Margarita's was one of the first Mexican restaurants I had tried in Moultrie. The salsa was delicious, and you can ask them for extra spicy if you like. The drinks were very good. However, the food for that day was super salty. Our entire table's food came out salty. After pointing it out to our server, they remade our dishes, and we took it to go. Not good food but the service is great. The place is like brand new but it is really ashamed that the food is just not good. In fact, it's awful. It's very clean and the employee are very very nice. The service was exceptional and the waiter and waitress kept coming back to the table so they received a 25% tip. The fried chips were good as well as the salsa. They serve Coke products here. We had Coke Zero. The problem was with the beef tacos. The beef meat was way over cooked ti the pint of being dry and burned. It was cut up so small that the pieces probably just disintegrated on the flat grill top. The meat tasted like and old burned grill top that needed to be cleaned. I stopped eating them once I 1/2 tacos. They wanted to compensate me, but I said it was okay and just wanted to get home as my gut was killing me. My friend had the same beef tacos and said the same her 3 tacos. I would not recommend this restaurant for eating food. If you want some chips or a beer or drink that might be fine. Nice place with decent food! The staff were all friendly and our waiter was top notch! We got everything pretty quickly and it was pretty darn good! The best thing about this place is that Taco Bell is across the street. I will say that the place was clean and the staff was polite and the atmosphere was cool........HOWEVER the food was absolutely terrible. If you like canned rice and canned beans and canned beef, then your going to love this place. I'm sorry Margaritas if this isn't true; but it sure tasted like it. I ordered the beef tacos; and I really think the meat was straight out of a can. I guess we should have just ordered margaritas! Lol read more

Thought I would try this place out since temporarily working in the area and staying near it. Service was very good and the margerettas here are very good. The food however is mediocre and was over-salted for my taste. I would recommend coming here for the drinks but for food I would go down the road a bit to Don Julios read more

The nicest things I can say are that the place was clean, the waitstaff was very attentive, and the flan was decent. Both my meal and my companion's meal looked like "Tex-Mex" slop on a plate. The chicken in my enchiladas was dry and tasteless and the salsa on top tasted like it was from a can. My dining companion's chimichanga came with guacamole that was significantly oxidized and gray looking. the refried beans were wet, sloppy, and texture-less; the rice was overcooked. After speaking to a couple locals I've discovered that the restaurant's name is the key to being satisfied with your experience here... 2-3 margaritas and you'll probably ignore the poor quality of the Tex-Mex. read more

It was okay not great. Parking not an issue plenty of parking. We had a bit of a large party about 9. The food did not come out together. By the time I got my food most people were almost done so I had to rush and eat. The management did not comp us anything for this inconvenience. No I did not order anything special just a dish off the menu. I can't tell you how it tasted due to I was rushing it down. So the visit was not a pleasant one for me. Have eaten here several times over the past 2 years I have been in this area. Food was edible but just so. A recent experience ended my eating here. I ordered enchiladas special but it was not anywhere near my past experiences with enchiladas. I am almost 65, and one look at me and you would know I know about food. What they delivered to me was tortillas with melted cheese inside swimming in a watery plate of brownish liquid. Seriously the tortillas were saturated. I pointed it out to the manager who offered to replace it as "Did not meet my expectations" of what an enchilada was. I explained it didn't mean any expectation. He removed the charge but insisted the brown sauce was the way it was supposed to be. A couple of days later I went to old Mexico restaurant and had excellent enchilidas. read more

Monday night in Moutlrie, GA and trying to find something for dinner. The town has a small collection of chain restaurants but I try to avoid chains. So this was the choice. The place had a nice clean Mexican decor; stucco, blankets, etc. The menu had a good variety of choices. The chips didn't seem vary fresh, they weren't stale but they just didn't seem fresh and crisp. The salsa had a very different taste, I finally figured it out...oregano, confirmed by the waitress. I have never had salsa that tasted quite like it. I wasn't sure if I should dip the chips or make a pizza. My co-worker ordered the queso hoping it was better and well it was really just melted white cheddar. The chips, salsa, and queso had us worried about what the dinners would be like. I ordered a frozen margarita and was disappointed, it was bland. The surprise was the meal itself, I ordered the Chili Rellanos they were pretty good. A little mild but still tasty. It didn't come with rice or beans but a plate of lettuce, guacamole, and few tomato pieces they called it a salad...it looked like a table garnish more than a salad. Your options in Moultrie are pretty slim and I don't think I would go here again. read more

The taco tasted like fish, the beans and enchiladas like something indescribable. The chips were hard and tasted stale. Server took entire plate of food, brought bill. When the cashier asked how everything was I told him it was nasty this visit. He asked if I'd like to speak to a manager, I told him no because the food was already thrown in the trash can, and he wouldn't know that I wasn't lying. I'd give this 3.5 stars if I could. We went with a pretty good sized crowd. All of our food came out quickly and was as good or better than usual Tex Mex fare. The pitcher of margaritas were quite tasty and didn't have that typical syrupy aftertaste one might find in typically find in such pitchers. We love this place! My husband always gets enchiladas with steak fajita meat. I get nachos with ground beef and my son gets the nachos with chicken fajita meat. It reminds us of our local Mexican place back home. We are here in Moultrie for my husbands job. The queso is delicious and my husband likes the red salsa. read more

I don't understand all the negative reviews. This place is amazing! Went there a few weeks ago with my son. Me and my husband ordered the Alambre (steak) for lunch and my son had the chimichanga (chicken). The food was out fast, fresh and hot. Of course the salsa is rather plain, ask your waitress for something spicier like we did and you won't be disappointed. The atmosphere is amazing here- beautiful arches and art. Overall the food is great, atmosphere is great, and the wait staff are very friendly and fast. Always keeps my family coming back. read more
