Triston was super kind as this was my first time at Lake Sumter. He signed my sister and myself in and gave us the rundown with a tour. There's ample parking with many parking lots to choose from, at every angle. It's located in The Villages with many restaurants in the area and a Barnes and Noble. I am considering going OTF because I did enjoy the class and the amount of calories burnt. There's various Times to choose from for whichever time schedule you preferred. I worked out with Renee and it was a great time. PLUS the other classmates were SUPER encouraging and that made me think of this is the community I want to be in. Lake Sumter The Village OTF was clean and a good vibe.

The people who work here are pleasant but not overly friendly but that's OK. The WiFi works well...much better than LA Fitness. I've seen concerns expressed about the termination of the contract process. It was not that difficult when I did it to go to LA Fitness. It was a little bit more of a hassle since you had to send a letter to the home office...but not that bad. In fact, I think they told me when I joined again that they now handle it in-house. Overall a good deal for the price. The equipment is rarely overcrowded and every thing is kept in good working condition and reasonably clean!

Most of the gym equipment looks like it came from a yard sale honestly and things remain broken for very long periods of time. The contract terms were misrepresented to me at signing, but I should have known better and that's my fault--don't ever sign up when someone has you sign electronically. The gym is tiny. Like, think if you're there with 4 other people, you'll be cramped and won't have anywhere to lift weights. There is one machine for use in virtually any regard except cardio, so expect to wait for long periods of time before anything opens up. Immediate buyer's remorse. They make it unduly burdensome to cancel even pursuant to the instructions in the contract. The place is a complete joke by ANY standard and not worth even their minimum membership fee. I'd give this place zero stars if I could because not only is it terrible, but my salesperson was dishonest/negligent at signing.

I found out later that they made an unauthorized charge against my card after I quit... The manager is very aggressive and rude... I'd never go back there
