Pro:Clean vehicles from what I saw Con:Driver/Dispatch communications Brakes on my transport were starting to go(grinding noise as breaking) Instead of unloading me closer to entrance(driver side), didn't turn around and unloaded me towards the parking lot ADA: C So, I use transport for almost everyplace I go as I'm in a wheelchair. Their vehicle are clean. I primarily go through my insurance (Molina), who contracts out transport to companies such as this. My driver explained he would be my return driver. Of course appt ran a bit over but was still in my window for pickup. Contacted my driver and was told, he had to take a trip(from this company) for someone else even though I was about to be picked up.... Window: 12:46p - 1:16p Called at 12:48p: Told he would be back in 15min. Called Molina Dispatch at 1:40p. Put on hold then transferred to other associate(s). Told 15 more min. 2:07p: Finally picked up So even though my drivers dispatch knew he was already on a trip, pulled him away and made me wait for over an hour outside in San Marcos. I cannot say that I recommend Mareta Transport. Just didn't feel they have there timing and routes ready for their drivers who do the hard work. read more

On Saturday afternoon 2pm , this driver in unit N3 transporting passengers was weaving in and out on the road, reckless driving. Very dangerous, I honked my horn since he cut in front of me. He descended from the car, stopped all traffic acting extremely erratically and dangerous in my opinion. Not good business, there are a few cameras around that intersection by Southwestern College H and Otay Lakes Rd. that can confirm my claim. If I had my family member in need of special transportation assistance this company would never be a company I would hire, putting public's safety in danger is not good business practice! read more

These are transport for Kids at a school in San Carlos, there are specific directions to pick up kids at this school. Car V-604 was hauling (25mph) in a parking lot going the wrong way to pick up a child. They are reckless and dangerous. This is the not the first driver from this company to haul in the wrong direction. Stay away from this company. read more

This is the most horrifying transportation company I have ever come into contact with. I made it clear that my mother is wheelchair-bound and needs room-to-room assistance. The driver was knocking on the door, waiting for her to GET UP and answer it! I even left a note on the door that she suffered a stroke and cannot walk--just come in to get her. But no, they couldn't do that. They couldn't read a simple sentence taped on a giant piece of paper on the door. Had I not taken a sick day and been home with my mother, she would have missed her dialysis appointment all because the driver did not go inside. When I started wheeling her out, the driver was like "I go it, I got it!"--yeah because he wasn't expecting to see me. And worst of all, when he brought her back he just wheeled her in the living room and left her WITHOUT SETTING THE BRAKES! Again, had I not happened to be home she could have FALLEN out of her chair. I use this company once in awhile. My insurance pays for it. I have a service dog. I have repeatedly had drivers refuse my service dog making me late or miss appts. The Mareta employee ( the driver ), a couple of weeks ago came to pick me up. She was afraid of dogs. But she was honest, talking about her fear and I was understanding. She called her boss and consulted with him, then decided to take me and my service dog, even though she had to bare discomfort.But I would understand if she didn't because fear is real. I commend her and Mareta for not denying me service in spite of the driver's fearfulness. read more

Drivers feel it is appropriate to block access to a company while loading a wheelchair bound patient. The worst part was when I called to report this, the owner yelled at me and then hung up without hearing what I had to say. read more

I spoke with the manager, Evan, today and he was so-- helpful. Unfortunately he doesn't take the insurance that my friend has, but, he chose to take the time to give me many phone numbers and options for me to get the help my friend needs. He could have easily just said "no" knowing he would not make a dime with my call . But, he took the time to ensure I had the names and phone numbers of companies that can help me/my friend with getting rides to her doctor appointments. Thank you Evan! read more

IF I COULD RATE THIS ZERO STARS I WOULD First and foremost I do not use this service, but a neighbor of mine does. They come and pick up an older gentleman serval days a week. Unfortunately this has become an issue with my parking space, the said drivers from this company have come and ran over cones that have been placed to blocked this space next to my parking spot. They've also come close to hitting my vehicles, I've reached out this company and left TWO messages with a lady who claims she will let her manager know. When I called today i was told that she would direct my call to her manager, the call was hung up. I tried calling back multiple times and it either went straight to voicemail or it wasn't being answered. This is by far a horrible company and their drivers have no respect for people's parking spots, people's vehicles and also spots where you are not allowed to park. I had the pleasure of riding with Roni of Mareta Transportation last week. During the trip I discovered my cell phone to be missing. It certainly wasn't Roni's fault and he was under no obligation help me, but he did. Roni drove back to where we started then we tracked the lost phone on my iPad. This car from Mareta Transportation was driving on the wrong side of the road into oncoming traffic, on the opposite side of the center median, almost causing several head on collisions in La Mesa. He pulled out against traffic into the intersection, almost causing another accident. He finally made it to the freeway and cut through traffic, speeding, and driving reckless. Absolutely unreal people like this are actually on the road, let alone driving for a Transportation company.
