Audrey was good and caring. She can improve on her hygienics though. But the main concern I had with this place was the office and referral system. They are very disorganized. They took forever to get referral approved despite my multiple calls. They can not resolve the issue with the insurance company. The front office is equally bad. They can not even forward my messages to the physician or other personnel.

You never see the Dr., you only get the fresh out of school, wet behind the ears, doe eyed PA. The Dr is too busy to actually see you (unless you mention you will be reporting them to Consumer Affairs, then he drove his Benz right over from golf course, and came right in). They practice pass the buck medicine, or is PRACTICE too strong a word (meaning you would actually DO something), as I found them to be of the more insurance collecting mill-n-bill type. I think whatever hack medical school these folks went to was off the box of cereal. When the PA goes in the other room (every visit) I think she googles it on webmd, and comes back with a cracker jack answer. I didn't like the service they provided, and asked to be called back, they of course made me come in to the office wasting my Personal Leave, and we accomplished NOTHING, why couldn't we do that by phone? Find yourself a REAL doctor, these folks are hacks. The Physicians Assistant was also a bit off hand rude, and dismissive as well.

CAUTION ! BIG BEWARE ! UNPROFESSIONAL, POSSIBLY ILLEGAL TREATMENT FACILITY…read more The staff and doctors at Integrated Care including Debra Murray N.P., Fatima M.A. and the rest of the staff will make 100% promises assuring you that the cost of the Spravato treatments are 100% covered, not to worry about the monthly unpaid invoices. She , (Debra. P.A.) on multiple occasions, tried explaining to us, that she would 'manipulate the "coding" so that the charges they were submitting to BLUE CROSS insurance would reflect some made up reason for a non-existent diagnosis that would get them to cover these treatments, 100%!. We didn't quite understand what Debra was telling us at the time. It never felt quite right with us. It almost felt fraudulent, it felt suspect and even shady and is the primary reason that both my partner and I left INTEGRATED CARE and went elsewhere for continued treatments. They, usually "Debra", on multiple occasions, told us, there's just some sort of "lag time"in payments from BlueCross-CA. Eventually, when the unpaid balance was becoming so large and 100%, unpaid. We both felt very uncomfortable about it and discontinued with treatments at IntegratedCare, regardless of the multiple conversations with them assuring us "not to worry" is just some kind of office error. They assured us both, that "eventually, the entire bill would be covered and to "just toss the invoices into the trash". They even kept incurrageing my partner to keep coming for the weekly treatments. All the while, his balance kept growing bigger and bigger. Apparently, the information and instructions that they were telling us? They were either inaccurate or possibly just a plain lies. They made mentions on telling, possibly fabricated information to the BlueCross, so why would I trust them to be honest with us? Over the past year, we are still today getting monthly statements today more than a year later. The stressful PAST DUE OR GOING INTO COLLECTIONS letters start coming in with a past due balance of $7,292.78 ! After numerous attempts to resolve and numerous promises that there no need to worry. Why couldn't they just be honest with us in the beginning or at anytime? Why would they encourage us to continue with weekly Spravato treatments for nearly 8 mos. Why wouldn't they inform us that the insurance was not paying their "bogusly coded charges"? while no payments were being approved by insurance? They never bothered to mention anything about it to us. What kind of business does that anyway? WHERE ELSE WOULD A PRIVATELY OWNED CLINIC CONTINUE PROVIDING "UNPAID" SERVICES FOR 7 MOS? ZERO payments received !! It ridiculous to imagine any medical, "niche" clinic to allow this kind of practice..The charges were more than my partners total income at that time !Over one year later, the obnoxious and bogus past due notices keep on coming on the first week of every month, showing still, no payments made. I now believe that they were repeatedly lying to us, telling us that ALL SERVICES WOULD BE PAID IN FULL. We eventually found another location in which all the needed treatments and services would be covered 100%.. BUYER BEWARE. THEY WILL LIE TO YOU, JUST TO KEEP YOU COMING for treatments while knowing that the treatments aren't being covered by insurance. I believe they just want to keep the number of patients as elevated as possible. That bottom line $$$ is #1 for them. This went on for around 8 mos.! We can no way afford $7,410 or around $10,000.00/ yr. for Spravato treatments for anxiety, depression & PTSD. Nor did we ever "verbally agree" to pay out of pocket for the services. THIS has become a big source of anxiety and depression in itself, over a year later. Thanks alot I.Care. We all know. We will never actually be made to pay this "BOGUS MEDICAL INVOICE". I am no expert, but am starting to believe that they will gladly take it and use it for a income TAX WRITE OFF write off, against the insanely hugely profitable, lucrative margins they work with there. I believe it's several hundred percent mark-up for a relatively cheap pharmaceutical given and supervised by a couple underpaid LVN'S and M.A's. I believe this was possibly there intention all along. I feel this practice is just plain dishonest, wrong and possibly even illegal. We have been very patient, waiting for some kind of resolve on this invoice. We should not be receiving any statement with any unpaid balances today., .Its now been just over a year. Still getting those statements. We are just fed up with this place. The dishonest and manipulative tactics used by the staff at Integrated Care is pretty sub par, even for the far less than desirable medical services community we are all living with today. I hope this review might prevent someone else from being mislead or maybe even lied to as we were by this very possibly, unethical Spravato clinic. You might end up with another giant sized unpaid bill when you leave there. Be careful

