I contracted this Mariachi with a signed contract and deposit on 6/1/22 for a Quinceañera in May of this year. Yesterday I got a text messaging at 10:19pm canceling on me.........8 months later. Stating they double booked and the other party booked before me. Totally unacceptable. So it took Christopher Rubalcava 8 months to notice he double booked? I do not believe him. I am beyond frustrated, disappointed and stressed out because now I have to look for another mariachi that when I did my due diligence and booked almost a year in advance, and they canceled on me four months before my event. That is just ridiculous. They may look good on Yelp, Google, Instagram. But when this happens to you, don't risk it people. Look elsewhere. read more

The guests assigned to that table were just arriving and seeing their puzzled look when they saw the mariachi at their table was mortifying. Had they asked me if they could grab a plate after their performance, absolutely please grab a bite. The music was great but the lack of professionalism overshadows it. I booked this group for my mom's birthday party this past weekend. The only rough part was there was initially a small disagreement on a deposit; however Chris was easy to communicate with. (I think they need to put a clause in their contract regarding this.) This was the only issue since everything else was awesome. Paying them electronically was very convenient as well. I would say that these folks are very unprofessional if they text the same day to try and change the time when there is a contract already signed with said time 6pm -7pm. Second of all to have the audacity to use the current situation of COVID as their excuse to CANCEL!WOW! They were exposed yet they kept performing and are still putting on performances. SHOULDN'T YOU BE QUARANTINED? If it was such a concern the night you were supposed to play at our place why would you keep up with your performances. It really upsets me that they would do such a thing. Please be awe that they supposedly exposed on Feb.13 cancelled on me Feb.14 but if you were to go on there Instagram they are still booking performances for this weekend and still performing during the week. Seriously just next time if it's to far from where you are located just say it's not possible or you are booked! Update: yea I understand but even so if you were exposed you have to test 4-5 days from The day exposed not the next day so you yourself could still be exposing others if your results were a false negative. read more

Hired this group for a surprise party for my mom. I sent a few messages to different mariachi groups for pricing and availability. The pricing seemed to be within the norm for mariachis. I was happy to learn they did not have a 2 hr minimum. Due to the pandemic, I had a small outdoor garhering for lunch and wanted to keep it short and safe.. Chris responded right away and answered all my questions. He sent me a contract and asked for a small deposit. The day of the performance they were 15 minutes early and were a hit with my family.
