First off the studio was beautiful, brand new and had many different sets and backdrops. The space is a work/loft area with awesome natural light. I have been a fan of outdoor photo shoots in the past, but with a 2 1/2 year old boy & 7 month baby girl it can be difficult to get them to focus and have fun. The Grimm Photography studio has made me a huge fan of indoor photo shoots, I don't have to worry about the elements (in Vegas the wind has gotten fierce on many days!), outside distractions and random people wandering around in the background. Let me just say it was not just the photographer that was actively involved in our shoot, but the owner and studio manager as well. Getting a 7 month old baby to look at the camera much less smile is a feat in itself, the owner was amazingly good at making her laugh and smile consistently! My son also enjoyed himself and willingly played and laughed at the antics of the owner and studio manager. I enjoyed the entire experience, but most importantly so did my husband! The staff spent about 2 hours on our photo shoot and were very patient, attentive the entire time and extremely polite. I would say they all enjoy their jobs and it is very evident. To say I was excited to receive the pictures is an understatement, and they did NOT disappoint! "Some retouching" was applied but looked natural, I honestly could not tell the difference, just that the colors and photos seemed to pop. I absolutely loved our photos, the kids looked natural and my husband and I looked relaxed. I finally have pictures of our family that I am proud to show my friends and pass out to my family. We were gifted with a 16x20 photo canvas and the quality of the image was spectacular. I have purchased many canvases from online companies and the one I received from Grimm is by far the best in clarity and color. They print and make the photos and frames on site which I believe contributes to better quality control. I will definitely return to Grimm for future photo shoots, the entire family thoroughly enjoyed the experience but most important had fun doing it!

The Gist of It: I got the full-service planning package with Jessie at Everglow Events and I'm so…read morehappy I did! Working with everglow flowed better than I imagined. Jessie was prepared, patient (covid replanning), in the know with vendors, responsive and truly cared about what I wanted and how we were going to achieve it. She kept me grounded and sane all while being pleasant and very excited for my big day. I was so grateful to have her by my side for this whole process. THE BEGINNING STAGES: My mind was all over the board for themes I liked. I must have switched about 3 times. Jessie was able to rein in my décor dreams, keep me on a clear color scheme, show me venues within my budget, and was able to provide her décor ideas as well. She went through an extensive questionnaire with me, we met many times and she helped me identify my must-haves for the wedding which were personalized touches, a unique arch, and a very memorable venue. Because we planned during covid I had to change-up my plans. Everglow helped me redirect the process more than once. I ended up changing venues, moving to something smaller and streaming the wedding virtually for all 300 original guests. Jessie eased my guilt and reminded me it was my day and really felt like a confidant throughout that whole process. I had a lot of sales people trying to convince me everything would be fine, so I'm glad Jessie helped me stand my ground and supported me through that. Also this girl was full of so many "wedding hacks", which makes sense because she's been in the wedding industry working for large hotels for years! For example: I really wanted an old fashioned car for photos. She recommended using flowers for the sweetheart table that could double on the back of the car with a just married sign! Genius!! THE TIMELINE: The timeline really is the meat and potoatoes and the part I didn't realize was so important. Jessie built me a very focused and detailed timeline for the rehearsal dinner and the day of (when I say she thinks of everything I mean it). There were sections of the timeline dedicated to things like drop off décor to set up team, or quickly grab a snack. This might have been the most important part of the planning for me because I tend to go with the flow and that day seriously FLEW by. If I didn't have an outline of smaller details, I would have forgotten a million things. Everyone in the wedding party got a copy of the timeline in order to have clear communication about what was happening when. Jessie and I met many times via facetime to go over the changing details of this timeline. THE VENDORS: Everglow events referred me to trusted and professional vendors and handled communication with them as well. Because we had a destination wedding, this was super helpful. After all I'm kind of a workaholic so taking an hour out of my 9-5 day stressed me out. Jessie was able to keep in contact with the vendors and facetime when needed on a schedule that worked for me. The vendors seemed to rave about her as well! THE DAY OF: The day of the wedding went just as planned and if there were issues, I didn't hear about them! We stuck to the timeline, and it really was like clockwork. I was nervous the décor might end up not being set up the way I wanted, but because I knew Jessie was going to do a once over - I knew it would turn out right. Example: Our officiant (a friend) had wanted a music stand to read off, and I said that was fine. Jessie let me know how horrible it looked and took the initiative to veto the stand. It makes me laugh because I do have photos of the stand there and holy hell I would have been pissed. Just one more thing that makes me grateful for her directness and overall thoughtfulness. Overall Everglow events handled my wedding planning at a level I didn't expect and I seriously recommend her to everyone in the Las Vegas, Henderson or even out of state area! Jessie was so organized, detail-oriented, fair, on-time, pleasant, patient, décor-minded, and truly sweet to work with. I was referred to Everglow Events by my friend so I had no idea until talking to her that Jessie is the owner and also a coordinator for Everglow Events. It makes sense that she owns the business because it shows in her planning how much she cares. I really prefer to work with small businesses for personalized events like this because I could tell she cared about me as a bride, my wishes and needs and not just the dolla bills. Hire everglow events! You'll be supporting a woman-owned business, and your mind will be at ease! You will actually have fun planning your wedding!

I have been to so many wedding photobooths and often the photos come out unfocused, dimly lit, or just sloppy in general. The owner, April, was the actual attendant for the entire wedding, and she lit all of the photos so well, and even made sure to adjust the camera to fit larger groups! She also accommodated the bride in using a custom illustration in the frame design which came out so beautifully. And on top of all of this-- the price?! Their packages are priced so incredibly well.
