I also like how it has a glass door (wave to open) to separate the treatment areas from the reception waiting area. This place is where you can get massage therapy and acupuncture treatments. Each room is relaxing with tranquil or spa music being played (playlist is dependent on each practitioner). There is a basket to put your clothes and phone in the acupuncture treatment room. I see Dr Koh for acupuncture and she is wonderful. Very caring and she listens to your concern. In the past, I dislike needles so she usually uses baby needles or does more cupping on me. Now I still dislike needles but can tolerate them more, so I think she uses the regular needles on me now. Besides just cupping and acupuncture, she is a TCM, so she also takes my pulse to check how my organs/body are doing. She has suggested taking supplements and medicinal tea or avoiding certain food to help with the ailments. The front desk staff is always very friendly. Paid street parking out front. I called to ask to reschedule the appointment as I had to walk to the clinic and did not want to get sick. I explained that I had had pneumonia several times before and did not want to be exposed to the elements, especially with COVID around. First, the receptionist was nice enough to accept me at the last minute, only 40 minutes before closing time knowing that she would have to stay after her usual closing time (I was a first-time customer). I had a slightly displaced rib that was causing me pain and restricting my breathing. It was turned into an emergency because I had to leave Canada to visit my family for two weeks! The chiropractor was not there but the massage therapist said she would try her best to massage and stretch the rib back in place. I was impressed that after a very relaxing and efficient 45-minute massage I felt no more pain and my rib was back in place! She is very cautious about not hurting you when massaging and has a very calm and focused attitude. I only wish they were a little cheaper or a least make my $20 reimbursement procedures easier. I ended up paying $75 from my own pocket and still don't know when I will get my $20 back from my MSP.