The person who schedules is short with me every single time I call and honestly quite rude. I know this is a busy thriving practice, but she is the first point of contact and not a good look for customer service. Thankfully, appointments are, mostly, readily available and being seen within a day or so is possible. God forbid you go there and get referred out to specialty care though, because then you run into the referral specialist who does not answer the phone- EVER! And if you leave a voicemail, does not answer them with a return call. You MIGHT get a response through MyHillChart. Might! But if you do, be prepared to wait for that response and then have it be laced with cynicism. And if you call the office to speak to ANYONE to try to get some clarity not through typed words, good luck!! It isnt happening! Left a message with the advice nurse a week ago, still haven't received a call back. If you aren't happy with the doctor they have chosen for you (especially if sent to someone you specifically asked not to see), getting a referral rerouted becomes a battle not for the faint of heart. Since the phone seems to be broken for this employee there will miscommunication and strife trying to get answers and good chances your referral will have to be rerouted a few times to get to the person of your choice. It will be a lengthy process, even for an "Urgent" referral. All in all, while I am happy with the clinical staff and care they provide, the office staff more than overshadows every interaction making it difficult to do much of anything in a timely manner and without tearing your hair out.

The selection process for establishing a new PCP aka: Primary Care Physician or as I fondly refer…read moreto to them "doc" is rather like trying to skillfully navigate a landmine field wearing flip flops and so after moving here 6 months ago I selected one who ended up sucking beyond belief sending me back out into the mine field in search again..... That's when I found Dr. Sockolov or Doc Alvin as I would learn many refer to him as and although there was a listing in Yelp for his brother there as they both occupy this office amongst a few other providers too, there wasn't one for him and so here we go..... The fact that there's a large sized stuffed Alvin and the Chipmunks animal with a huge "A" on it riding atop the counter top in the back office area told me he must have a decent sense of humor which would also be confirmed as the appointment with him ensued and actually he's got a fantastic sense of humor, bedside manner and competent at that! So far so good.... As seems to be all to usual and customary in the medical field the front desk staff aka: gate keepers were rather standoffish and border-lined on cold and rude not to mention disconnected however they did process my new patient paperwork and insurance information quite quickly so +1 star given from the get go.... Here's what I LOVED: DOUBLE APPOINTMENTS: Yep! Both me and my man both needed to establish PCP care here in Sac and the office offered at the time of scheduling via phone the new patient appointment to let us have our appointments together seeing us both in the same room... Now for some this may not work but since I have nothing to hide and he knows everything about me anyway I LOVED this as it saved valuable time AND if either of us forgot to mention anything to the doc the other spoke up which helped us all.... Great form for allowing this! BEDSIDE MANNERISM: I immediately fell in love with Dr.Alvin due to his quick witted and super fast come backs as well as his sense of humor when dealing with me...... I tend to be quite a handful and can easily overwhelm most people and doctors included but he did a fantastic job at keeping me on task and addressing any and all health concerns/issues. PLUS he's very very thorough AND comes into the room with his laptop where he 'charts' the visit electronically verses old school paper and I prefer this method as well for health records it's excellent.... RAN ON TIME!: Yes!!! Our appointments ran on time with no waiting around or untimely delays.. LOVED THIS!!!! SAMPLES: YES! He gave us a few samples of some antihistamine nasal sprays to see if they worked BEFORE prescribing them which I appreciated the hell out of as to fill this particular med is $40 a pop and if it didn't work then what a waste of money...... Great form doc! OFFICE STAFF: Although we started off a lil rough by the time we left the girls at the front were quite friendly and helpful as we filled out the forms to have our records transferred over from the previous epic fail MD to doc Alvin..... I did however mention to the doc while seeing him that his front office staff were rather unfriendly, cold and borderline rude to which he listened and then suggested that maybe their positions were stressful and the like at which point I countered with the reality check that in the scope of the world and truly "stressful" jobs theirs doesn't even make the list and so maybe it was time for them to find another career... His response: Good point and duly noted.... I loved that .... We will be back as this was just our first visit here but so far I'm keeping him.......
