I was originally a patient of Dr. MacArthur until he retired and I have been a patient of Dr. Fridland for about the last decade. Dr. Fridland embraces technology and has helped bring innovation and new ideas to the office. In addition to liking and trusting them, one of the things I particularly like is that there is almost no staff turnover, except for retirement. The same, familiar faces are there every time I go and I'm recognized and welcomed by my first name. And, on those (thankfully rare) occasions that I need to sit in Dr. Fridland's chair, I have found him to be sensitive to my concerns (and fears), very personable and enjoyable to talk with and very professional and thorough. An elevator is available to the 3rd floor office. Everything is bright and inviting. The office reception and waiting area is very nice and the personnel are very friendly and put my at ease right away. They easily explained all the insurance coverage and printed out everything I needed. So far I have only been treated by a very capable hygienist. It's been a few years since I've been to a dentist office so it was like starting all over again. Painless, efficient, gentle, and friendly. Everything was explained in detail. All the problems that I had, how they expected to proceed, a dentist came in to check things out and made recommendations and he too, explained everything. Everyone was very caring and most of all very gentle when I explained I was a wimp with dental pain. Everything in my dental heath plan seemed very reasonable. I got my wisdom tooth taken out on October 18 yesterday and everything went out perfectly fine. I wasn't bloated and it almost look like I didn't get my teeth taken out because everything was done the right way. Dr. Maguire was my surgeon and he was terrific. I am scared when it comes to needles but he made it painless and quick! I got prescribed pain meds right away and now I can move and talk just fine! When they need something, everyone is on high alert, but when you need assistance, it's a different story altogether. What I should have done was come here first before taking a chance.
