This is by far one of my favorite gift + meandering stores in town. It's beautiful, intentional, and unique. It has a plethora of realms to dive into including tarot, well priced vintage, crystals, books and local gifts/ art. The space is large, multi roomed and open. They offer tarot readings at the store on certain days. It is such a sweet shelter to duck into on a rainy Portland day or re-enliven the senses any day in-between. This is a must visit on any trip to Portland (or once a week if you live here)! I visited recently, on a day that was heavy. Lark went above and beyond, listening, really hearing, and making suggestions as I asked for them. I ended up doing a 30 minute session on their sound bed and it was unbelievable. I left with a handful of special crystals, perfectly times written resources from Lark, my new favorite candle, and a much lighter heart and spirit. They have a cute photo booth at the entrance which prints you out four photos on a strip (one in color and one in black and white). The In House psychic told me things during my reading that any stranger could tell me. Worse, she was offering a workshop that I asked about and she was blantantly rude, telling me It would be best that I see her one on one ($100.00 a session) throughout the month. When I asked her why she felt I was not ok to attend her workship her response," I only have personal invites at my workshop." The prices here are reasonable for well curated vintage clothing, particularly items that are well selected and in excellent condition. Creative thought has been given to the items on display and for sale here, down to the humorous vending machine in their side entryway. I was not expecting this store to be as expansive as it is, as my wife and I approached the door on the 19th Avenue side. Honestly, I think we were both expecting it to be not much more than a private booth for a tarot reader or psychic. Instead, what we found was a massive shop catering to esoterics and mystics, selling everything from crystals to clothing, tarot and trinkets, and audacious oddities. I guess that's why *I* am not a psychic. Not a whole lot here caters to my personal tastes (fashion or otherwise), so I can't contribute a whole lot of insight, when it comes to knowing what to look for here. I will say that the assortment of vintage clothing on sale was unique, interesting and stylish, and priced reasonably. The store is laid out in a manner than it fun to traverse and browse, clean, organized and air-conditioned, which is a big perk on a swelteringly hot day. It doesn't take a psychic to foretell that aspiring witches, sorceresses and oracles are likely to find the whatever focus, fetish or frock they're looking for here at Psychic Sister. I was double charged on my card (which was extremely inconvenient) because it showed up on my credit card after the fact when I had already left town. Also, I decided for fun to have my first "psychic" meeting with Raina. Wow, what a waste of 100 bucks. It was uncomfortable and she is a con artist. Lesson learned. read more

Psychic Sister is a really cool store. It is also a large store with lots or roomy rooms. There is an art vending machine right at the entrance, do not miss checking that out. Once inside there are lots of great books, healing crystals, candles and jewelry in the first room. Interesting store. Lots, I mean LOTS, of vintage clothes at very reasonable prices. The store is very big and offers everything from crystals and tarot cards, to jewelry and pill box hats. There are also a lot of books available to purchase, mostly about feminism and woman power....it was great to see. They are definitely low pressure sales, as no one talked to us the whole time we were there, it made me feel a little unwelcome. It was worth a visit. Would probably only go back to find a certain "look" clothing wise, that was the best part of the store. read more

What an amazing experience!!! Was visiting Seattle from Florida and googled best psychic in the area this little gem came up . So we drove the few hours and barely made it before they closed . Now here is where the phenomenal experience begins . Unfortunately I don't recall her name but she has such amazing energy and was so kind helped me find what I was looking for didn't rush us even though she was closing . She let me look and find exactly what I needed explaining different sets asked questions to find one that worked perfectly for me . Unfortunately I really was hoping for reading coming there but due to Covid they weren't doing readings . But please don't let that discourage you from visiting . This is such a great place . Absolutely THE BEST witchy store in Portland! As a baby witch, I came here to get some much-needed items for my practice, and I was just amazed and blown away by the dreamy ambiance, magical aesthetic, and the blessed energy of this amazing witchy store! Brianna and the owner Dreamy helped me find whatever I needed, gave me advice without making me feel pressured, held the items at the counter that I was going to buy while I browsed, and the owner Dreamy even helped me learn how to use my ouija board that I have at home, she like showed me how to do it and even did a demonstration and I was able to chat with spirits! Out of the goodness of her heart :) She was so encouraging and her magical advice, witchy items, and fabulous vintage finds will have me coming back again and again! I'm hooked! They also support BLM which makes me so happy! Also, concerning covid, right when you walk in the door, there is an open bathroom with a sign that says you have to wash your hands, and you have to wear masks, and I felt super safe shopping there knowing everyone coming in was clean! Such an authentic and vibes feel where crystals meet vintage clothing. I have had a reading done here before and Jo was amazing, highly recommended if you're into that stuff. Another few times I went specifically for crystals and shopping for clothes. Great selection, friendly service, and very photogenic if you're one to take mirror pics. This store has great vintage, but unfortunately the sweatshirts they carry fall apart after the first wash. I'm really bummed because I got 3 of them, including one as a gift, and I feel embarrassed to have gifted something so low quality. They cost around $60 each, and that's a lot of money for something that doesn't last at all. read more

It has a very "new" sort of feel, like a little less traditional when it comes to metaphysical stores, which isn't something I personally find connecting. It made their whole store seem less spiritual or authentic. The staff could've been more attentive, they were dealing with other business functions but the store had about 5 people in it and barely any conversation was made with customers. Dreamy (the owner) was so welcoming and kind. She helped me put together a perfect birthday present for a friend--special edition zodiac sign shirt and some beautiful earrings. Plus, I got a killer vintage leather jacket for myself. I saw several people coming and going for their tarot readings--there's this private mirrored room that they use.
