Love this diner is the tiny town of Potter!! The servers were nice and food surprisingly tasty!! I also bought 2 homemade jams from the town at the diner. Highly recommend to stop here if you take the I-80 and close by!

So glad I stopped in Potter NE. The Potter Sundry is a wonderful place. Got a really good apple pecan salad and a huge slice of pie. Nice little park across the street to sit out and enjoy a beautiful day. Was able to pick up home made jams as well. If I lived closer I would eat here every day. Thank you for making me feel welcome in your wonderful town

What a great little gem we happened onto this morning. Great service and really good food. This place is the real deal.

Tin roof Sunday regular size. Delicious!

Loved the food and service and the tin roof Sunday was perfect for this adorable restaurant. If you get sweet potato fries get the marshmallow dip and who knew that spicy cheese curds were better with Caramel? A fun treat for sure. Burgers and sandwiches were awesome. A great place to stop on your journey! Family friendly for the win! The restrooms are across the street and are wonderful and clean.

I stopped here on a road trip as part of my 'no fast food' philosophy. Super friendly and responsive staff. I sat at the counter and watched them putting together fresh ingredient salads and fresh made sandwiches. I ordered the Rueben with sweet potato fries, as recommended by the shop keeper next door. Delicious! The meat was so flavorful! It was cooked on the flattop and chopped up giving lots of caramelization and banging flavor. The fries were cooked perfectly. The place had a locals coming in as evidenced by the staff greetings. Enjoy a small town gem and support the locals.

We stopped by here on the way through Nebraska to get a milkshake. It wasn't very good--too runny and syrupy. However, the service was great and the diner was eclectic and fun. There is one small gas station in town if you are passing through, but it is more expensive than gas in other cities.

We were traveling West on I-80 and were looking for a place to eat lunch when we found this place with good reviews. It sounded so nice and historic that we had to take a detour and see it. It's only a few minutes off the interstate into the town. We walked in an were greeted by a really nice you lady who seated us and gave us menus. They have a fairly wide variety menu and the prices are reasonable. I chose a Ruben with fries which was fixed just right and delicious. My wife got the Bacon, Lettuce and Tomato also very delicious. Their main claim to fame is a huge sundae called the "Tin Roof". We were stuffed but, decided we had to try it. We were going to split a small but, our server talked us into the mini since she thought it would better suit us. A couple sitting next to us got the small and it was huge. Our mini was just right for the two of us. This is an amazing place so if you are nearby do not pass us an opportunity to enjoy a great meal and a wonderful sundae.

The Reuben was well-balanced and flavorful--the corned beef was tender, the sauerkraut added just the right amount of tang, and everything was held together perfectly with toasted bread that had a nice crunch without being too heavy. Each bite had that classic savory, slightly tangy combination you hope for in a good Reuben. The chicken enchilada soup was just as impressive. It was warm, comforting, and packed with flavor. The broth had a rich, slightly smoky taste with just enough spice to keep things interesting without being overwhelming. The chicken was tender, and the overall texture was hearty without feeling too thick. Overall, it was a delicious and comforting meal. I'd definitely come back again, especially if I'm craving something warm and satisfying.

The sandwiches were prepared quickly and we enjoyed them at our picnic. The cranberry turkey sandwich should have been on a croissant but perhaps they ran out the day we visited and it had a different bread that was still delicious. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Parking is abundant and they have drive through service as well. The interior is nicely decorated and clean. Overall there is a welcome vibe to this place.

The restaurant didn't have some items I saw on the website displayed in their menu which was disappointing. Thankfully I decided to ask about it and they said they could totally do it. We're a large family so it was a lot of food but they got the order correct and it came out fairly quickly. The Spicy Jack grilled chicken sandwich with fries and the blueberry lemon shake. My family also tried a few different burgers, pretty sure all the shake flavors, chicken strips and the classic chicken sandwich. Everything tasted really good. They're not just fries--they're golden, corrugated, socially ambitious little carb ladders. They shimmer with a crispy audacity. They vibrate with salty enthusiasm. And the ice cream? Oh. The ice cream is a frosty spiral of dairy mysticism. A glacial, velvety cloud-sculpture. It's suspiciously serene, like it pays taxes and meditates. It stands there in its swirly elegance, cold and judgmentally smooth, radiating creamy composure. When you dip a fry into that polar vortex of sweetness, it creates a scandalous, sugary-saline alliance that feels illegal in at least seven emotional states. The crunch. The chill.
