I don't write reviews. But I'm making an exception. Booked them for 2 hours (5p-7p), they showed up at 4p! A courtesy call or text would have been appropriate! Had no choice but to start them early since the mariachi guy was somewhat insisting. I had previously given a song list in the order I wanted the songs to be played. Mariachi guy went rogue on the song list. I kept reminding him to stick with the list. Dude was everywhere! Btw: the two hours I paid for became less since the mariachi took a 15 break. I'm cool with that but let me know when I book them. They don't make up the 15 minutes. Also, I thought Jesus who I booked the mariachi was the actual person coming. No he hired other mariachi's. Again let me know when I book that you'll be sending someone different. Lesson learned? Next time ask more questions! read more

What a great group of guys, there music was awesome, my employees loved the music, they sang along with the band and had a great time. I booked this band early March for my event yesterday 5/25/19. I followed up with them a week before the event and they confirmed that we were good to go. Then the day of the event they cancelled claiming that something happened to one of the musicians and that they were cancelling all shows that day. It's supposed to be a 7 musician band, I booked them from 7:30pm - 9:30pm, and it's Memorial Day Weekend. Put two and two together, it's pretty obvious that they bailed for a higher paying customer. You don't understand how stressful it was to find a replacement band, last minute, on a holiday weekend. So is this review about the service they provide? No, I'm sure they're great, that's why I hired them. This review is about their integrity, book them because they have rave reviews but BE WARNED, they might bail on you if something better comes up. I ended up booking another band, Mariachi Senorial, that had 9:30pm available and we had a wonderful time. They were a smaller group but they sounded great, costed less, but most importantly - they kept their word. They're already hired for our next event because I know I can trust them and I won't have to stress about it. Very disappointing experience, hope this doesn't happen to anyone who reads this and books them anyway. read more

Jesus and these musicians are dressed sharply, their instruments are beautifully taken care of and their performance is simply captivating! If you love mariachi music, ask this group to play "El Nino Perdido" (the lost boy). They play it beautifully! I cannot wait to book them again! Most importantly, their customer service is top notch. After listening to many mariachi groups on IG, I finally booked Mariachi Tecuala because they sounded great and very professional. I reached out to them, they were available on the date I needed them so I sent my deposit right away to secure them. The day of my event comes and they send 5 musicians, which NONE are in the group. These musicians they sent were amateurs. They never even said they were going to send a different group and not actually show up themselves. When I reached out to them to get an explanation I was able to see that they read by message on IG but did not reply. VERY unprofessional of this group to do something like this. If you aren't sure about which mariachi to hire, this mariachi is it. I am the pickiest person when it comes to music, that I even went to see them rehearse because a video wasn't enough for me, and I had to make sure they knew the songs I wanted them to play for the party. The moment they played the first song, I knew I had found the mariachi I wanted for my fathers 50th birthday celebration. Booking them was not hard at all and they were very trustworthy and friendly. On the day of the party, they arrived on time, dress professionally and blew my guest away. All night I kept getting compliments on my choice of mariachi. Hired them on 9/26 for a funeral in Rose Hills Memorial Park Whittier. Jesus and his crew did an amazing job in celebrating my father. They showed up promptly, found the burial location and played based on the timing we gave them on the fly. I sent them a list of songs, they played them perfectly and added a few other songs with a similar theme. They were also patient with Father John as he blessed the casket and stood by patiently. I hired Mariachi Tecuela for a small event. The hiring process was done via text messaging, which involved no contract. We agreed on a price of 5 musicians, which is what I had paid for. However, on the day of the event, only 4 musicians showed up. I was not given a refund even after asking for one numerous times. Two of the musicians deliberately drank almost a whole bottle of tequila that was meant for the guests. I offered them a drink not the whole bottle. I will not hire them again. read more
