They lost our first batch of passport pictures, which is unprofessional, but forgivable. At first, everything was going well, until I checked online at our case status and started getting letters in the mail that our G-28 was rejected in March because it was improperly filed. I called our paralegal and explained the situation to her. She misinformed me and assured me that it had been filed. It had not. Had I been another person and not checked back in, it would have sat like that. We once again had to go into the office to physically sign the documents so they wouldn't get "lost." I asked for copies and certified mail receipts because it became clear that this firm is lax in keeping documents secure. We paid for a service, and that was representation. According to USCIS, that never got resolved and we basically paid to not be represented. And they never sent us copies of anything else I asked for. From there it only got worse, we kept receiving notices in the mail as the process kept moving forward. Our attorney's were in the dark and had no idea what was going on with our case until WE called them and informed them that we had an interview. We met with the attorney to prep, and then he didn't even show up to our interview. We waited for him for over an hour. It seems highly unprofessional to double book themselves when they know how important this day is for someone. Especially, since I am in the Armed Forces, they clearly have no respect for people's time. We contacted the front office and they would not give us any contact information. They just told us to wait. That is terrible customer service. We waited for over an hour past our interview time and ultimately had to go in without our attorney. They never called back to see how it went, or to check up on us, or to even offer an apology. When my husband needed help today, the owner Shawn told him that "Thanks to their good work the process went so smoothly and that he shouldn't be complaining or think he can 'go in to the office whenever he wants' even though my husband called on the phone and wasn't even in the office. He wouldn't even hear my husband out. We are clients and we have the right to ask questions and seek guidance for what we paid for. This is a law firm that has clearly shown that they only care about taking advantage and money from people who are too afraid to speak up or don't speak English. People without a legal status would see them as a shining light, but as a citizen, I can see them for what they are; a firm built on shitty customer service covered in the praise of people who don't know that they deserve to be treated better.
