It was a little cold and hard to hear the announcements. The food was good price to be expected at a event center. Clean and restrooms were available. Lots of handicap seating and police on site. Food trucks available outside per event im sure. The Selland arena is a oldy but goody.

I'm a huge Disney Fan and my daughter is my mini Disney Fan in the making and enjoys watching both Frozen and Encanto so I felt it was the perfect opportunity to go. Bought tickets via ticket master a month in advance and got lounge seats. The day of the event we arrived about 30-45 mins prior to the 7pm show. Traffic was light to moderate and we parked in their parking garage $25 per vehicle. Prior to attending the event I looked at their policy on what was permitted in the arena. It stated that bags are subject to be checked and no outside food/drink allowed. So I only brought a small bag with my daughter's necessities. Security was a bit unorganized they tell use to keep moving through the metal detectors but then tells us to stop randomly like completely it was strange and holding up the line for no reason and I felt they didn't do a great job they didn't even search our bag and many others. When we got our tickets scanned we decided to get some food to snack on. As expected food was over priced and not good. We ordered a hot dog meal (drinks and chips included), pretzel ($2 extra charge for cheese dip), churro and candy ($6). We spent a alittle over $30 for food and it definitely was not worth it. The pretzel and churro was hard and dry. The lady on the concession stand was nice but think she was getting confused with our orders. I had to correct her on one of the items she was trying to charge us with. They also have souvenirs I got my daughter an Olaf cup that came with shaved ice and it was $25. After getting our food we were looking for our seats which was an even number section. Apparently we had entered on the odd number side seat and so we walked to see if we could go around but it was a dead and we saw a worker and asked for directions but he wasn't clear he told us we would have to go around... ummm obviously but he wasn't specific enough. If we left and went outside the building they might have re-scan our tickets it just didn't make sense. So I just decided to enter the odd side seat entrance and go from there. Ended up seeing our seat section number and decided to walk straight across the arena rather than walking around which would have been a further distance. The seats were also confusing as the Section names were not visibly labeled. We ended up sitting in the wrong section and then got help to find our right seats. The lounge area was really comfortable there was a table infront of us and the leather seats were a bit worn out and tearing but they were really comfortable and cup holders were also accessible. I thought they were the perfect seats with a great view. I loved that there were so many restrooms near by and they were clean. Overall the show it self was amazing my toddler, my husband and I had a great time. Customer service and security might need alittle work. And perhaps a little upgrade on the torn seats. But I would return for another event.

Rafael and his team were just fantastic from start to finish!! We had such a great experience with…read morethem when we hired them to be the DJ (and more) for my sisters wedding. When I submitted a request for a quote, I got a quick reply from Rafael wanting to set up a meeting to discuss the event and what we were looking for. He gave us a call, so there was no need to set up an in person meeting, which worked well with my busy schedule. I didn't feel pressured or bothered about booking him, he just gave me his experiences as a DJ, what he likes to do to give a great event, gave me the package information, was energetic about it all and let me know the process to book. He was able to text and email me the info too, so I could review and think about. He let me know to call him if I was interested in booking him and setting up a contract. After hearing from a couple other DJs (and not hearing from another), we went with Rafael!! When we discussed the contact, I loved the packages that were available to choose from. There is a basic package (which honestly is NOT basic at all, it's everything you could need and more from a DJ). But then they have their base package with "add ons" there is an option to add any add on to the base package OR there are options to add 1, 3 or 5 add ons. We went with 3 add ons, and added the ceremony sound, and 2 hours of the Photo Booth. The contract was very detailed but easy to understand and outlined the responsibilities of the DJ, and the couple, and who was paying. We were able to sign the contract electronically, and pay through PayPal. There was a non refundable deposit of $300. Which I felt was appropriate. Rafael and his team served as the DJ, Master of Ceremonies, reception coordinators and so much more. They had a detailed event day planner for the couple to complete/fill out so he could review and prep for the big day and make sure the reception went as smoothly as we wanted it to go. This included asking for song ideas, how we wanted the entrances to be, what type of traditions (money dance/father-daughter dance/who was giving speeches etc) there were going to be. We had a check-in one week before the event and one last check-in a couple days prior just for last minute questions, and for assurance that Rafael 100% knew the plan for our event. This helped the execution for sure!! Then the Photo Booth alone, was such an awesome decision!! The add on is listed as 1 hour Photo Booth, and I was SO EXCITED to have Rafael offer a second hour as a second add on!! Everyone attending loved this and it came with all the print outs people asked for, and they had someone there making sure one of the print outs was added to a photo album for the couple!! Which we could then sign! Such a cute idea and well executed by all three staff that were working that day!! The ceremony sound worked so well, and helped in the outdoor venue, and so this was a no brainer as an add on!! As a DJ and Master of Ceremony, Rafael and his team were spot on, and you could tell they really love their job. They did a great job playing songs through the night that the couple requested and that others requested! There is a phone number that guests can text a request to. They did have a flow for the night and it was pretty much executed to a tee!! They felt the flow of the event and changed up songs if they needed to. Rafael, you and your team were a class act through the entire night and we can't wait to hire you for future events. 100%, 12/10 recommend Good Vibes DJ!!

I'm missing the horse racing though (as they don't have horse racing this year). I really enjoyed that part of the fair so hopefully they'll bring it back next year. IDK? I'm here tonight to see Joan Jett in concert. So far spent, $20 parking,$15 entrance fee, $11 for a plastic cup of J. Lohr Cab and $15 for a Corn Dog. & $9 for Elote corn... Of course anything for the kids because for them price isn't a concern. They enjoyed every moment of it just being out and about with the scene. I helped myself to some local whipped honey and bee pollen. The corn dog and curly fries brick was about $25 and the grilled corn was $7. The sea lion show attracted many people and a lady going around with bubbles had the kids jumping with joy, my toddler enjoyed both. If you look past the food, there's still much to enjoy. I just got food items that my kids would enjoy. I'll be going to the RnB Concert this week so we will see how that goes, I kind of scoped if there was any new vendors. I think I'll just be going for the usual smoked turkey leg and sticky cinnamon roll:)
