We went to the top of the boat with an amazing view to barcelona, people were very kind, and the artists were there doing adjustments to their instruments. Few minutes Later, Frederic, the French owner was doing a speech, about safety and presented the band who was about to sing. Boat left the Harbour and live music started. So many energy ! a cool atmosphere where were in the middle of the artist and other passengers. later we had a nice sirloin and Hamburguer on the BBQ and a very nice salad. Service was fast and the food perfect. Nice people. One of our best experience in Barcelona. Thanks to Frederic for his Charming and warm attention !

This is my second trip to Barcelona and I knew after my first experience touring with this them I would be in great hands. They did not disappoint. Jordan was very communicative leading up to the trip and helped plan three lovely, guided days throughout the city as well as a side trip to Sitges. My parents and I loved our time with Zaida and Silvia who were incredibly knowledgeable and took great care getting us to so many of the city's beautiful sites, including introducing us to restaurants off the beaten path. The no rules boat…read more The wife and I took a 90-minute boat tour with Las Golondrinas. The tour gave us a view of the Barcelona harbor, city skyline along the coast, and the shipping port. There was no audio accompaniment, so we had to guess/research what different landmarks were. No directions or safety announcements were given, either. They trust you to have enough sense to not fall overboard. You have a choice between being on the upper deck (better view) or lower deck (protected from the elements). Want to stand at the front or back of the boat? Not a problem. Want to eat or drink? Cheers. On the lower deck you can purchase snacks and drinks (including alcohol), but the staff probably doesn't care if you bring your own. They are so chill. The cost for the 90-minute tour was €15.20 for adults and less for seniors, students and children. There are better ways to spend your money in Barcelona, but we did this tour because it was included in our Barcelona Pass. Can't say it was the most memorable, but it certainly was relaxing!

The cruise was fun and we got a great perspective on Barcelona and the landscape. One of the areas which could have helped is having some sort of audio to go with the cruise. We discovered what every site was by looking it up and going on line but a little guidance would have made this a better experience.

The ride was beautiful as we came closer to Montserrat, the basilica was phenomenal, the market was amazing. I ended up purchasing two delicious cheeses - goat and truffle. The walk to the cross was challenging as we had limited time but well worth it. It's an uphill climb. I loved the family history of the winery. The stability of the family to keep the property in the family for 36 generations since 964 was incredible. The vineyards were started in the 1800's. The ambience was perfect with stone cellars and towers. Great place for an event. Loved it! If you go to Barcelona, DON'T miss it!

This is a small but attractive area of wooded natural park (roughly equivalent to an Area of…read moreOutstanding Natural Beauty in the UK) with good fishing and hiking around the area of the reservoir (Pantà in Catalan) of the river Foix. Covering 2,900 hectares, the park is on the edge of the Garraf Massif, just inland of the Sitges-Vilanova stretch of the Costa Daurada coast. Most of the park consists of a mountainous plateau of carboniferous limestone which rises to around 460m (1,500ft), while the edge of the park on the Penedès plain is formed from sedimentary rocks. For such a small area the park contains great biodiversity. The mixture of landscape, lake and coastal and mountain climate sustains Holm-oak and pine forests, extensive myrtle groves, and rough pastures and vineyards on the edge of the park. This provides a home for an extensive fauna of insects, fish, birds and reptiles. The park is criss-crossed by several long distance walking paths. These provide good hiking for those with reasonable stamina and walking experience: a return trip from Sitges or Vilanova to Castellet will involve a walk of around 25-30km (16-20 miles) and climbs of around 750m (2,400ft). Public transport within the park is extremely limited and the rocky paths include some steep climbs, with few places to shelter or find food or water. In summer, the sun is fierce and temperatures can top 35C in the shade, so spring and early autumn are the best times for walking. Historic interest is catered for in the castles of Castellet (10th century) and Penyafort (12th century), as well as several small hamlets with mediaeval shrines and chapels, while the area is also littered with the remains of old farmsteads, caves and seasonal springs. Trains on line 4 of Barcelona's suburban railway system between Vilafranca del Penedès and El Vendrell stop at L'Arboç and Els Monjos, both just outside the south western and northern extremities of the park respectively, otherwise you'll need your own transport to access the park via the BV-2115 or BV-2117 roads, or hike in from the surrounding area on one of the long distance footpaths. The roads are narrow twisty and popular with local motorcyclists.
