The food was so delicious and fresh. Everything from the rice to the hummus to the fresh vegetables made our tummies feel so happy and good. The employee was super friendly and helpful and made sure to keep the menu updated with what was sold out and made good recommendations. It was windy and unfortunately he had to deal with it blowing in his face. This is gonna be a regular stop for us, I'm sure. The Yalla Feast is something were already planning to get when all 4 of us (with the kids) are gonna eat.

I got the chicken shawarma bowl and the shawarma fries to try and have for lunch the next day. My friend got the loaded hummus plate and the dessert. The dessert was like baklava but with chocolate drizzle and cinnamon powder, not super sweet at all, more of a tang taste for sure. The shawarma was amazing and everything was super filling. The fries will probably be my new guilty pleasure! The bowl was also amazing and less of a guilt because there's plenty of veggies and fiber. The sauces they use are also just chefs kiss. The hummus was also incredible, you can tell they make it in house and it's super authentic. As a middle eastern it's not easy to come by good food that hits the spot like home does, so thank you Yalla Shawarma for providing amazing comfort food! The service was also great, we ordered online and the food was ready on time. Can't wait to be back!

While looking through Yelp for another option, this food truck popped up a few blocks from our location. We have tried a few food trucks in Santa Fe. The experience was good so we thought why not. We pulled into the lot to see a vacated building. Nope that wasn't it. Around the other side was a brightly painted food truck. Cars kept coming into the lot. A good sign. The owner spoke little English so my high school Spanish came into play. To be safe we ordered one taco each; chicken and beef tacos. More people pulled into to pick up orders. The owner gave us a pager while we waited. There is nowhere to sit so be prepared to take it away. The food was hot, came with a side of beans and radishes. We also got a Mexican soda which was interesting. These are street tacos and the size is small for what you pay. He also offers tortas and enchiladas. The food was good and surroundings were subpar. The truck is permanently there based on the flattened tires.

I went with several different tacos and they were all really good. Totally different from what we get in Houston Texas region but they were good nonetheless. The hot sauces were absolutely full of flavor, made to order, and absolutely spicy. They were extremely hot actually. We only could use a little bit of the spice because it was so hot. But very good for sure. My girlfriend went with a hot dog, and she absolutely like that as well. It was totally different but very good. Very happy. We stopped off at the taco stand. Very unique food at a decent price. The customer service was OK. Not the greatest but not the worst. They were busy so I guess that's probably why.

My taste buds desired a break from the New Mexican food, but alas the Kebab Caravan is heavily influenced by the New Mexican-ness (using a flour tortilla for a wrap instead of the traditional pita). The food is NOT bad. But just okay. Doner Kebab Wrap for $10 - definitely Santa Fe price influenced. Service is fast and everyone that works there is great. I guess being nice I would give this place 4 stars, but I'm comparing it to my previous experience with Turkish food I have to drop it to a 2. Honestly - if you're around this truck then try this place out. I can't blame the cook for changing his recipe in order to please the palates of this area. It's not authentic, but I guess could pass as something different from the over abundance of New Mexican restaurants. Give it a shot, seriously. Especially if you've never been exposed to Turkish food - then definitely try this place out!
