When I went to train, I was unexpectedly informed that my membership had been canceled. The owner and Powerlifting coach mentioned it was "nothing personal" and that they wanted to avoid any drama with me and the other members. Despite this, I was the only one who faced such a punishment, which felt extremely one- sided and unfair. This situation has not only disrupted my training routine but has also left me questioning the gym's management and their commitment to treating all members equally. We agreed that I could return after a 3 month ban set to return on March 1st 2025 and when I did he let me train for one day before texting me at 4am the next day saying that he would "pass" on my membership. I hope the gym reconsiders how they handle such situations in the future, as no member should feel unfairly targeted. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this gym unless changes are made in their membership policies and dispute resolution process. He also gets to try out a martial arts class where he received his very own Gi and belt! That's pretty sweet if ya ask me! .... The communication between staff and parents has been superb and I honestly am pleasantly surprised with how organized everything has been! I will add, that prices are a little steep, BUT in all fairness you do get your moneys worth! And if summer camp isn't your style, the martial arts center also has an after school program! We are excited we joined the martial arts center and look forward to the rest of the summer!!!
