It was a 4 year long battle and Arkady never gave up on me even though at times it appeared there was no light at the end of the tunnel. The employer had 3 well paid attorneys vs. a lone Arkady so it was a David vs. Goliath situation. You may think you are looking for an attorney to do all the work for you but you really should be looking for a good partner that you can brain storm and collaborate with because each industry is unique and each industry represents a different set of challenges that your attorney may not be familiar with. A good case is built on a good partnership between you and your attorney. Arkady quickly got up to speed in my specific niche industry and we formulated a plan of attack specific to my unique situation. In the end Arkady helped me build an amazing slam dunk case and negotiated a wonderful settlement 1 month before our jury trial was scheduled to start. I was so grateful with what he did for me and my family that I named my son after him.

I contacted Conn Law regarding a lemon law issue and had a really positive experience. Even though…read morethey weren't directly handling my case, they still took the time to guide me on the best next steps. I worked with Colin Hector directly and he suggested reaching out to the manufacturer and even helped draft a letter I could use, which made the process much easier. What I appreciated most was their transparency... Colin was honest about their role and didn't try to push unnecessary services. Colin also followed up afterward to check in, which says a lot about how the firm treat people. Overall, I'm very grateful for Colin's help and would recommend Conn Law to anyone looking for honest advice and support.

Elliot just helped me successfully process a lemon law claim with Ford Motor Company. They agreed…read moreto repurchase my vehicle, and we were able to successfully get a very high cash payout after multiple rounds of negotiations while avoiding a lawsuit. I cannot recommend Elliot highly enough for these types of matters. He is super responsive and extremely knowledgeable in this field. My specific case involved some complexities around the statute of limitations and tolling (see more info below). I was under the gun for timing when I called a number of Lemon Law attorneys on a Friday. Elliot was one of the only ones to call me back and did so on a Friday evening, then spent an hour helping me get the claim submitted. If we hadn't done that, the timing wouldn't have worked out for me to successfully do this claim. I don't know about you, but I I want to work with the guy that is calling people back at 5:30pm on a Friday. Just to educate everyone a little bit on this subject. California lemon law has a six-year statute of limitations, but there is also a tolling period that goes along with that legislation. What that means is that you can add on the number of days your vehicle was out of service to the six-year statute. In my case, it had been out of service over eight months and therefore still qualified. Almost all of the firms I called had very low-level people answering their phones, going through a basic checklist, and they failed to understand this concept. Therefore, most of them told me they could not work on my claim.

She not only handled my case with skill and professionalism, but also took the time to ensure I understood my rights and options throughout the entire process. I always felt heard, respected, and well-advocated for. Beyond her legal expertise, Amber is deeply client-centered and genuinely cares about the people she represents. She is strategic, thoughtful, and calm under pressure -- exactly the kind of advocate you want in a stressful situation. Thanks to her guidance, the outcome of my case was better than I could have imagined. I'm extremely grateful for her support and would recommend her without hesitation.

Better lawyers out there, have spoken to others in the Bay who gave truly nuanced consultations and offered solutions that made sense. She felt very inexperienced, relying on "what the law says" versus negotiation nuance. She frames it as an "intake call" in her response but she was offering me guidance on what to do even though I kept saying I didn't think her guidance made sense in my situation. Update: she just viewed my LinkedIn in response to this review and has not sent a letter to state she is not my attorney. Update: the non-attorney letter did go to my spam but it was wholly unprofessional as well. She was defensive for our conversation, blaming the "short nature" of it and "my timeline" and said "I believe you just posted a Yelp review and I am sorry that you felt the need to post that. It is your prerogative. I wish you the best and I hope you are able to find a satisfactory resolution." So, she was more focused on defending herself and arguing she was "right" than my case. I am greatly concerned about the ethics of this practitioner who prioritizes her own 5-star rating over reflecting on how she communicates with prospective clients. Employment law is a highly sensitive area, I hope people are able to find compassionate and knowledgeable individuals to serve them, not ones who are defensive and operate in an ethical gray area.
