Mariolka's was my daughter's first experience trying on wedding gowns and I am so happy we went here! Marie greeted us along with her adorable dogs and made us feel comfortable right from the start. I chose Mariolka's because my daughter is easily overwhelmed and I wanted a smaller store so that she would feel relaxed. Even though the store is smaller, the gown selection/quality is excellent. There was no "yes to the dress" just yet and I paid the $25 consultation fee which will be applied to a gown if my daughter choose one from here. Mariolka's was a great place with a variety of wedding dress options. It has a vintage feel. It is by appointment early and they seem to be strict about that. At our arrival, we checked in and awaited the appointed staff to assist us. She introduced herself to us and the bride told her her vision. From there, the employee encouraged us in the bridal party to help the bride look for dresses. They seemed to hav a good variety of wedding dresses but what I did not like was that they were no photos of the dresses attached to each dress so that we can see how it actually looks on a person. So that frustrated us a bit and made searching for the dresses overwhelming. There was only one large show room. It had a runway for the brides trying on the dresses and seating for accompanying guests. I did not like that there were no private show rooms, however it wasn't horrible getting a chance to see the other brides and getting an idea of how other dresses looked. Also, everyone was so friendly so we all gave input into different dresses the brides tried on. There were three other brides there when we went. My friend did find THE dress here. It fit her like a glove! Funny thing is, we found the same dress at another boutique but not in the ivory color the bride wanted. So we were really excited that Mariolka's had the exact color and size. We put a veil on her, played music, and had her walk down the runway. The waterworks commenced immediately! She was such a gorgeous bride in the perfect dress. The employee was very helpful. Also, they had cute signs for guests to use. Good wedding dress shopping experience at this boutique. read more

I made an appointment over the phone. No one ever mentioned a $25 charge for an appointment. After picking out all of the dresses to try on and undressing in the dressing room to put the first dress on, I noticed the signs stating their policy. I felt like I could not stop the appointment at this point. I felt deceived since no one told me upfront. In fact, no one mentioned a single word about the fee until the appointment was over. The consultant asked me to fill out my information and then asked me for payment. I will not be purchasing a gown from this boutique due to this experience. There are plenty of boutiques that have beautiful gowns, do not charge a fee, and are not deceitful. read more

Attention to detail is so lacking. First time coming here I called telling them the full bridal party (of 7) will be coming in and what kind of dresses we were seeking to give them a heads up. I go in almost 30 minutes prior and there is only one person working the store! This wedding was almost 11 months away and would be our first in store visit. Since they were short staffed and bride would be coming from Broward we told the bride to say the gas and we've checked out place without her. We waited forever in the front desk waiting area. We're lead to the back room and for the most part left alone. The consultants showed us a rank of items that were on sale and then was gone for 15 minutes or more. The bridesmaid/evening dresses were beautiful but seemed extremely expensive. A few weeks later, I return with the bride. This visit was much better than the first. There were at least 2 other people in the shop helping brides. She tried on several dresses, they pinned the dress to show her how it would be expected to fit once alterations were complete. Just friendly easy going service. A month later, we found the exact dress at another shop for nearly $300 less than advertised here. I return again in October looking for two bridesmaid dresses. This was for a destination wedding occurring in December. Expedite shipping was not available - no surprise. So I start looking for dresses off the rack. I walked in saying that I was looking for two of the same dress. I spend over an hour pulling items that I want (again no help) and finally find something. I've been doing this mostly alone in the store. The lady helping comes back and tells me that there is only one dress in every style? I could have walked out the door and saved an hour if she told me that when I walked in telling her - Destination wedding in December and need TWO dresses. When it comes to brides this place pulls out all the bells and whistles and gives you undivided attention. But for bridesmaids do it yourself and that's average. read more

