To locate private parking directly in front of the business within Mizner Park was a rare find. At first glance, the modern exterior was inviting and the showroom was clean and well organized with a plethora of multi faceted attire. The open floor plan had several brightly lit white crystal chandaliers hovering above the center of the room allowing the various colors of the gowns to pop and the sequins sparkle. The modern industrial decor continued throughout, boasting a stunning black metal spiral staircase leading up to the second level to the admin offices. A matching black metal railing overlooked the open showroom providing a visual effect of even a more spacious area. Immediately, we were greeted by the super personable assistant named Debbie, who asked a few painless questions and went to work locating some gowns that may be a suitable fit to the wife's intense agenda. The first batch of sample gowns from Sherry Hill and Jovani were an excellent match for the wife's liking and even though she looked riveting, they were slightly too snug. The pricing were very competitive and a few gowns were half price. We will continue to check in here for updated inventory during the next few months. Less than 24 hours after purchasing my dress, I experienced buyer's remorse and immediately reached…read moreout. I was initially told that canceling was possible. What followed instead was one of the most uncomfortable, manipulative sales experiences of my life. I was pressured, cornered, and made to feel foolish and dramatic for having second thoughts. Rather than honoring the cancellation, they coerced me into believing I should keep the dress and "fix" it by essentially redesigning the entire gown--for an additional $2,000. This was presented as my only option. Any attempt to cancel was shut down with "there's nothing we can do," despite the dress being completely untouched. I repeatedly asked for help. I repeatedly said I did not want the dress. Over the course of three months, I followed up countless times (at least 15) trying to find a reasonable solution. The dress was not custom, not altered, and cost $1,800--in a store that regularly sells dresses for $10,000+. I offered multiple compromises: sell it in-store, keep a portion, refund only part of the cost, literally anything. I was never expecting a full refund. I was expecting basic problem-solving and empathy. Instead, I was met with rigidity, dismissiveness, and zero accountability. No solutions. No compassion. No effort. The final insult? I was told that if I didn't come pick up a dress I clearly stated I did not want, they would donate it. After taking my money, refusing every reasonable alternative, and ignoring months of communication, they threatened to give it away. That is not policy--that is punishment. Brides, be warned: once they have your money, you are no longer a person to them. You are a transaction. If anything goes wrong, you are on your own. This experience was stressful, humiliating, and completely avoidable if this business had even a shred of customer care. I would never recommend this store to anyone--especially not during what is supposed to be one of the most meaningful moments of your life.
