drive back; set up everything before heading to El Centro again the next day; when the case was presented in court there was an argument that our son had seen his baby only a couple of times since she was born, the baby was actually born when they were living together which was several years and our son had been with her the first months of her life; the lawyer had all that information and we were speechless when he decided to just sit there; he did absolutely nothing to represent our son and of course the judge decided that in order to see the baby he had to prove that he was trustworthy. That day we left the courthouse very frustrated, the lawyer said that the verdict was because that judge was on the women side. Did not want to argue with him anymore and later our son called the office and explained them how disappointed we were with his services. Several months and courts later there was no progress in the case, since our son had a lawyer he could not explain his case and Mr. Lenderman did little to nothing to help, his excuse was that he wanted to "take things slow" so our son decided to let him go and just represent himself in court. I am not sure if this is the way family court works but our experince was less than pleasant.
