When I tried to get clarifications about the case, they would always say that the lawyer in unavailable after they had been paid in full. I had tried to put a more in depth review on google, but it keeps coming down. I do have some questions for Mr. Marinaro. We came back to your firm,1) because you still had 5.000 dollars that Anthony got paid for, but did not bother to do. I also thought for sure that you would right the wrongs that your employee did. With the staff telling me that he was getting yelled at by Judges, coming at the employees physically, the fact that you thought he was stealing from the firm,and the things I was told he was doing to peoples cases, including my daughters and that the fact that he kept threatening to go to Pyfer and Reese, if you did not give him a raise. I can not for the life of me figure out why you continued to give him cases, if he was acting so erratically. From the clues that I was givin, you and your staff knew about Anthony long before my daughter became a client. She lost her son for 10 months, due to his intentional misconduct. The police should have been called if you thought he was stealing. He should have been put on leave, until he got help, or better yet fired. YOU, should have reported him to the disciplinary board, instead of your staff telling me to do it. He definitely should not have had peoples lives at his disposal. Everyone, from the office manager, to the secretaries, to the owner, had a duty to protect the clients from misconduct. I have found some of the people I was told about. I can tell you, it sounds like extortion, when he tells his client that they need to have 4,500 by the next day, or he will not show up to the custody hearing( which was the next day). Or having someone pay him directly, instead of paying the firm. Sure does sound like stealing to me. Or to purposely trash a case because I believe he had some alegence to the opposing lawyer Katherine, there is no other way to explain it. Now, if you're wondering why I didn't dsicuss this on the phone, I did try calling multiple times, and just got a run around or someone would take my info and I never got a call back. I felt like I was being avoided. I want everyone who reads this to share it with everybody who has had Anthoney Knabb Didonato., because I believe there more victims out there. The Marinaro Law firm has absolutely no desire in helping their clients. He will gladly take your money, give you a sales pitch, and barley show up on time the day of your court hearing. We made numerous attempt (17 days in a row to be exact) to contact Marinaro days leading up to the court date. We never received a call back, and the guy did an extremely poor job at conveying any information to his client. He is an absolute crook, complete waste of money, and should not be allowed to practice. Please do not use this firm. read more

Michael Marinaro really doesn't deserve any stars. He was my lawyer in an old case where had I known the key witness changed her story and told the truth I could have had my case thrown out or beat at trial since the arrest relied on her testimony I'd have taken my chances. Instead Michael withheld that information from me and I took a plea instead. He's not a fighting man's lawyer, he's a lawyer of the worse caliber in my eyes. Not telling your client all that you have is a serious problem. If you end up stuck with him pay attention to your discovery package your freedom may be in there just don't rely on Michael to tell you. read more

This law firm is the most inept, disorganized, inefficient business with with I have ever dealt. They require payment up front because they don't bill hourly, but as soon as they have your money they stop working for you: no return phone calls, no email responses, no hearing follow up, etc. We literally paid them and didn't hear from them again. We called and got nothing but excuses from the assistants as to why we couldn't speak to our attorney. The excuses ranged from "she's out of the office" to "she is having a no-contact week" (which means she doesn't deal with clients for that week). Everyone is incompetent from the lawyers to the paralegals to the assistants. The final straw was when we did all our own legwork and scheduled an appointment to finally file the post nuptial agreement and when we arrived we passed our lawyer leaving the building. When we said "Hey! We have an appointment with you at 9:30" she replied curtly "I don't have that on my schedule" and continued to walk up the street. When we walked into the office the paralegal said our appointment was two week prior but they "forgot to inform us". She stated that the computer system showed that no one had confirmed that appointment. Then an assistant that we had been dealing with came into the conversation agreeing that she had scheduled the appointment that day and she "didn't know why it wasn't in the system". There are a LOT of lawyers in this area. Do yourself a favor and find another law office. This office will do nothing but take your money and add to your stress. read more

If you care about your time child and money don't ever come here don't believe all these reviews you see here this law firm is not even close to the reviews they have. I dealt with attorney Marinaro for over a Year and 1 month because he extended in chambers with opposing counsel my custody case trial date to 6 months apart which no judge will do that. Attorney Marinaro did it without consulting me without my permission he made a decision without my consent just to get more money out of my case causing me and my family stress and money he end up losing my case, a case that I had all the prove to win and now my child is suffering the consequences !! Yeah that's right I guess he thought I would never find out and he could get away with it I asked and confronted him twice in his office wondering why my case was taking so long why would the judge take 6 months to schedule my case and he blame everything on the judge knowing that no judge can extend your case this long lying right in front of me when it was all him doing my case the lazy way because he didn't have the time he was never prepared for conference and the trials he was always missing papers from my files right before going into court.Even my family and friends and even other professionals involved in my case told me they don't trust him that he wasn't doing my case right and that he didn't seem prepared but I was desperate in my situation. They never return my calls.I had an emergency with my child and I was calling the office 5 days explaining to them what happened to her and what should I do and not once my call was returned you can't even talk to the front desk with being place on hold and like this many time this happened. In the middle of my case he goes and changes me to a new lawyer I believe her name is Loraine because he didn't have any time for my case he made me pay for her services too when I already payed him, after sending her to chambers with my case which I can't say she isn't a good lawyer because I didn't use her services for long but she didn't have no idea or knew anything about my case while I am trying to talk to her explain to her what happened in my case she told me shut up I find it totally rude when I was paying for my time and just asking what was right for my daughters safety . The only time attorney Marinaro returned my call and contacted me was on December after he loses my case to recommend me to do something else that when I interviewed more than 5 attorneys they told me not to do it that this will make me look crazy and get things worse that it looks like the attorney who recommended that for you just trying to get more money out of me is almost like he lost my case to make more money . He is a scammer with the worst reputation in court and in front of the judges too one thing he know what to do is talked you into getting more money out you . If he lied and hide such a delicate information like this from me he probably does it to many of his clients what he did was illegal and unprofessional. read more

We started out with high hopes with the marinaro law firm. Unfortunately for us we only received disappointment after disappointment from them. The office would not take our case seriously since the judge forced the law firm to take our case. Since we did not pay cash for this law firm and the judge made marinaro take our case, the law office was not making as much money on our case as it would have if they were hired straight out from us. This law office was unprepared for all of our hearings even after the judge instructed them to get everything in order and take it seriously.
