They were the only part of my wedding that actually showed up on time and were absolutely amazing and professional. From the time they showed up, they started outside where most of the party wanted to stay inside because of how cold it got. They were not hesitant and moved inside and put on quite the show. Despite the party size they treated it as a large event and gave their full effort. They didn't skip a beat and knew every song that was requested - no cell phone reading or guessing. By far the worst experience I've had with a Mariachi. I contacted Alejandro in June for an event that I was having in August. From the beginning it should've been a red flag when I had to chase him around to book him and ask about payment and he would take days to respond. I had gotten his information from a close friend. That close friend had given me a price of $475 as they had just had their event a couple weeks prior. When I booked with Alejandro he had told me it would be $500. No problem, it was only $25 more. The day of the event I texted to confirm and he told me he would actually be showing up 40 minutes later than the original contracted time. I decided this was ok as it was too last minute to book someone else. 4 hours before the mariachi was supposed to arrive I received a call from a different mariachi letting me know they had overbooked and would be an hour late but he was trying his best to clean up the mess. While talking to the new mariachi he asked me how much Alejandro was charging me and I let him know the price I was given was $500. The mariachi went ahead and told me he would honor the rate originally given. When the mariachi arrived to the event he asked me again how much Alejandro was charging because he stated Alejandro was telling him to charge me more. I let him know it was ridiculous given that they showed up late, flopped mariachi groups, lacked communication and offered to show the texts of the original rate as proof. The mariachi agreed to keep the original rate of $500 despite Alejandro stating to charge more. After their performance we ended up paying $600 with original rate and tip included. To conclude, I would think twice about booking with Alejandro as he consistently switched his prices, lack of basic communication, and is incredibly unprofessional. read more

Boñita noches!!! The absolute best mariachi band north of the Sinaloa Desert!! They JAM... period! It wasn't the 6 bottles of Don Julio or 500 Coronas either:)... we had 2 sons graduate college and they'll have an incredible experience to remember!! Señor Alejandro Carrillo... on the trumpet, his boys busting out the Bass, viuela & 2 violins etc ...no breaks ... 1 hour straight!! He said 5 band members and more kept coming outa the van... I scheduled hours before the party and they showed up on time perfectly at Twilight... it was so amazingly beautiful! Just keep feeding them cevrvesas and they'll jam all night. So talented!!
