Service and food are the best. Server was easily found when I needed him. I love all the plates that I have tried.

Ok here's the deal! Me and m wife went for a late lunch (3:30) in time for the lunch special (which ends at 4:00pm) we ordered "The Lunch special" which is what we do every time. The server brought us our meal but this time it came with a bowl of fish soup! (Red Flag?) So we asked , Is this "The Lunch special? and she replied, Oh yes it comes with soup and entree and two sides! So we started thinking they had not been giving us our soups all this time???? So we finish our meal and our bill was higher than usual. So we asked up front why we were getting charged more? The Manager said Oh you must of ordered the "Combo"????? We said Nooooo we ordered the "Lunch Special" and the manager said why didn't you say something? And we said We did! After arguing with the manager blaming us for the mistake , I just said screw it I'll pay and you can take the tip out of the bill! Ok guys has anyone known about a "lunch special and a combo special? In my years of going there I never knew they had two choices! What a disgusting way to end a good meal! My husband and I went for a club meeting. Our food took 1 hour from time of ordering. I had the fajita tacos which finally came but cold and without avocado which took 30 more minutes to get. The boracho beans were so salty they were inedible without putting the rice in them to cut some of the salt. My husband ordered the burger with fries which were both cold. Almost everyone in the group complained about their food. No looking to go back there. read more

This has been one of my very places since I lived in Laredo. Every time I go home I have to come here cause I love their fried seafood platter it is amazing. You also have to have their Sherman cocktail it is to die for. They have remodeled and it's so cool inside now they have live music on the weekends totally worth going. read more

This evening I utilized the Door Dash app on my pocket rocket to order up some grub. While not being completely sure what I was hungry for I quickly realized that this place could cover both of my favorites at one time, Mexican and Seafood. I did have some concerns with the mixed reviews on this social media platform as well as the Facebook reviews. While using the app and going through there menu I requested Guacamole and chips, the shrimp quesadillas with grilled onions cheese and shrimp only, the shrimp ceviche and a small shrimp cocktail. It was 34 minutes from order to arrival of my food. It certainly looked like I was ordering for a party with the multiple food containers and cups not to mention the bag that was filled with limes, packs of hot sauce and crackers as well as a half dozen sets of utensils and napkins. They must have thought I was having a party as well. Overall I really only have one complaint but back to that in a minute. I really did over do it with this order and the packaging as well as the presentation upon open my boxes was satisfactory to me. The shrimp appeared fresh it wasn't over cooked, the small shrimp cocktail was quite tasty and gosh there must have been a dozen smaller shrimp in the bottom of the cup. The ceviche was crisp but lacked the kick I am used to, the guacamole was creamy and not bland with plentiful chips and pico as well. Now for my complaint, when I order my food whatever it may be I'm am always specific as to how I would like it prepared! The only special consideration that I requested was the quesadillas contain shrimp,cheese and grilled onions only. What I got was quesadillas with tomatoes cilantro and cheese, the grilled onions that I requested was not in the quesadilla as I requested but on the side in a separate container however they were plentiful and cooked well I ate them anyways! I give them 4 stars only because the lack of concern for my request. All in all still a good meal with generous portions great flavor and great packaging to ensure the presentation upon opening. So if you are in the area and hunting Mexican and or seafood y'all come by and give them a try hopefully you get the same great serve and value that did. read more

We stopped at Mariscos el Pescador hoping for some seafood and traditional Mexican food and were not disappointed! The wait staff, all Spanish speaking but using a little English, were very attentive and extremely friendly. We ordered two things and shared, the shrimp tostadas and the house specialty platter with steak, enchiladas, and shrimp quesadilla. The tostadas were hands down the best, with fresh cilantro and pico and huge chunks of yummy avocado on top. I'd come back to this place any day and in fact really liked sitting on the covered patio outside to enjoy our meal. read more

