Took my 6 month old to get her ears pierced. Mr. Sam was very very nice. Informative and gentle. He took his time with her and made sure the marks were correct. He explained everything that he did step by step and had a lot of patience with her, although she was very good. He made sure that everything was sterile and explained how to do the after care as well. When he pierced her ears she didn't cry! Pain free! I'm leaving this review because I trusted the other yelp reviews of this doctor, and was honestly shocked by my experience based on the positive things I read online. Dr Klotsman herself is a very nice doctor, as far as reviewing her, she gets 4-5 stars. She does care about her patients and she is very kind. My low review is really based on her office and her staff. I think she opened her own practice and the staff surrounding her is not supporting her well. My experience here has been by far the most unprofessional medical experience I have ever encountered. Their office hours are very haphazard. Some days they are only open 730pm-9pm, with no hours in the day. Not even the clerical staff. We went to an evening appt and were told several times to be early at a specific time. Well, we were early right on time for when I was told to be there, and the office was closed. We had to wait outside for 25 minutes on the dirty stairs until someone finally showed up with keys. Then several patients who came after us were seen before we were even seen. The nurse assistant could barely speak English, and she could not answer a basic question such as "how tall is he now?" When my previous doctor needed to fax our records, I learned later from Dr. Klotsman's front desk that they had them faxed to their neighbors fax machine: a residential neighbor who is a stranger and has no right to have any access to our medical records. The front desk is extremely disorganized and does not speak very good English. They often cannot understand what I"m saying on the phone, phrases such as "test results." I was told I'd receive a call from the doctor, and a week went by still no call. I've been trying to get my child's test results, and I'm told by the front desk "I will try to help you but I'm going to the bank, and I don't have a pen." And then nothing, no help. It seems the doctor has not been getting any of my messages from the front desk. We will not return there anymore bcs of the administrative issues. I will repeat again, Dr. Klotsman is a wonderful doctor, however the administrative staff made my experience extremely frustrating. read more

We have been coming to Dr. Klotsman for our child since he was born. This was a difficult task in being honest but by doing so there is a chance that the experience might be improved upon in the future. Dr. Klotsman is an amazing Doctor. The experience however has changed since moving to the new office. The support staff are in-consistent seems like a rotating door of nurses and staff. I feel like there isn't a sense of continuity from experience to experience so you really can't count on things like remembering you and your family's name and past visits, potentially. I feel the experience has been more on the cold side and doesn't really make an effort to ease my child nerves in my opinion. As a father I also feel I receive a different experience with the nurses then when I'm with my wife as well. I hope moving forward it doesn't matter whether father or mother comes with the child and that it's a comfortable and more of a seem-less experience for everyone along with more friendly to allow my kid to feel at ease so he can grow to have a positive outlook about doctors visits. Again Dr. Klotsman really is the best and personally I cannot speak high enough praise however, one person alone cannot carry a whole team and the entire customer experience is just as important particularly for a child and also family. He was so caring and mind to my baby, the entire process was so neat and clean and quick from beginning to end. I'm so glad I took my time. He was so gently my baby didn't even cry. We have been taking my daughter here since she was a couple months old and have felt very comfortable with Dr. Klotsman. We came to her after an unfortunate 2 first visits with another pediatrician who should stop practicing cause he clearly is out of touch with this field. She has a very calm demeanor which helps a whole lot especially since my daughter loses her cool as soon as we walk in. (I only hope that goes away with time) I appreciate how Dr. Klotsman treats and approaches care with my daughter. Other doctors are quick to prescribe unnecessary amounts of medication for even a common cold, but not her. She does not bombard the patient with more medication than necessary and instead she will monitor closely and make sure alternate routes are tried. She is a true professional and her being a mother makes her even more empathetic to my concerns. If you are looking for a pediatrician who truly cares and is willing to listen to your concerns for your child then make an appointment with Dr. Klotsman! FYI She also does prenatal visits for expecting parents who wish to meet with her beforehand. read more

Sam was amazing with my baby girl . Just left the office and I am very satisfied . He is patient, kind and gentle. He explains step by step and make sure everything is perfect and that you are satisfied before proceeding . He recommended 3 different types of earrings to suite my baby girl and explained the sizing etc. He didn't not rush the process at all . He made sure the numbing cream was fully working before proceeding . Baby girl was a little fussy and he was super gentle and sweet and tried to calm her down. I brought my 3 year old son with me and Sam was excellent with him as well. He was very attentive and kind , he gave him a lollipop while we waited for the cream to kick in and even cut out little paper pizzas for my son from a pamphlet that my son seen. I am so happy with our experience with Dr. Marina Klotsman and Dynasty Pediatrics. Our one year old twin girls have been patients of Dr. Klotsman since they were born at 34 weeks weighing 4.5 lbs. As a terrified new mother of preemies, I relied on Dr. Klotsman for advice and encouragement with breastfeeding, illnesses, and weight gain. She was incredibly supportive of me trying to exclusively breastfeed the babies. Dr. Klotsman followed H&B's weight gain very closely and asked us to come in twice a month to make sure they were gaining enough. She has taken such good care of our family! Dynasty Pediatrics is a family-run doctor's office with great hours. Employees are always friendly and helpful. Wait times are not long, and Dr. Klotsman never hurries through appointments. I've noticed that she always asks "Do you have anymore questions?" at the end of an appointment. As a brand new parent, I would bring a list of questions and always felt satisfied with her explanations! Dr. Klotsman is very easy to get in touch with if we have questions after office hours. We had to call her late at night once or twice about very high fevers, and she has always been professional and calm. She is affiliated with Methodist Hospital and also practices with Park Slope Pediatrics. Overall, we have been thrilled with our experiences at Dynasty Pediatrics. At the beginning of the rotation, she clarified objectives and expectations. This rotation was a great experience for me. I, not only learned many new skills from her medical knowledge, but also from her interaction with patients. Dr. Koltsman was very caring, had great relationship with all patients. She explained and addressed the patients, concerns, answered their questions thoroughly, and made sure parents understand their child's condition. This place is phenomenal! Got my baby girls ears pierced here. Sam was amazing. My mom was leaving out of the country the next day & I had a photo shoot scheduled for them. I called the main office they gave me Sam's number. I called him AFTER HOURS & explained to him the situation. He immediately understood & opened the office for us. He was very welcoming & sweet. I had my 3 year old son with me he gave him a lollipop. The office was very clean & kid friendly. He showed us different size options to suit my daughter, explained the process step by step & took the time to make sure the markings were in a good place before he pierced her ears. He was very clean & sanitized his hands. She cried a little bit afterwards but he picked her up which showed he cared. He even let me breastfeed her afterwards to settle her down. He did not rushed the process AT ALL. Which I loved. The price was reasonable & he even gave my son who got nothing done a pair of sunglasses. My first girl, first piercing experience was hands down a great one! I highly recommend that you get your kids ears pierced here.