My entire experience at Mariolka's was a DREAM!!! My wedding dress shopping started and ended at Mariolka's because I found the dress at my very first dress appointment! I chose Mariolka's Bridal Boutique because I grew up in Boynton Beach and because they are one of the VERY limited number of bridal boutiques that carry the Disney Weddings collection! Having a Disney Fairy Tale Wedding, I needed to book my appointment here! My mom and sister were with me and we were promptly greeted by the mother/daughter duo and their sweet store pup!! These ladies are the real deal pros. They've been in this industry for so long and know exactly what they are doing! I was able to try on 20+ dresses. Anything I thought looked good or possibly thought I might like, I was allowed to try on! Jess was so efficient and worked so hard to accommodate EVERYTHING for me. I went back to dress #2! It was definitely the one!!! My dress wasn't even part of the Disney Collection like I thought I wanted, but I am so glad that I was able to try on what I thought I wanted! I recommend dress shopping here 1000%. These ladies are so kind, but also don't give any B.S. which quickly made us trust them. These ladies want you to find the perfect dress so they are really not pushy, but I really think that your dream dress will be in their store when you go. The selection they carry is outstanding!!!!!! The shopping process was honestly too easy, the alterations 5 months later was such a breeze, and overall the entire experience was truly magical. After waiting for about a second, the gentleman at the front desk told me to just go back and help myself...which I did. I found a beautiful gown in the color that would blend in well with the bridal party! Furthermore, it was 75% of the original price. I purchased it and set up a day for the fitting. I can say nothing but the very best about Mariolkas and her bridal boutique. After an absolutely terrible experience at another popular bridal store in the area (after which bride-to-be went home sobbing with no dress) she was an answer to prayers. She spends a good deal of time making sure the entire experience is excellent beginning to end. She listens to what a customer wants, and helps the mother of the bride and bridesmaids out as well. A smaller boutique with much higher level of customer service than I have found anywhere else, you cannot go wrong choosing Mariolka's over the other bridal stores in the Boca and Deerfield area. Her assistants are helpful knowledgeable and patient and do not rush you out the door in 2 hours, we took 5 hours to find the perfect dress and they were not rushing us. Avoid at all costs!!!!!! Bridal NIGHTMARE! Let's start by saying it's a shame that 1 star has to even be awarded. Where to begin? My BEST FRIEND'S dress was dropped off to the OWNER over 7 months ago for alterations. My friend was using material from a wedding dress that was passed down from her mother. This dress was made of authentic german silk and lace, and Mariolka assured her that she was familiar with altering these materials. The bride explained in detail exactly what she wanted and was confident they were on the same page. WELL, it turns out that Mariolka had these pieces to make her wedding dress for 7 months and had ruined them .... but never told the bride until now.... TWO WEEKS BEFORE HER INTERNATIONAL WEDDING! The german lace was cut incorrectly and did not fit, the tulle skirt she sold her was dyed an ivory color.... my friend NEVER asked for it to be dyed ivory!! Now she is stuck with a 2 piece wedding dress that is not salvageable and is two different colors. Mariolka didn't even offer an option to fix it or make it right, just told her she couldn't finish or fix it?!! She had 7 months to let her know so she could make other arrangements, and now she will barely have time to figure it out!!!!! Unacceptable!!!!! The bride is very upset due to the lack of communication, and rightfully so. Instead of Mariolka showing some sort of remorse for the mistake, or compassion for the situation, Mariolka was CHARGING the bride $300 for the work that she did and began cursing F bombs and screaming back at the bride. Thats not all, Mariolka even went as far as mocking the german silk and lace material from her family heirloom questioning the authenticity and referring to it as cheap. In total the bride paid this "seamstress" $1,000 to be left without a dress 2 weeks before her big day, to me that is absurd! You can see that there are reviews from other women saying that they feel they were ripped off too as well as customer service lacking. This is not a hospitable nor professional place. There are so many great bridal boutiques and seamstresses to choose from, do yourself a favor and skip this one. read more

