Received flowers from my b/f for Valentine's day. The flowers were not even close to the photo of the flowers he ordered. They were missing so many flowers and roses. When he called to complain, they laughed at him and told him to go to the grocery store next time. Would never order from here or recommend anyone else. Called to say that the wrong arrangement was delivered. Maria "the owner" worst customer service experience EVER. Not only did she not understand the issue, she was trying to literally run away from it. Blaming Teleflora for the problem. I spent 45minutes trying to get a resolution. A. Send the flowers I paid for B. I would give zero if it was an option. Everything was wrong with my order. I wish I could post pictures so you could see for yourself. I ordered a lovely gingerbread house with a beautiful arrangement that was supposed to have pine, cinnamon sticks, tiny white roses , red carnations. What was delivered was red and white carnations that was half dead and delivered sometime between 7:30 pm and 5:00 am instead of being delivered at 9:00 am and was left on porch in hot Florida weather. Received some flowers recently from this florist. Some flowers dead upon arrival, the rest dead within 2 days of delivery. Upon washing the container, that could be used for food, it was very clear that this was used many times previously. I for sure would not recommend Maria's Flowers. Very disappointing. I ordered some flowers for my mother for Mothers Day, scheduled to be delivered Friday. Never got delivered. No one answers phone and voice mail isn't set up to leave a message. Email address is incorrect and all emails get sent back. I finally got ahold of them and they said there was an issue with my order (didn't call or email to let me know that, had I not asked my mom if she got the flowers I would have never known). They said they would send them Monday (today) Never got delivered... AGAIN. I called all afternoon and no answer. I would not recommend using Maria's flowers if you actually want your recipient to get the flowers. Im very upset and waiting to contact them again tomorrow until I get a refund. I order flowers through Teleflora for Christmas Eve, and 2 years in a row they have sent the request to Maria's flowers to fulfill. Both times the flowers I received were late, half dead and though I had paid for the premium arrangements they gave me the base arrangement. After they were 2 days late this Christmas and had the wrong flowers again, I have resolved that I will not use Teleflora ever again and I most certainly will never use Maria's Flowers. By far they have been the worst florist I have ever dealt with, the quality is not there, they deliberately try to cheat their customers and they view Teleflora orders as second class orders by fulfilling regulars first with no regard for when the orders are placed.. read more

I ordered the bouquet "make a wish" with a balloon for my daughters birthday on January 1st 2022. The bouquet was delivered 12/31/2021, which was fine. The bouquet arrived in terrible condition wilted flowers, the ribbon around the vase was inside the vase in the water, the balloon was deflated. She lives in an apartment, instead of the delivery person deliver to her door (which was around the corner) he delivered it to the clubhouse and gave her a call to pick it up. When she arrived at the clubhouse it was hidden behind an object and she literally had to look for it. I had emailed Maria's and have never heard from them, no response. I would have rated this flower shop a "0" if that was an option. I live in Indiana my daughter lives in Palm Harbor, Fl. DO NOT USE THIS FLORIST! My MOTHER received a "luxury succulent terrarium" I paid $114 for yesterday for Mother's Day and sent me pictures of it. I attached one picture of the item ordered and three pictures of what was received. As you can see from the pictures, this is absolutely unacceptable and an embarrassment to any florist in the business. The "arrangement" was delivered in a bowl I can purchase anywhere for $5.00 or less and not even close to the thick and high quality bowl advertised on the website. The "arrangement" could have been done by a four year old from moss and pulling off a couple ferns and leaves from someone's yard in Florida. The "luxury succulent terrarium" included ONE small succulent, a couple fern pieces, moss, some snake plant, a couple rocks, and a few shards of glass-ish pieces, along with a stick-plant. Customer service was atrocious. The owner was extremely rude, and as I have spoken with friends and family, I have learned this "florist" is well-known to be of poor quality. I originally had placed the order through FromYouFlowers.com, and if Maria's couldn't come close to matching the order advertised and paid for, they should have contacted the company and simply said they just can't do it. I usually go directly to a local florist without going through an online system, but I saw this arrangement and thought it was very beautiful and unique. I just received a very pretty plant sent by an out of state friend for my birthday. The note said who the plant was from and her message, but no information on what the plant WAS, or what care it needed. It had some bug bites on the leaves as well. My friend mentioned that the pot didn't look like the one that was on their site when I sent her a photo. I know how much plants cost to send and I think Maria's Flowers did a mediocre job on the presentation and info. My friend told me what kind of plant it was and I will look up how to care for it as it is pretty and I love plants! read more