My brother and I had a nice dinner here. The place is huge, and very modern and upscale as not too many in Laredo on my that side if town. My first visit and his 3rd. He decided on the Large Red Snapper a la tabasquena , sauce with more seafood on top. He loved it and said big enough for 3 meals( I agree) I ordered the Shrimp Originales which was bacon wrapped shrimp and entree came with 2 sides. I asked if I could substitute one side for salad? Waitress said no problem l. She was friendly and checked on us, however the kitchen was slooow. It took 45 -50 tinge tour meals, hence the 4 stars. We will be back and you should definitely try out! Be patient it's worth it. Today I was craving shrimp and lucky enough for me I found that at Marisco's El Pescador. My waiter Joe was very helpful in helping us choose items from the menu he was very courteous and expedited every portion of the meal. Large shrimp cocktail is almost a meal in itself but when you're craving shrimp you just got to go for the gusto I had the steam shrimp, and they were nothing short of fantastic. Ready to burst at that point Joe said the cheesecake was amazing and it was covered and fresh strawberries and that it was!!! Minecraft girlfriend Dr. Denise Tonetta was enjoying this as much as I we both shared four margaritas, !!! I can't wait till later! You must try the one on Shiloh Drive and if you see him ask for Joe a great waiter with a great personality and will help you through your meal By helping you make choices. read more

Go here to drink you'll love it, I mean it, hell even if you want a cocktail and good service go here too! The service here is good and it's a good place to meet up with friends and family but if this is food that calls it self a seafood restaurant then you're gonna be disappointed. The seafood is edible but not good as places locally such as la mariscana or even Lolita's but if you wanna watch a game and drink go here! read more

When I lived in Laredo this was one of my favorite spots. Now I just miss it until I get to go back home for a visit. A few of my favorites: Fish Soup, Shrimp Cocktail with avocado, onion and cilantro, the shrimp roll and the Veracruz style filet. It is worth noting that the restaurant does not over salt their dishes and I find that i need to add to my taste once I have received the plate, especially for the Shrimp roll. I also make sure to add a generous amount of La Costena jalapeno sauce to the shrimp roll, the shrimp cocktail and the filet. The food is consistently good and affordable. The shrimp a la diabla were yummy but I ordered a fish ceviche tostada as an appetizer and the fish was horrid. I thought I was going to get sick... Disappointing. Also, I know it's a family restaurant but there was too many kids running around and yelling in the restaurant even though they do have a kids playground. Can't blame the restaurant for the parents not putting an end to the yelling but the servers could've brought it up to them and suggested the playground. read more

Atmosphere has a cool modern look, staff is friendly, and food was delicious n hot. I had the fried fish n fried oysters. I ordered the mariscda for 1. Food was okay. We came here for the margarita specials. The margarita was way to sweet. The waitress was not very friendly. What was a problem was the live mariache music which was deafening loud. I like mariache music i just don't like to feel like my ear drums are going to burst. read more

The server was not too knowledgeable about the menu. He did not know how to describe different plates. He wasn't aware of the differences. When the server came to check on us my partner complained about his plate. The server was unsure what to do to accommodate to his liking. My partner ordered the fried catfish it was chewy, slimy, unseasoned, and did not stick to the breading. (Didn't seem it was cooked correctly) I on the other hand loved my plate. PATHETIC!! I ordered a pasta and I know its a seafood restaurant but last time i went it was good. And the playground was torn at the top.

I'm a veggie-eater, and the only veggie-friendly dish on the menu are the chips and guacamole. I ordered 2 steamed veggie side dishes to help fill my belly. Laredo is a tough market for this, but it would be great to see vegetarian dishes on these menus in the near future. read more

We ordered the "Shrimp Roll" and after we took a bite we spat it out. It was by FAR the worst thing we have ever tasted in our lives. In fact, we left our dishes untouched! The rice was dry and the bread was hard. No wonder the parking lot was empty during the weekend. Avoid this place unless you want food that tastes like wet cardboard.
