I was also told that I could still see other counselors within the practice but upon calling and asking how the process would work they would need to know the reason why it didn't workout with my first counselor to see someome else I just overall felt a complete lack of care and empathy for my situation. Plus the abandonment of not getting resources sent to me put me in a downward spiral. I would never come back to this place again.

First time for the new patient appointment and then the next for a actual counseling visit. They've already canceled his scheduled appointments 3 times and on the day off. We work full time jobs so we schedule our days around appointments and things. My husband hasnt gone for weeks because they didn't have anything available. But he had his appointment scheduled for today at 4. They called him at 12:15 to see if he could come in sooner but he told them he couldn't he was busy at work and couldn't leave. They said that was fine and they'd see him at 4. Then they called him back 5 mins later saying that since he couldn't come in sooner they'd have to cancel his appointment. Because Gloria the counselor had her own appointment to go to so they needed him to come in sooner so she could leave. Then why did they schedule him this appointment time weeks ago?!? Sounds like to me she didn't have anything scheduled and didn't want to wait around until his apportionment. I get it things come up. But a 3rd cancelation in a few short months of going to them....? And other people's reviews say the same thing. (Too bad I didn't see it until now) Obviously counseling is pretty important when you need it and trying to go on a regular basis is important. This is all taking away of the actual part of going. Makes it stressful and very unorganized. Don't go here if you if you work a full time job and actually want to be seen at your scheduled time.

My child spent 3 years in sessions with Skylar Haak, in the midst of a custody case. For 3 years my child poured his heart out to Skylar. My son had to begin reunification therapy with a parent who's been absent for many years, she stated he was seeing too many people and pretty much dropped him as a client. Skylar was subpoenaed for court, and instead of stepping up to do what she signed up for...she sends a letter in response requesting 2,000.00 in exchange for her appearance. Management had a lot to do with the letter. Skylar surprisingly showed up to court, and my lawyer asked her if there would be a bill for her being there... she stated "I mean yeah, someone has to pay because I'm missing out on money, and I really don't want to be bothered by any of this" I told Skylar she could leave, she stated "great" and "good luck" what a slap in the face. Please if you're going through any type of custody/ litigation please find another agency that will stand up for your child. Your child deserves it. These things happen. Less than a week later I'm at work and I get a voice-mail. Due to another, "scheduling conflict," my appointment had to be re-scheduled and they went ahead and rescheduled prior to asking me if the new time was okay, which it wasn't. Go ahead and book an appointment with these people if you'd like. Just don't expect to keep the appointment.