We ordered flowers thru Teleflora and paid for premium flowers and also paid for an early delivery and we got neither. The delivery was late and the flowers were a small half dead arrangement. Dead carnations and green poms. The 2 Lilies in the arrangement were yellow and wilted and there were supposed to be 7 lilies in the arrangement. The roses were all opened and had black around the edges. I was embarrassed in giving the arrangement to the birthday girl. I called Teleflora and didn't get much in the way of customer service. My $91 bill with them will be credited $15 for the early delivery I paid for and $27 for the problems with the flowers so I still had to pay $49 for half dead flowers that I wouldn't even pay $20 for if I saw them in the store. A family member ordered birthday flowers and a gift package (balloon, chocolates and soft toy) for me from abroad for my birthday. I received the flowers..nothing else. My family member asked if I had received the other items and contacted the company when I told them I had not. This was on a Saturday. On the following day at 6pm I received a voice message saying my other items would be delivered the following day. The next day the chocolates and balloon arrived. No soft toy. I called Maria's. She was quite rude and complained that I had not been home the previous day when she called. I had missed the call because I didn't get to the phone fast enough (I was cooking dinner) and the message said they were coming the following day (Monday) and she did not ask me to call back. I did not expect that anyone was about to come out that late on a Sunday evening! They had been told about the missing items on Saturday afternoon so they had plenty of time to contact me sooner! She made it sound as though it was my fault my items were so late. I explained that my birthday was 2 days ago, on Saturday, and that despite a second delivery, there was still an item missing. She said quite grumpily and rudely "well you need to understand we are human." Like how dare I expect the order to be complete and on time, or the 2-day late items to all be there! She said "We will come back now if you are home". I told her I was home and I waited and waited. 4.5 hours later the missing item was finally delivered--a teddy bear, soaking wet, because two of those little single flower holders full of water were inside the cellophane with the bear (with no flowers in them so they had leaked all over). Perhaps intentional to punish me for calling about the missing items from the order? Maybe there were supposed to be flowers in there too? I have absolutely no idea why they would do that but it seems petty and unprofessional to deliver it in that state. This was absolutely the worst service I have ever received from a florist and an appalling customer service experience. I understand things may sometimes go wrong but you should apologize and put it right. Not be rude and blame the customer because you screwed up (or deliver damaged items as punishment). My family member was very upset to spend all that money and for the order to be messed up so badly. A birthday balloon and gifts 2 days late--not really all that much of a surprise is it? I wish i could give them more stars than just 5 I couldn't be more pleased with the excellence in customer service and treatment as well as the service thaT I received at Maria's Flowers! I ordered a triple orchid and Lilly bloom for a dear friend at a hospital. (Baycare Hospitals tend to get a little tricky between Clearwater and Palm Harbour,) Since this delivery was in a hospital, they made sure it was delivered first to make sure the patient wasn't discharged before the flowers arrived. Later in the day when I went to visit my friend I got to see the arrangement, MY GOD!! It was stunning!!! Absolutely breathtaking and it made the whole room light up which was exactly what everyone needed. I HIGHLY recommend this floral service. I called the owner, Maria and had to personally thank her for the excellent service and arrangement they created for me, Her passion was definitely expelled through her arrangements... I recently ordered for a Clearwater resident Teleflora's 'Sunny Day Pitcher of Charm.' What she described that she received from Maria's was a pitcher of daisies with what sounded like some solidago/goldenrod mixer in. She liked it. BUT there were no roses or other flowers like in the more expensive arrangement I ordered and paid for. When I called Maria's to try to find out what went wrong, the woman who answered seemed to have a hard time understanding me. She asked the recipients name and I had to repeat and spell it several times. She asked for my Teleflora order number and then told me it was incorrect and should only have 5 numbers (wrong, it has 8). I gave her the item number instead to see if that helped. It didn't. Then she gave me her 'explanation' of what may have gone wrong, including telling me the pitcher (which comes with what I ordered from Teleflora) costs her $14, and in the future I'd be better off calling her directly to avoid the extra charge, etc, etc. I'll make sure any flowers I order in the future through Teleflora or otherwise don't go through Maria's. read more

I deliver half dead flowers and provided the rudest customer service. The sad part is I ordered these through Teleflora and I was so excited for my mom to get beautiful flowers for Mother's Day. I was going for the WOW factor, well I got the WOW factor.... wow I could of bought better flowers at the local grocery store.
