I hired this mariachi group twice . First time was for a serenade, second time was for my moms birthday party. Both times they did an amazing beautiful job! The musicians all had an amazing voice and played their instruments beautifully!! My entire family had an amazing time with them. How can i start off OKAY so this group of mariachi was hired for my event I had gave them a 1 month notice in advance and made it clear that it was very important to me to communicate if by any given case they couldn't Comply with our commitment, Mind you I had a scheduled set up for my event the mariachi was first thing in the list. This man Jesus calls me literally 10 minutes before my event started and tells me he was not going to be able to make it and they canceled on me last minute I was blown by the situation I couldn't wrap my head I round it, what was I going to do next?? According to them he had car issues and little do you know is that is a small world that same day they canceled on me they were at another party playing lol crazy right jesus really did a number on me (what a dirty move jesus) Ps I asked Jesus to please send someone else on their behalf to substitute them worst part is that he said he would call me back asap And I never heard from him Again. Spoke to this Mariachi on many occasions. Had them booked for a Quinceañera for June 2020. Unfortunately, because of the pandemic we had to postpone. Kept in contact with the main gentleman Jesus Fausto, and updated him throughout the pandemic. Quinceanera turned into a sweet sixteen with a new date of june 2021. Spoke to him in April 2021 we both agreed on the date and time of contracting. Twenty days away from our party date I call to confirm all the info and date. He then tells me he no longer charges the same price pushing our price $100 per hour. We agree on the price and says he will call me back Never calls me back and I decide to call. When I call he tries to change my hours and for us it's impossible. So, he tells me to look for someone else. The lack of unprofessionalism and disregard is unacceptable. read more

The worst mariachis ever! I hired them for a wedding and everyone waited for them with great anticipation. We waited and waited and waited... They showed up more than 30 minutes late. Their excuse for being late was that they were coming from another engagement and there was heavy traffic. Then they had the audacity to leave 30 minutes early claiming they had to get to another engagement. Their music was soft and not at all festive. In fact, you could barely hear them. Mariachis are supposed to be loud and festive not soft and somber. What a disaster these guys were! Absolutely horrible! Save yourself the aggravation! read more

I hired Mariachi Alma viva for my wedding only 15 min timeline I had was very short, they quoted me 325 and the day of the event they charged us 375 . I did not like the dishonest quote. Although they were exactly on time showed up at 7:55 and the time needed was 8:00 pm I was very happy about that. There were 5 mariachis dressed in synchronize and in white and where very professional and the lead sang beautifully. Overall was very happy, I asked them to bring a Mexican flag for a nice touch , and they did. I would hire them again but next time make sure I print out the quote and have it for the day of. read more

Quick response, good price and flexibility on pretty short notice. Jesus was able to put together a trio for my wife's 50th birthday at a local restaurant with about 2 days notice. They played the songs I required and added a couple extra based on requests. It was about a 25-30 minute serenade that my wife loved and the restaurant owner loved too. Of particular note, given the smallish size of the restaurant was Jesus' light touch on the trumpet, so that the music wasn't too disruptive in a smaller venue. I will be hiring them again! I hired these guys for my daughter's wedding. They showed up 40 minutes late to the ceremony with a poor excuse given by Jesus. Their voices are very soft and we could not hear them very well. It was very noticeable that they forgot lyrics and completely messed up here comes the bride. The guest criticized them and stated that this is the worst mariachi band. Jesus quoted me a price of 350.00! and a week before the wedding changed it to 380.00. I should have known then that they are a big mess, irresponsible, and lack integrity. I also hired them for 2 hours and they left after 1 1/2 hours claiming breaks. I do not recommend this mariachi band. read more

We booked these guys for our daughters 18th birthday party. Literally 15 mins before they were supposed to show up, my fiancée texted them to let them know what song to play when they came in. His response was that they can't make it and need to cancel. No explanation nothing. They just said they can't make it and sorry. That's it. 15 mins before they were supposed to be here, with our daughter and all of our guest here waiting. And to make it even worse, They didn't even contact us to tell us they were canceling. My fiancée messaged them first and only did we know they canceled is when they responded to her text. I have never had this happen to me in my life. If my fiancée didn't message them first they would have been a no call no show. I would definitely not recommend these people to anyone unless you want to risk them ruining your party like they did to us. After leaving this review one of them messaged me and said "I told you we couldn't make it. What don't you understand about that." Very rude and unprofessional. Do not use these people. read more
