My homeroom teacher, Ms. Kinney, was not very good at handling one of the autistic kids in my class. He left after like 3 months of being there. As well, one of the teachers next to my home room, Ms. EG, told me, a 6-year-old, to "zip it" after I was crying because someone YELLED AT THE TOP OF HIS LUNGS INTO MY EAR. Was he punished? Of course not! Was I? Why wouldn't I be! I had to apologize to EG for some ungodly reason. As well as this, I can kind of understand, but I kicked this one kid in the chest by accident, mind you, so you know what my friends did? They turned on me even after I had tried to apologize several times and went and got the kids home room teacher, Ms. Brimmis. After fetching her, she proceeded to yell at me for 20 FULL MINUTES while I was cowering, crying underneath one of the structures in the playground. The only nice person there was the vice principal, so I'd like to say thanks to her for making the year I was there at least somewhat bearable. A L burruss is NOT the school for me but now I'm homeschooled and could be happier. Btw I'm also autistic so keep that in the back of your head.

I bet they don't use those characters to teach the alphabet anymore. Pokemon and Barney screaming at your babies head. East Valley is a pretty small elementary school. It's in a nice little suburb of Marietta and I don't remember there being too many bad kids except for the skaters I started hanging out with in 4th and 5th, and really all they ever did was punch each other and bring porn to school. I imagine nowadays there's 3rd grade heroin addicts and lots of raucous bathroom sex in at least percentage of American schools. I would put East Valley near the top of the list of places I think would last be affected by this. It was a safe, clean, nice school. Not too huge, but that's part of what makes it nice: they don't push 'em through like cattle. You can feel okay about sending your babies here.
