I was a new patient, had never been to the office, and was treated like an afterthought. Dr. Wang never even introduced herself, or explained anything about acupuncture, knowing that I was new to the treatment. I was asked a few questions, then told to take off my clothes and lie on the table. After the acupuncture, she said that someone, (not sure if a name was given) would be in to do cupping. The person, who worked at the front desk, and never greeted me or gave me her name, came in. She started putting the cups on me, and two popped off; so, she called in a reinforcement. The other staff member also did not introduce herself, or explain anything about the cupping procedure, just that it is supposed to reduce inflammation, and only lasts for 5 minutes. What NOONE told me until the cups were being removed, (the person said, "did anyone tell you that this causes bruising?", to which I answered emphatically, "NO", as no one really explained anything to me. I now have dark purple bruises all over my back...had I known this would happen, I would have opted out of the cupping altogether. I wonder what cures the inflammation of my nerves that this visit has caused?? I have never had such a BAD experience, and will NEVER go back to Dr. Wang for anything!!!

I was having intense lower back pain from the birth of my second child for over nine months and it was just getting worse by the day. I had scheduled physical therapy and knew I needed something else to hopefully heal. After searching for a specialized postpartum PT I figured it was worth a try to find a chiro who specialized in the same. I didn't even know if it existed, but it does here! I honestly wish I would have found her sooner, during my pregnancy, after I found out she specializes in pregnancy care too. We walked through all my issues and concerns and she got to treating me. It took about three months to start feeling some true relief. I was at times dejected from not feeling too much better and she always was very frank with me. She wanted to help, but I needed to be honest if things weren't getting better so we could address what treatments I needed. I got the feeling she is hyper aware of the stigma chiropractors have with potentially taking advantage of people and really truly wants to break that and have you feeling better than when you first came. She's…read morevery kind and perceptive, her office is beautiful and quiet and easy to get to (you can walk from the Potomac or Kelton T stops), and the treatment she's been giving me works. One detail I like, compared to other acupuncturists, is that while you're resting with the needles in she covers you with one of those first-aid blankets that look like super-fine tinfoil, so you stay warm but the blanket is super super light and places no pressure at all on the needles. Also, she does this amazing thing at the end where she covers your entire back with a hot compress soaked in Chinese herbal tea. You might as well be at the spa. What more can I say? Great stuff!

He also helped me really learn how muscles in your body are connected, and sitting a certain way or injuring something in your back for example can escalate into pains in your neck.