I visited this Bridal Boutique for my sister's wedding. I am the maid of honor. I am 5'8", 130 pounds (thin, not curvy). They took my measurements and ordered a dress that was supposedly my size. At the first fitting, I couldn't breath without popping the zipper (No, I had not gained weight). The straps were also too long and they indicated they would raise them, up as well as take out the dress a bit so I could breathe. At the second fitting, the dress was still way too tight (I am still the same weight). They had to lower the clasp, in-store, during this second fitting, below the ribbon, and sewed by hand, a makeshift loop for the clasp so it would attach. This makes the ribbon in the back of the dress not line up, and the sew job was so terrible all of the threads were showing and the fabric does line up correctly. The same was true for the sew job on the straps. I mentioned this to the staff and they said they would press the dress and it would look fine. They then charged me $75 for alterations and sent me on my way with the dress already in the bag. I am so dissatisfied with the service and embarrassed to wear this dress at my sisters wedding. I absoulutly loved this huge show room of gowns! They have the largest showroom of wedding dresses! I worked with the owner Mariokla herself , I really loved my gown that I selected . She did all the hemming right on the premise so I felt safe that my gown was there the whole time ! The price was just above my budget but, I splurged , I had too ! DRESS FELL APART right before my wedding!!!!!!!!!!!!! If i could do no stars i would. It all started good i found a dress became excited... She told me once it was paid off she will do alterations. I paid my dress off out of no where the women became rude to me... I guess because she already got my money. I took my mother to get her dress there and they ignored us. we had to look ourselves. Worst thing is that after paying 2,600 for my dress when she said i was all paid off. I got a bill for alterations that was over $400!!!!!!!!! I simply asked her why didn't she tell me anything?! She (owner) was so rude to me saying you need to read fine print. Yes it said alterations are not included in the tiny print she showed me ( make sure you read it) its good business practice to quote someone before you work. $400 a week before my wedding day was a horrible surprise for me and my husband. I would have never gotten my dress alterations from her. In Miami i have a guy who would have done it for $100-150 because i work in the industry. Anyways I paid for my alterations and $400 was a fucking waste. The day of my wedding my mother in law noticed that the buttons to lift my dress up after ceremony were all broken... all of the elastic bands where just broken off... before i even put the dress on. ( so i couldn't dance all night and people where stepping on me and i would fall on the floor!!!!!!) Once it was time for me to get into it the dress....for my wedding day. We noticed the top button fell off too. We seriously just touched it. I wasn't even in it yet. I put it on with one button off saying fuck it because I needed to be at the venue in 5 min. IM IN THE HOLDING ROOM!!! The dress kept slipping off of me. It was not sitting on me right, and my father walked in and stepped on my dress, because guess what!! MY HOLDER WAS ALSO BROKEN!! I couldn't hold my dress or button it up. Back to holding room. My sister in-law was trying to sew me into the dress and I was trying to keep calm. she closed it for me for the ceremony. After ceremony for the FIRST DANCE!!!!!!! We had placed safety pins on my dress to hold it up so I can dance.. It ruined everything. safety pins unhooked and poked me. the dress wouldn't stay up... I couldn't have my first dance I always dreamt about as a little girl. During the party i couldn't dance with friends , My husband, or move around. It just kept falling apart... The straps were ripping off ( you can see in picture) I actually flashed some of my guest because it was not sitting right so when i bent down Whoops the girls would show. BEAUTIFUL WEDDING MEMORY!! Everyone could tell I was sad.. I tried to keep my head up but, I didn't enjoy my night at all. After wedding.... I had to wait a week to even look at the dress... I couldn't go call her because I didn't want to explode on the lady. My husband took care of it. He said she was rude to him too... could give two fucks about what happened. Made so many excuses. He didn't even bother to ask her to get it cleaned when she fixed it. Another thing when he dropped it off... they said come pick it up in a week... we called them and the store was closed for two more weeks... two weeks later she admitted that she had the dress done the day after he dropped it off. Didn't bother to call us to come get it.. so I had to wait almost a month to get it back!!!! HORRIBLE! In my opinion they will be super sweet to you before you buy. The sec you put your deposit you kinda in the back burner. That or it was a race thing. I feel like I was treated horribly. Ladies you know how it is ... your wedding dress is your dream dress. Don't get alterations from Mariolka's Bridal Boutique. My best friend got married last weekend, on January 17, 2015. She purchased her wedding dress from Mariolka's Bridal Boutique for $1250, then paid an additional $735 for alterations from them. Her dress was supposed to be a completely open back, with tight-fitting straps to secure it from falling down. When she tried the dress on her wedding day, the straps were falling off her shoulders and she began to cry as 10+ people at the wedding tried to find a solution for about an hour. We finally had to resort to fishing line, which was uncomfortable for her & not the look she wanted at her wedding. Mariolka's Bridal was unapologetic and refused to refund her any of the $735 she paid for alterations. This should never happen to another bride again! read more

