I hired this mariachi group for my mom's 90th birthday celebration at our home. Before arriving, the leader called to let me know they would be a little early, which I appreciated, and they arrived as promised. I had provided a list of songs in advance, and they began performing them. Unfortunately, right away we noticed a loud echo or feedback coming from the speaker. It was distracting and made several of our guests uncomfortable. I politely asked if the volume could be lowered or the echo adjusted. He made an attempt to fix it but said the speaker was controlled through someone else's app and that he couldn't control it. I've never experienced that explanation before, and regardless, the issue remained. I was disappointed that the volume wasn't simply lowered to make the performance more enjoyable for everyone. Later in the performance, one of the young children at the party (a 4-year-old who was running around, as children often do at family gatherings) accidentally bumped into the microphone, causing it to hit the performer's mouth. While I understand that wasn't pleasant, the comment he made afterward about the incident made our family and guests feel uncomfortable. Because of these issues, I decided to end the performance early. Even so, I paid the full agreed-upon amount. While they arrived on time and initially communicated well, the overall experience was disappointing due to the unresolved sound issue and the way the situation with a small child was handled. Be cautious of this Mariachi business! They are un organized and non reliable. They cancel week of event! Last month my family hired them for an event they cancelled on them the week of. This month they were hired for another event. When my aunt wanted a confirmation they had reserved her for the incorrect date (even after a deposit was made). Their response was they were not sure they would be available for the date & time they booked. Even though it was their error and my aunt already had received a confirmation. In the end they told her she was confirmed however 20 minutes later they cancelled on her because the time she had previously had been confirmed "was not available". Lucky enough, I did not get fully scammed. I reserved this mariachi group about a week before my mom's 50th birthday because I wanted to surprise her. I found them on Instagram, their page looks super professional, and their attire in the photos and videos looked really nice. I reached out for pricing and availability and was quoted $550/hour with a $100 deposit. I also contacted a couple of other groups, and their prices were around the same. I was honestly obsessed with this group's red and white suits, so I decided to move forward with Corazonsito Lindo. Luckily, they did show up! 10 minutes late, but they arrived. However, they did not come in the red and white suits I saw online. Instead, they wore the basic black and gold outfits. I was also expecting microphones and speakers like in most of their Instagram videos, but they didn't bring any of that. They sang, but they didn't seem to know many of the basic mariachi songs. My little brother (he's 10) kept asking for "La Cucaracha," and they didn't play it until the very end, only after I specifically asked them to sing it for him. One of the members had to look up the lyrics. They also left a few minutes before the second hour ended, even though they had arrived late. If anything, they should have stayed a bit longer to make up for it. Overall pros- They communicated a couple days before the event, confirming date time, location and balance. Cons- in addition to the already mentioned; they didn't have much charisma. They performed with serious expressions, no interaction, no jokes, no energy. They were just okay. Afterward, I got curious and decided to do more digging. I came across several Yelp reviews, and the phone number shown in one of the review photos matched the number I had been communicating with. That same number is also linked to the "Mariachi Corazon Latino" Instagram page. So this is definitely the group that I contacted and the group that showed up. read more

Stay Away - False Advertising and Broken Promises I hired this mariachi for my wedding after seeing their social media and YouTube videos. They promised they could perform my custom song list in order, with two violins, multiple trumpets, microphones, speakers, and the same musicians shown in their videos. On my wedding day, a completely different group showed up. None of the musicians matched the people they advertised. They arrived with one trumpet, no violins, and no sound equipment. When I handed them the song list they had asked me to print, they told me they didn't know several of the songs they had already promised they could play. I was then told the original mariachi "had something else to do," so they sent this different group instead. It felt like they advertise one mariachi online but send whoever is available. After the third song, I contacted the person I had been dealing with. They texted that they were driving and would call me back. They never did. I continued calling and texting and never received another response. This happened on one of the most important days of my life. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this mariachi. I recently hired this mariachi for a memorial service and was also considering them for my daughter's quinceañera. Unfortunately, the mariachi group that showed up was not the same one I saw on their social media. When I initially hired them, I sent over a list of songs, two of which are not traditional mariachi songs, though I've seen other mariachis perform them. I expected that if there were any issues with those songs, they would let me know in advance or at least ask for time to practice. When the group arrived, the lead musician asked if I had a song list. I reminded her that I had sent it when I booked them. I had to ask twice about the songs they skipped over, and only then did she mention they could attempt one, but the other was definitely not possible. This left a 20-minute gap without music, which affected the atmosphere of my wedding. We hired this Mariachi in January for my daughter's Quinceñera on 5/18/24 with plenty of time and information they needed. Later that evening a woman called and stated that they were going to show from 7-9pm instead of our 4-6pm arrangement due to them double booking another event. HORRIBLE MARIACHI! DO NOT HIRE! I made the terrible mistake of hiring this mariachi for my wedding on 4/13. Communication was okay in the beginning with Kevin Ramirez. I gave him all the information for the day of, deposit and a list of songs we were requesting for that day since I knew I would be busy. The day of the wedding, the mariachi was LATE 45 minutes. My day of coordinator was calling them for an estimated time and the only answer she got was "we'll be there soon". This completely wrecked the schedule we had already in place for months. I had originally booked them for 2 hours (6pm-8pm), given their late arrival I told the coordinator to have them play only one hour as we have other entertainment lined up and the answer she got was no. My husband talked to them and they told him if they play for 1 hour we have to pay them for 2 even though THEY were late. Our other option was to have them play the full 2 hours (and interrupt our schedule). We kept telling them we'll pay them for the hour they played if they could just leave at 7:45pm (exactly one hour of them playing) and they adamantly refused. So I called the person "Kevin" who I was in contact with previously, and never got an answer. I called him multiple times (during my wedding reception) and texted him and never got a call or text back. On top of this whole ordeal, they didn't have the song list I had requested. They would wait around until someone requested a song and appeared lost. The mariachi they sent was extremely unprofessional, rude and unprepared. The mariachi that was sent is not the young mariachi that Is advertised on instagram or their website. They send the older mariachi that have trouble standing, chew gum while playing (and have it fall on the floor) and don't know typical mariachi songs. Save yourself the trouble and don't hire this group.
