Eventually a mariachi band showed up, but a different one than the one I contracted and two hours later. After they didn't arrive i contacted the person and he seemed to be scrambling to get someone to my place. It was for my mom's birthday and it was a surprise so I waited. The mariachi that showed up did a good job and my mother was happy, but she didn't know about the surprise or what time they were supposed to be there. So, I would not recommend because you can't book a service and hope for the best. Booking a Mariachi is a big deal especially for an important event. Oh and because it was a different Mariachi it was more money than expected. The pros: initially great communication. He did answer the phone when I called. A mariachi did end up showing up eventually. The mariachi that showed up did a good So, if you want to roll the dice. BAIT & SWITCH!!! I hired this mariachi for my nephew's wedding and gave the band leader, Richie specific instructions. One simply instruction was that we wanted the mariachis to wear beige because they were going to walk in with the newlyweds at the reception. Well come wedding day, they show up wearing black and gave me a lame excuse that the beige suits cost to much money to clean. They also showed up with 5 band members instead of 6 as previously contracted. Plus it wasn't even the same band members that are on this Yelp page. They were almost an entire different band and the trumpet player was horrible, off key, and just bad. It was a joke and people were laughing. If you're having a back yard party where everyone is drunk on tequila then it probably won't matter. But if you're having a wedding with a nice reception where they're going to be an important and main focus of the evening's events. Get someone else, there are plenty of adequate good mariachis bands out there! Do not hire these people! They left us stranded looking for another mariachi band an hour and a half before they were suppose to perform. We booked them for my aunts 50th surprise party months in advance. Since we were only going to need them for an hour we asked if we could provide a deposit. They said, "it wasn't necessary." Two days before our event we checked in with to confirm the time and address where we needed them. They said no problem. Literally, the day of the event we sent special instruction to contact us when they were behind the building so we can provide a surprise entry. It was at 7:45pm when Richie called and said he was in Pasadena and was going to perform for two hours and that he would need 45 minutes to arrive to our event. We initially scheduled him for 9:30pm because we needed to be out of the venue by 11:00 pm. That means he would not make it until 11 when we needed to leave. We were left very stressed and disappointment. We also agreed to pay him extra since it was only an hour set. Despite our efforts he was a no show! Save your time and money and book else where! read more

Feeling pretty punked. I will post a video of the musicians and the quality of sound. Was it a bad day for them? Their outfits were subpar so presentation was lacking for a wedding on May 20, 2022. We paid a pretty penny for them to perform. They were supposed to wear beige suits! Lazy response in that they are too hard to clean! One musician - the trumpet brought the whole group down. All it takes is one brass to be off key or lose his breath during a song and it came off bad. Lesson learned. Very sad and unfortunate.