As a soon to be bride, I am constantly looking for bridal shops that are close to the Boca raton/ boynton area. I was very happy to find this place on yelp and decided to book a consult appointment. I brought along my family to the appointment and we were all treated fairly well by the staff. Once you arrive, you are assigned a personal shopper, and you go over your style and start picking out a few dresses. They keep their dresses in great condition, and there are many styles to choose from. Everything was going excellent up until I tried on a dress that I absolutely loved. My personal shopper had left mid way my appointment to have lunch and someone else stepped in to continue the rest of my appointment. Since i was in a great mood, I did mind, but it did come off as unprofessional to swap out employees during an appointment.. Then, I asked my new personal shopper to let my family know the price of the gown I had on. That's when the problem occurred. she misquoted the price by $500 and we were really considering putting down a deposit. When to our surprise we are then told it is $500 more.. The owner was there and did not honor the original price we were quoted, in fact, she argued that we misunderstood what the employee said. Needless to say, that was a $3,700 dollar mistake. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS STORE. If you are a bridesmaid, convince your bride to get the dress elsewhere. Three major reasons. 1. We were told dresses would arrive end of March. End of April, I have the dress. I have the dress 2 weeks before the wedding. This is hardly time to tailor. 2. They UP CHARGE. The dress I purchased is $240 at all other stores. Nordstrom sold the dress and they include tailoring. At Mariolka's it was $262. WHY? Tailoring was not included. Shipping wasn't included either. Expedited dresses clearly wasn't. Why Mariolka are you upcharging? 3. When I gave the store my measurements, they recommended two sizes up from what I ordered. I told them I wear between a 4-6 dress and they recommended with confidence a 10. They told me, this is not normal sizing, this is bridesmaid sizing. What the heck is bridesmaid sizing? So I did not listen to their advice and ordered the 6, which they made me put in email that I was going against their advice. No problem, they want to cover themselves. I get it. The dress arrived today. I retook my measurements, which sadly were bigger, and the 6 still fits. No tailoring needed, just the hem of the gown which at 5'8 and in three inch heels still needed 5 inches off the length. One of the other bridesmaids is a size 0, they recommended a 6 to her. Another bridesmaid has enough room in her dress to put on 40 pounds. So, if you are forced to buy from this store, know this, there is no such things as "bridesmaid" sizing. Research the dress and see what people have to say. I went to the designer website for the dress we bought, looked at their sizing chart and found, per the bridesmaid dress designer I was a 6. Per the store, I was a 10. I do believe some dresses run small, but not enough to push you 2-3 sizes up from what you normally wear. It felt like they were trying to drive business to their tailoring. In one sentence, go elsewhere, if you can't, get your normal size and send in a negotiator to get a good price. read more

