Mariel Martin is a gifted psychic, palm reader and healer. I went to Mariel in 2005 when I had severe stress that was causing a hardening of my neck and body and was extremely debilitating. In one session she resolved the issue. I stood up and it felt as if a heavy metal jacket fell off of my body. It was many years later that I went to see her for a palm reading and she was completely accurate in what she told me about my life and gave me excellent guidance. Yes, she asked questions, but there was no way she could have given me the answers she gave without having received the guidance spiritually. To my surprise not only did I feel better immediately, but one morning during my prayer time I put my hands near my face and felt a distinct beam of heat coming out of my palms. I soon discovered that I had been given the ability to heal with ARC healing through my hands from Mariel's sessions. I significantly improved three different friends ailments just by holding my hands over them. I plan to study with Mariel further. That is not all. I grew very ill last week with extreme pain in my stomach and called Mariel to ask her about a class I wanted to take from her, but she picked up that I was under psychic attack--that I didn't have severe indigestion there was something trying to attach to me. I went in to see her not knowing what to expect and holding out a little reservation about the whole issue--It's good to be a little skeptical and weigh and measure everything--even from a Western Medical Doctor--but always be fair and check it out. She pinned down exactly who was doing the psychic attack and why...and many other things about the person and their ambition and personality. In response to Ms. Martin's comments regarding my review, I am speechless regarding this crazy story. Lets start with the facts (which I will type once I stop laughing): I will give Ms. Martin kudos for a great imagination. I think I saw something similar on the Lifetime channel last month. Where should I begin? I'll start with the facts: I don't go by Rebecca J in my everyday life. And not the day of my reading, either. I do not have four children. (The thought exhausts me). One is plenty, thanks. My husband is not in jail....LOL....but he enjoyed that part the most and is curious what he did to end up there. Was it something exciting at least? If my husband was a criminal, I certainly would not have four children with the guy. Geez. Give me some credit. I have never been to Arizona but would love to go some day. And I have never seen myself as "troubled" but I do have some major PMS sometimes so i guess that part might be true for a few days out of the month. Good lord, if you are going to fabricate a story, then at least place us in the correct city for starters. But nice storytelling. Ms. Martin, I'm sure you have a good heart beneath your fears and insecurities. I don't doubt that for a moment. I hope you can find that heart-centered place you speak about. You seem to want that but I am not sure you are coming from the heart just yet with your work....but I know you can if step out of your fears for a moment. Relax and stop focusing on the money. If the work makes you happy, then do it for that reason and the money will come. To force it doesn't work. To fake it doesn't work. Let it come to you. We all have psychic abilities naturally so no doubts about that...but you gotta get out of your own way and trust yourself and others. Mariel is a lovely person, very caring and insightful. My friend and I each had separate palm readings on different days, with me choosing a longer reading that included an interesting fingerprint reading which i have kept by my desk on a little sheet---it hints at the importance of my life's priorities and purpose. My friend wanted clarity about her current romantic relationship and its eventual path; Mariel cautioned her about a couple of critical aspects that made it clear this person wasn't the right one. The degree of detail about her warning was impressive, and my friend came away from the reading with a lot of new insight, empowerment, and courage to take the necessary steps to end things and move on. My reading was so cool---I recorded it as audio, and captured photos afterward of the lines she drew on both of my hands for future reference (the ink is a dark washable kind that photographs well...my friends all loved seeing the patterns.). Mariel touched upon my childhood difficulties and my gifts, my strengths and my challenges. Not everyone who goes for a reading is necessarily unhappy or troubled or in dire need of answers---some people go for a reading out of curiosity, or to be surprised. As for me, it was my professional life that Mariel zeroed in on the most, the types of work I'd done in the past and the sort of work I could and should do now and in the future. Mariel really got me thinking not just about myself and my friend, but also about all of us---people in general. Why are we here on this earth? For what purpose are we leading these lives we lead? I first received a Palm Reading from Mariel and it was very insightful. I was amazed at all that she could tell me just by looking at my hands! She gave insight on every area of my life - lovelife, career, health and opportunities awaiting me in the future. During the 40 minutes that we met I received a ton of helpful information! She is very good at what she does. When I asked about my son, she was also able to tune in with him, even though he wasn't there. When I went to write this review I saw another one that was written on 4/4/13. I was very surprised that Rebecca wrote what she did. My experience was quite different. Mariel told me things about myself that were true, with no leading questions, no fishing, she just told me things about a situation that I was finding challenging, about how my past experiences had left me vulnerable to in this type of situation, and how I could use other experiences (that I had not relayed to her) to overcome those vulnerabilities. She talked about people in my life in very specific terms, and described not only their personalities and relationship to me, but even their physical appearances accurately! I have been top other psychics, including a gypsy who's office is only a block or two away from Mariel's. They all used psychological tricks to mine information, and told me what I wanted to hear. Mariel IS DIFFERENT! She knew without mining any info from me. Another difference is that the gypsy, and other psychics I have been to have all tried to get me to pay for more, often through using scare tactics such as "You have a curse, and it has to be removed, which will cost more and more money." Mariel is kind, loving person. I felt comfortable with her the first time I had a reading. She helped me see the person who I am supposed to be.
