It definitely put me in the holiday 'mood' and has an uplifting ending! The story rapidly progresses and the time just flew by, even though it was two hours long! :) Over the years I have been to 2nd Space Theatre multiple times and each performance that I have been fortunate to attend, has been top-notch! Usually PERFECTLY cast too! The plays that they choose to perform are family friendly, which is why I like to support them. It is a small theater, but that's the beauty of it. The creativity with props, lighting and costumes never ceases to amaze me. For what they have to work with, it's amazing what they can pull off. This is the first time I have gone, where they have offered us SEAT CUSHIONS! I recommend them too! Guess why! ;) At intermission, they sell a variety of candy bars, water, cookies, coffee, and cocoa. All of it is about two dollars each. You cannot take food or drinks into the theater, with the exception of bottled water. You can park directly across the street in the east side of the Dollar Tree parking lot, or near the Chinese restaurant / Health food store area and walk east. I consider what they offer our city as a 'gift'. Fresno truly has some GREAT local talent!

I have weekly classes at a very reasonable cost.The sign-up is simple, the environment is inviting and positive. The staff is helpful and friendly. The teachers are great! I'm making great progress (ha!) but I am familiar with music theory. There are always a few parents waiting in the reception area for their kids to finish their lessons. My own instructor, Juliette, is bright, patient and such a great resource. I'm 75, and a retired RN. I wish I had started sooner!

This was a great show and to see Steve Vai live once in my lifetime here in Fresno was a true gift. I saw Jaime Foxx here back in 2008 and I was up front in Row A. I took some great shots. Please leave the perfume at home. it's a big space but you are sitting close together! I brought my empty water bottle and they had a dispenser there at the front of the theatre. They had some concessions for sale but I didn't see what they offered. This was not a dinner show. Parking was a breeze just behind the Chinese restaurant there and on the street.

Someone literally passed out in front of me because we were out there in the heat for so long. THINGS ONLY GOT WORSE. When I FINALLY got in, the actual air was wet. The walls were wet, the floors were wet, all from sweat and NO air facilitated into the small venue. I got in the building in time to see the main act. Even HE had to cut his performance short because it was NOT safe for people. I saw TWO people being carried out because they passed out. There were CHILDREN at this show. What is wrong with this venue?? How could the firefighters seriously not call this show off? People LITERALLY were being carried out, and not the woah that's crazy cool story bro, like kids 15 years old passing out from dehydration and lack of air. How this venue was able to host this event, I will not understand. How this venue did not take proper steps to make sure people were enjoying their show safely, I do not understand. They were clearly more concerned with making money rather than the safety of CHILDREN. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY GOING TO ANY EVENT AT THIS VENUE WITHOUT THEM SERIOUSLY GETTING THEIR SH*T TOGETHER. You've ran your business for so long in Fresno you KNOW DAM WELL how hot it gets. This should not have happened.

We say The Rugrats movie from my childhood. They do have snacks like popcorn, candy and canned sodas. They also sometimes do a themed soda for the movie. Cash. The Theater area is really beautiful, yes it needs some work. Yet, the molding and the design is beautiful. They don't make theaters or any buildings with detail like this anymore. The high ceilings are just beautiful. The seats are traditional Theater seats, no cup holders, they don't recline. It's nostalgic. It can get cold in the winter, so wear a comfy sweater. They are working to raise money to repair their A/C unit so go support them!

Some styles are "different" and seem to be in an experimenting stage. The rooms that are open are small and cramped if more than a couple of people are inside, and it seems to be a day when their buddies come to visit so you end up just poking your head in, and if you do walk in, you might not be acknowledged because they are catching up with their friends.