This has been the worst bridal gown shopping experience. Upon my dislike of a botched bridal top, I inherited, the shop owner published pictures of me at my checkout, which is a major privacy concern to me. Not only are the owners of this shop not understanding that they have ruined my top and left me under the false impression that they could fulfill my dream of a wedding gown, but also have they charged me for, really, property damage and sold me a skirt that did not even match my top in color. In addition, they are accusing me of wrongfully handling the pick up of my dress and now published video footage of me checking out and obviously expressing my frustration, after I have paid hundreds of dollars for a bride grown I came to find out, wasn't ready 14 days before my destination wedding. This boutique is nothing but perfection! My sisters and I all bought our wedding gowns here and we loved every second of the process. The staff is so friendly, fun, and experienced; not once did we feel pressured or rushed to make a decision. Their customer service simply does not compare to others, they are so accommodating and do everything they can to make sure that you & your party feel welcomed. Plus they let you pick as many gowns as you want, no limit! Most bridal boutiques gave us an hour time slot and rushed us out the door once it was completed but Mariolka's lets you stay for as long as you'd like (within reason of course haha!). They have such a large selection of wedding gowns (over 1,000 to be exact) it was so hard not to get lost in all of the glitter, lace, & tulle! The whole experience was absolutely amazing and my sisters and I could not be happier. We are so lucky & glad that we all fell into the hands of Mariolka. She is such a talented seamstress, you can definitely tell that she's been doing this for a VERY long time. She altered all of our gowns to perfection and we all got nothing but compliments on how well our dresses were tailored to us. Ladies, if you are looking for a boutique that will make you feel beautiful, special, and welcomed, look no further! This is the ONLY boutique in South Florida that you will need to visit. Initially I was very happy with my experience at Mariolkas Bridal until it actually came to my wedding day. At my first fitting I forgot to bring my underwire pads for my dress because the ones with the dress were too small. When I went back to try my dress on after the alterations is when I gave them to her to have them sewn in and to be ready for my wedding day. I should have looked before I left when picking my dress up but I trusted that my dress would have been perfect being these alterations were done at the actual place I purchased my dress, she was so lovely in the beginning. When it came to my wedding day I took my dress out and saw the left side of my dress the padding completely fell apart. The stitching was absolutely terrible. You could see the bra through my dress which was a plunging V neckline so there was no way of hiding it. When I spoke to her on the phone her tone of voice towards me... I was beyond surprised. Basically making me feel like it was my fault and that I did something, this dress was never messed with after I left that store the day before. Her words to me in a high pitched voice "That is absolutely ridiculous, no way should of happened, we do this as a courtesy, for free, get a safety pin" I never even spoke about pricing or getting money back for alterations so for her to bring that up? I paid $450 for alterations, that SHOULD have been included in the alterations, that isn't a "courtesy" stitching. I would have paid an extra $100 to have it DONE RIGHT. And a safety pin? What bride wants a safety pin in front of her sheer plunging V dress. Thank GOD my step sister knows how to sew and she fixed it for me. I had to have my bridesmaid go out and get me thread and pins. My friend got her bridal dress from the store and loved it, but the alterations were poor. She was told to use a safety pin to fix an issue that was sewn incorrectly. She was told this right before putting her dress on for the ceremony. That is not quality customer service! Shame on the alterations department. read more

Mariolka and her family are the best! They are professional and extremely helpful. They make you feel like a part of their family. They don't try to push a more expensive option on you or try to convince you to purchase something that you're not sold on. I recently purchased my wedding gown from Mariolka's and it came in a perfect fit other than the length. I have purchased numerous bridesmaids dresses and they have been almost perfect fits every time. I've only ever needed minor alterations. I could not ask for a better bridal boutique! read more

I didn't even make it in the door to this place. I am recently engaged and live in a different state than my MOH, bridesmaids and mother. Called earlier today, a man answered (wished I would've asked his name) and I asked to make an appointment to visit the bridal salon when I fly into town in 3 weeks. He proceeded to set up a date and time, then at the end of the conversation, asks me if I am going to purchase my gown from them. Keep in mind, I have yet to try on any gown, period. He then says they get people that come in just to try on gowns and they don't like that. Ok, understandable, but you don't tell potential customers that. I asked about a specific designer, who is very reasonably priced, and his attitude changed. Its as if he judged me before meeting me. I will not be shopping at this salon and do not appreciate the way I was spoken to. By the way, my budget is unlimited. Thanks. read more

My first impression of this place was for my sisters fitting... we arrived EARLY and were being rushed the entire time. When my dress was finished, I told Mariolka about my straps being too tight, she adjusted them and assured me it would be fine. Come the wedding, my sisters dress was falling apart & my straps were so tight it caused my skin to raise. I definitely wouldn't recommend this place to ANYONE! Stay clear... Customer service & attention to detail is lacking BIG TIME at this place. read more

I was brought here by a friend of mine and I had a wonderful experience. I told the sales associates what I was going for and the first dress they brought to me was the one I bought. No one made me feel pressured to buy accessories or try on more expensive gowns as they had at other boutiques, and they did a great job on the alterations. read more
