I've used mid-right midnight rides for a few years. Used to cost me 25 bucks to get from desoto Bay to Lakeport. So I didn't even ask the guy how much it was going to cost me. I thought it would be reasonable when we got to my destination in Lakeport it was $72. I could not understand how you don't go from from to 72 and that little bit of a Time I will not be using them again. read more

I have always had good times in maria midnight rides with a lady who was very welcoming would play music and even talk to us like we're almost friends. I recently got a man whose name was I believe Randy/Brandy couldn't hear what he said. He was rude and didn't seem like he wanted us in the car. He gave us all a very weird vibe and felt him constantly staring at me in the rear view mirror very noticeable that even my brother in law was ready to say something. I am not sure how to get a hold of the main one in charge but I feel that this doesn't help your business in the right way. I feel like with different drivers they change the prices and I find this weird some over price I feel like. we would normally pay 20 bucks and normally always give a tip for the lady we get because she is sweet and welcoming. Now for this guy randy/ brandy he charged us 35 bucks which is quite a bit more. I would've given it 5 stars if I didn't experience this situation with this guy read more

I was greatly disappointed this morning with Maria's Midnight Rides. I contacted therm on Monday around 11am to reserve a ride for today at 7:20am. The girl on thee phone took my information and said she reserved the time for me. At 7:30 this morning I called Maria's and was told they didn't have the reservation But the girl remembered my calling. I had to wait an hour, was 45 minutes late for my physical therapy appt, and was totally inconvenienced. I will never use them again. The owner ended up being my driver and didn't charge for the ride, apologized for the woman who answers the phone but sail the employee allows her personal life to interfere with her work. I was very upset especially since I am disabled, using a cane and in a neck brace. The owner tried to appease me but it hasn't helped. read more

They are always on time. Never have to wait or call twice because of being late. Morning,Noon or night I call and give them a time that I Need picked up in advance and they're on time if not early. No other Taxi service can say that currently. read more

I worked with Maria's Midnight Rides (and Maria herself, who owns and runs the business) to arrange transportation to and from my wedding venue up a dirt fire road from Lucerne (at Precious Forest). Once I got her on the phone (call her; she's not really responsive to email), she was extremely easy to work with. She has a fleet of 3-4 passenger vans (basically minivans) and a few regular cars as well, and she was willing to coordinate five different van-loads, at two different times, from three different locations, up the hill and then run a continual service back down the hill so we didn't have any risk of drunk drivers after our wedding in the dark. All of her drivers showed up exactly on time, knew the local area well, and drove safely. When we ended up needing fewer rides last minute than we originally discussed, she only billed us for the rides we used, and was fine with payment the day after the event, which was really nice. This was a vendor we were extremely worried about before the wedding, since there were obviously no real reviews online and if she had any issues, we couldn't get our family to our wedding venue, and everything went perfectly. read more

Driver was horrible, swerving all over the 1 lane road like a drunk because he was trying to type in the address to his gps, for a destination that all 4 adults made clear we knew how to get to. It's fine if you want your GPS on, but that's a predeparture item. read more

Haven't used them, and NEVER WILL. This is a small town and I've seen these drivers speeding, parked illegally, and driving recklessly on numerous occasions. Just today I saw an MMR driver parked illegally blocking the post office driveway. First of all, terrible customer service. The driver made his passenger walk across the parking lot through traffic to the curbside mailbox...wth? Then, a motorist trying to pull into the busy parking lot had to stop and wait for another car that needed to come into his lane in order to exit the lot because of the MMR cab parked on the wrong side. The motorist then stopped and said something to the cabbie about blocking the driveway, and the MMR driver yelled "F*#% OFF!" The motorist got out of his car to have words with the MMR driver, who quickly rolled up his window. Unbelievably unprofessional, dangerous and honestly, I'm not sure how they continue to operate. I agree with another poster - your cab is clearly marked and you are representing not just yourself, but the business. Read the DMV driver handbook (a few times), take a customer service class or two, and learn to handle yourself with dignity, class and professionalism. And they are not even a licensed cab company. The drivers are ceazy! They speed in residential areas and have even ran over a person at a gas station! Last night on 4th of July they flew up our road by the Lakeport school with neighbors yelling to slow down and my husband standing in the road to get them to slow down and they flew past him! Honestly so pissed off with this company. The drivers are horrible and make me feel like I'm risking my life every time I drive with them. And when I call for a ride at 2 and say they won't be able to make it until 3-3:30 and then it's 4:30 and they still haven't arrived or picked up my phone calls is just beyond frustrating.
