We went yesterday 4-1-14 and it was amazing!! I had the chicken chimi which was just right, my husband had the burrito loco and he loved it. Mexican places don't usually have anything our 4 year old will eat but they had Mac n cheese and she was in heaven! Great service, chips and salsa were great. I absolutely loved the beautiful decor. Good food and served quickly. The service was amazing. We were a bit more work with the three kids tonight and they were very accommodating. They even brought the boys fruit on a little swords to match the fruit in their dads drink. Both hostess, waiter,and server were proficient in English and Spanish which is great for my family as I don't speak Spanish and it's my partners 1st language and he enjoys any opportunity to speak it with others. Reviews sounded good so we stopped in on our road trip. Juan was a great server, brought me the remote to select whatever football game I wanted to watch. The Burrito Loco was fantastic and the Mexican pizza was the size of a real pizza (and good). My buddy sucked his Piña Colada down in about 2 minutes and my margarita was spot on. The burrito sauce tasted like it came out of a can and you're left with a metal after taste. The manager is extremely weird, and there were a lot of awkward silences when he asked if I liked the burrito I took one bite out of. Then charged us for it LOL we got charged for a burrito I didn't eat! There's nothing for another 2 hours on i80, I would recommend hitting a grocery store and getting cold cuts before coming here. Read the reviews of this place on Yelp and decided it would be a nice meal out on our road trip in our RV. It was a great decision! We were warmly greeted and promptly served warm chips and salsa. Then we ordered some really tasty margaritas. We each had the "small" chimichanga meal and left very full. Loved the option of having black beans instead of refried. Based on prior reviews, how could we not go here for dinner? We entered a somewhat empty restaurant on a Sunday evening and we were seated immediately. A staff member showed up with chips and salsa which were very good. We were quickly greeted by our server who explained the difference between the house and original margaritas. I chose the latter while my companion chose beer. Both arrived shortly, my margarita in a shaker along with a margarita glass with a salted rim. I poured the margarita and took a taste. Perfect! And I enjoyed it and the second one in the shaker. I suppose you could ask for a second glass, but it was excellent and you might suggest others order their own. Our food came promptly and was very tasty. The five stars should tell the story. This is authentic Mexican fare that is prepared very well. This is a terrific place. We found out from their story in the menu that three brothers started restaurants in Seattle, Colorado, Nebraska and other places I think. Many were sold to their employees. We were passing through town and followed the Yelpers recommendation and eat here. While it is attached to a gas station, don't let it bother you. This is one of the best Mexican restaurants we ate at on our 5200 mile trip. The interior decorations are wonderful and the staff is attentive and polite. The food was wonderful. Service was great, food was simply some of the best Mexican we have ever tasted. Could not finish our meals the portions were so generous. The margaritas looked great also though we did not order one for lunch. Pretty crowded for a lunch hour in here on a Saturday. Heard one guy say they drove all the way from Scottsbluff to eat there and go to Cabela's. Wish it was closer as we would be regulars for sure. Recommended by the front desk staff at our hotel. So glad we listened! This place was fabulous! Their chips were extremely fresh and full of flavor! Their salsa wasn't my favorite but it was okay. I ordered the chicken nachos and they were WONDERFUL! My husband and son got the two burritos dinner. They both said it was delicious and came with a good size portion of beans and rice. Their queso came in a large bowl and only cost $5. Their tamales were delicious as well. Everything was full of flavor and tasted very fresh! As far as service, I have zero complaints. Our waiter, Alfonso, was so very nice and attentive. He did a wonderful job and took excellent care of us. Our portions were large...based upon that, I would say the prices are good. Some people may be turned away because it's located in the same building as a gas station. Do NOT let that keep you away. It is so nice and clean inside. Bright lights and colors! We decided to try Margaritas on our travels between Michigan and Utah after reading the Yelp reviews. We were not disappointed. The atmosphere was a bit loud and the booths uncomfortable, but the food made up for it. I had fajitas and my husband had a burrito. The portions were quite large and the prices were very reasonable. Our daughter had the chicken tenders (sigh!), and even those were pretty good! Our waiter wasn't the friendliest but he certainly did his job! Wow! Margaritas were even super good! We had the chili verde pork burrito with the green chili sauce instead of the enchilada sauce. What a gem of a restaurant found right next to a gas station. My husband and I were traveling cross-country during the last week of June, moving from California to Maryland. We stopped in Sidney, NE along the way, and looked on Yelp for a restaurant. We read all the great reviews for this place, so we decided to give it a try. We were not disappointed. It's a well-decorated, clean restaurant with lots of options on the menu. I had the arroz con pollo, and it was delicious. I had one of the cocktail specials and my husband had a margarita. They were not stingy with the alcohol. The server was friendly and knowledgeable. We fell lucky we found such a great restaurant on a pit stop across the country. read more
